Location: Mario's House - The Mushroom Kingdom

One day at the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario got a letter in the mail from Nintendo as he, Y/n and their friends are invited to attend another Smash Bros. Event.

Let's hope this is not another one of Master Hand's devious schemes to get Y/n into the Smash game ever since Season 2 of this series that Master Hand rejected Waluigi too many times to be part of the Roster and Y/n going completely rogue with his Dark Sonic-esque form until the gang had to put an end to the apocalypse.

Mario: OH BOI! Itsa that time again!!! Just hope that this is not another one of Master Hand's devious schemes to get Y/n into Smash Bros. I better go get the gang, so we can get start on this chapter in this book.

He then runs off to go get his friends before he bumps into Luigi, who is looking at a fire flower until he squashed it when Mario pushed him away as a new Smash Game has arrived.

Mario: LUIGI!!! GET A MOVE ON!!! A NEW SMASH GAME HAS ARRVIED!!!

Luigi: MARIO! NOOO! Wasn't the battle royale enough!?

Mario: I'm sure Master Hand won't be hosting this next Smash game this time since he's in prison after the whole incident back in Season 2, remember?

Luigi: Oh....ok then. Wait for me then.

Then the two of them make their way over to Nintendo HQ, where a lot of people including Y/n, Mario, Waluigi and the others arrived at one of the stages as they all wait for the host to arrive to start the new Smash game.

Y/n: Alright, I wonder what's gonna happen this time. I just hope it's not another one of those battle royales again. 

Mario: Yeah, we almost died during that episode and all we won is a bucket of chicken from KFC.

Luigi: (Notices Link in his new look) Oh, Link! Nice Hair! So...you're a girl now?

Link didn't say anything and put a bomb in Luigi's mouth, which blew up.

Mario: Even I knew that was dumb.

Y/n: (Notices Waluigi) Oh, hey Waluigi. What brings you here?

Waluigi: Not sure, but I hope I make it to the Smash roster, which I'm pretty sure it will never ever happen.

Y/n: Don't worry, I'm sure Miyamoto will finally accept you as a playable character in the game. I mean, Master Hand is the one that made you go rogue with rejection, and I went all Dark Sonic with betrayal. Plus, you have incredible tennis skills. sweet dance moves and you can make a mean taco.

Waluigi: Yeah...right...

Then without a moment too soon, the host has arrived and no, it's not Master Hand this time, it's actually his cousin from the N64 version of Smash Bros., N64 Master Hand

N64 M. Hand: Sorry I'm late everyone and in case if you're all wondering, I'm not the same Master Hand that made Waluigi and Y/n go all villain in Season 2 of this amazing series. I'm actually his cousin from the N64 Smash Bros game. I appreciate all of you including Y/n and Waluigi for coming here. As we all know a new smash is coming, which means new characters! And this time, I want you, the main characters to be the judges of choosing who's going to be in it! Now let's see our contestants to see if they have the chance to be in the roster to be in the new Smash Bros game.

Then N64 Master Hand used his power to summon the contestants that were all chosen to participate in the Smash Bros Trials.

and Waluigi

After the selected contestants (Minus Y/n and Waluigi) were all brought into the stage, Meggy and Ember turned to face the Smash Bros Fighters with the glowing Smash Bros Symbol glowed in the background as the selected Contestants are chosen to participate in the Smash audition.

N64 Master Hand: I apologize for interrupting all of you on whatever you are doing, but you are all selected by Miyamoto to participate in the Smash Bros Audition for your chance to win to be part of the Smash Bros. roster.

Boopkins: Uhh, I didn't choose to come here, I kidnapped!

N64 Master Hand: My apologies Boopkins. I will send you back home after this. I promise. Now...(Puts on his reading glasses and reads the list) each contestant has been paired with a main roster character and each of you will be given a trail to go through and if you pass the trial, you're on the team!

Pichu: (Hooray! It's Pichu's time to return!)

Snake: (Shoves Pichu out the way) Oh Yeah! Metal Gear x5!

N4 Master Hand: Ok settle down everyone! Let's not get too carried away now. Let the trails BEGIN!!!

Mario: Oh boy! Imma gonna smash dat ass!!!

Trail #1: SMG4 Vs. Break the Targets Challenge

In this trail for SMG4, all he has to do in order to pass the trail is break down all the targets in order to become a member of the Smash Bros. Roster.

SMG4: So...uuhhh Link. What's gonna be my challenge?

Then Link points SMG4 to the target with his sword as SMG4 fully understands on what he needs to do in order to win the trial.

SMG4: Oh! Break the targets! I used to be pretty good at this!

He then punched the target, which was too easy for him as he is ready to hit the next one.

SMG4: Alright! Where's the next one?

Link then pointed the next target that is located at the other side of the river, which shouldn't be too hard for SMG4 as he just to swim all the way to the other side of the river to hit the target.

SMG4: Eh, it's only on the other side of the river! All I gotta do is swim!

However, Link decided to make the challenge more difficult by pressing a button on a remote control, releasing a bunch of man eating sharks in the water as way to make this trial more challenging for the memester.

SMG4: THE HELL!? How do you expect me to get over there!?

Link: (Shrugs)

Then without warning, Link spun around and around with his sword as a makeshift helicopter as he flew away, leaving SMG4 all alone to deal with the situation with the sharks guarding the target.

SMG4: You know what? I can do this! I've done stuff worse than this! All I gotta do is swim!

SMG4 then jumped into the water and began swimming for his life from the sharks swimming after him to the other side of the river.

By the time SMG4 made it to the other side of the river with a shark that took a bite of half of his body, he was just this close to he target until he toppled over, thus failing the trial.

FAILURE!!!

N64 Master Hand: Oh geez. Sorry SMG4. Looks like you lost, but how about this, we can use you as a skin for Mario. How about that?

SMG4: Ah yes!

N64 Master Hand: (Laughs) Splendid! (Calls 911) Hello? 911? Yes, this is Master Hand's N64 cousin. I'm calling for an ambulance to get SMG4 to a hospital ASAP! A shark just took a bite on half of his own body and is in need of immediate medical attention right now. Thank you. (Ends call) Now...onto the next trial!!!

Trial #2: Meggy & Ember Vs. Board the Platforms Challenge!

In the next trial, Meggy and Ember will have to board the platforms in order to win this trial.

Meggy: Alright, let me at em'! Who's butt do we get to kick today?!

Ember: Yeah! Who are we gonna fight tonight?!

Mario: Sorry Ember and Meggy. No butt kicking today! You two will have to do some platforming to pass this trial!

Ember: Aw man! I thought we were gonna fight someone in this trial. This stinks!

Meggy: Platforming? Seems to easy...

Ember: Ah what the heck! I can go for a platforming challenge. Let's do this!

Then Meggy and Ember began running up to the platforms to begin the challenge, but Meggy suddenly can't jump that high to reach the platforms.

Meggy: (Sad) Aww man...Sorry Red....looks like me and Ember are not gonna be in the new Smash.

Ember: Oh well. We tried.

Then the two Inklings turned to walk away until Y/n came in and grabbed Meggy's hand, to which she jumped up in surprise by Y/n's touch as her face blushed up red like a tomato.

Y/n: Don't worry, Meggy. I'll help you get up there. 

Then Y/n threw her up to the platform with one hand, which she managed to land safely on top of the platform.

Meggy: Ow....Hey! Wait...I think that worked out perfectly! Hey Ember! Can you give me a hand here!?

Ember: You got it Megs!

Ember than changed to his wolf form and jumped up to Meggy on the platform she's on right now as Meggy got onto Ember's back as Ember jumped to each platform with Meggy riding on his back. Then we see N64 Master Hand watching the two inklings doing a great job on jumping on those platforms, which he allowed it since he should've lowered the platforms for Meggy and Ember to jump on until he remembered that Ember has a wolf form that will allow him to jump onto high places with ease.

N64 Master Hand: Fascinating. I'd never seen a Inkling/Wolf Hybrid before. Those two make a great team together. This is an easy win for the both of them!

Then after Ember jumped on the last platform with Meggy holding onto Ember very tightly, the two of them managed to win the challenge and will become the new playable characters in the new Smash game.

SUCCESS!!!

Trial #3: Fishy Boopkins Vs. Home-Run Contest Challenge

Now in this trail challenge, all Boopkins has to do is hit the Sandbag as hard as he can in order to win the challenge to be in the Smash Bros. roster.

Boopkins: Ohhhhhhh...where am I?

Luigi: Pssst...Hey Boopkins!

Boopkins: Uhh Luigi do I have to be here? I don't wanna be in Smash.

Luigi: Sorry Boop, I can't do anything or else Master Hand will get pissed...

N64 Master Hand: I'm most certainly will not. If he doesn't want to be in Smash, then he can just forfeit. This is why Miyamoto got me out of retirement to take my cousin's job at Nintendo HQ for a really good reason. (Sighs) Let's if Boopkins have what it takes to win this tria or not.

Boopkins: Ok, what do you want me to do?

Luigi: Okay...all you gotta do is take this home-run bat and hit the sandbag over 100 meters. Simple. (Hands Boopkins the Home-Run Bat)

Boopkins: (Grabs the bat) Oh, is that all? That's too easy!

Luigi: Uhh that's all I guess...Good luck!

READY!

GO!

With ten seconds on the clock, Boopkins began hitting the sandman with the bat that barely did any damage to it at all and the clock is ticking away.

Boopkins: Uhh, this is too much for me. I don't think I can do it.

Luigi: HURRY UP AND HIT IT BOOPKINS!!!

With time running out, Boopkins had no other choice but to call out his dad for assistance.

Boopkins: DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!

Then without a doubt, Boopkins' Dad showed up after hearing his son call out for him, as Boopkins asked his dad to help him hit the sandbag to win the trial challenge.

Boopkins: Dad, Dad. Can you hit the sandbag, please?

Then Boopkins' Dad used his tentacle to hit the sandbag as it began flying over the arena like a speeding bullet, destroying the record counter in the process.

N64 Master Hand: (Shocked) Holy Shit! Looks like Boopkins won the trial after all. I'll allow it...if he wants to or not. I don't care. It's his and his father's decision.

SUCCESS!

Trial #4: Y/n Vs. Wario's Coin Battle

In this trial challenge, Y/n is challenged to collect Wario's coins in order to win to become a Smash Bros member.

Wario: So, Y/n. You ready to get your ass beat? :D

Y/n: That depends. Are you afraid of getting your ass kicked?

Wario: Bring it on! (Punches Y/n, sending out coins in the process) Looks like you just became a walking ATM Machine! I'm gonna be rich once I keep punching you over and over again!

Y/n: Why I oughta! (Punches Wario in the face) How do you like them apples, Wario? You're going down Tubby!

Wario: Tubby? (Growls) Nobody calls me Tubby!!!

Then Wario brought out a bunch of weapons to use against Y/n as he began firing at Y/n until he fired his laser eyes at Wario, which knocked him back into his weapon pile. Then Y/n brought out his sword and began charging at Wario, to which he immediately started rummaging through the weapon pile before bringing out a glass case as he threw it at Y/n, before he got trapped inside the case as a assist trophy.

Wario: Oops. Sorry about that, Y/n. But look on the bright side, you not only don't have to be in the Smash roster, but you also don't have to be a assist trophy like my brother. It's probably for the best.

FAILURE!!!

Timeskip - A Few Minutes Later...

N64 Master Hand: Keep this between us okay? (Hands Wario a big stack of cash)

After Y/n lost the trial to be in the new Smash game, it turns out that it was all part of Miyamoto's plan to get Y/n to lose the trial and Y/n agreed with the plan along with Wario to make it happen after how much Master Hand tried so many times to get Y/n to be in smash.

N64 Master Hand: Seriously, that cousin of mine will not stop pestering this cool cat to be in the smash roster, but I'm glad that Y/n agreed to go along with this plan.

Wario: Yeah, even after the whole incident that happened back in Season 2 shows us that Y/n is not ready for this kind of offer.

N64 Master Hand: Agreed.

Trial #5: Bob Vs. Fighting Polygon Team

Bob's challenge is to fight the entire Polygon Fighting Team in order to win the challenge. Let's see if he's up for the task.

Bob: LeT's Go BrInG iT On BiTcHeS! 1v1 Me BrO! I'm S TiEr. WhO aM I fIgHtInG? LeT mE At ThEm, I'lL dO mY SUpEr TrAsH fInAl SmAsH!

Polygon Yoshi: IIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNCOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMIIIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!! (Runs Away)

Bob: HeY wAiT. WhErE aRe U gOiN-

Then the entire Polygon Team roster jumped up from behind and ambushed him with a high number sneak attack.

Bob: Oh GoSh My OvArIeS! U wOt M8?!

Then Bob started beating the crap out of all of the Polygon Team Fighters before one of them got a hammer from a box. Then another box appear beside Bob as he is excited to get a weapon to defend himself with against the Polymorph.

Bob: Oh HeLl Yes pLeAsE gIvE mE sOm-

He opened the box to reveal a very weak weapon, which is not powerful enough to stop a Polymorph with a giant hammer.

Bob: bUlLsHiT, wHaT tHe HelL iS tHiS sTuPiD-

Then the Polymorph used his hammer to attack Bob, which made Bob grab the flower staff to block the attack.

Bob: LoOkS lIKe I'm GONn4 hAvE tO uSe My FiNaL SmAsH!

He then kicked the Polymorph in the crotch, sending a massive amount of pain to the Polymorph as he dropped his Hammer, giving Bob the opportunity to use the hammer to stop the Polymorphs as he spun around with the hammer like it's a pole and began kicking the Polymorphs one by one.

Bob: Oh ShIt! CaN't StOp ThE BoB! CaN't StOp The-

Then he soon got dogpiled by even more Polymorphs as he is being crushed to death by the Polymorph fighters.

Bob: U tHiNk U cAn BeAt Me? LeT mE tElL u SoMeThInG! I havn't showered in 24 years...

Then Bob managed to break free from the Polymorph and did a victory dance.

Bob: CaN't StOp ThE BoB! 3x

His victory was short lived when a Polymorph DK used a blowing weapon to push Bob off the ledge, thus losing the fight and his chance to be in the Smash Bros. roster.

FAILURE!!!

Polymorph DK: (Dances) Not Funny! Didn't Laugh!

Then without warning, Polymorph DK soon got blasted by a flamethrower from Jeffy as he melted into a pile of goo while screaming in pain.

Jeffy: Ha Ha! Freaking R.I.P.

Tails Doll: (Summons a Nuclear Bomb) Let's get out of here, Jeffy!

Jeffy: Ok!

Then as Tails Dolls set the bomb, he and Jeffy flew out of the stage via flight and remote control drone as they both went through a portal before the bomb blew up, thus winning the trial as two new members of the Smash Bros. Roster instead of Bob.

SUCCESS!!!

Trial #6: Little Toadie Vs. Bowser

Bowser: Hey Toad, welcome to your trial! You ready to get started? :D

Toad: Eh...not like I have a choice. What is it? A race to the finish?

Bowser: (Holds a Smash Power Orb) Nope! You just have to beat me in a battle! :D

Then Bowser crushed the orb to pieces, thus making him into a powerful giant killing machine. How is Toad gonna even stop this monster to win the challenge?

Toad: I didn't want to have to do this to you...but I have no choice! With my Mushroom Powers, I SUMMON MY ULTIMATE MUSHROOM MECH!!!

Then Toad summoned his battle mech to use against Bowser in one of his most powerful forms as he got himself inside the suit to power up as he is now ready to fight against Bowser.

Toad: I'M THE BEST!!!

Bowser: (Beastly Roar)

Toad: (Toad War Cry)

Then they both started fighting each other like a Godzilla like battle until Toad slapped Bowser in the face, thus winning the trial.

Toad: I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!!

SUCCESS!!!

Meggy: I'm sorry that you didn't get to be in the Smash Bros. game, Y/n.

Y/n: It's all good. I'm just glad that you managed to win the trial with Ember. You two did great out there!

Meggy: (Blushes) Thanks a bunch, Y/n.

Y/n: My pleasure, Megs.

Random Guy: Hey! You two should kiss!

Y/n/Meggy: (Groans) Seriously?

Waluigi: (Urge to kill Rising) Shut the hell up or I will break your neck in half!!!

N64 Master Hand: And that's your trial, Waluigi! Kick that guy's ass!

Waluigi: (Changes to his Rambo Waluigi Form) With pleasure.

Random Guy: Oh poop.

It was at this moment, he knew. He f***ed up.

Final Trial: Waluigi Vs. This Stupid Guy!

Without a moment too soon, Waluigi went all in on the Random Guy, beating him to a bloody pulp with everyone cheering for Waluigi as he showed the Rando no mercy, thus finally making him a permanent playable character in the Smash Bros. Roster.

WALUIGI FINALLY MAKES HIS WAY INTO THE SMASH ROSTER!!!

So it looks like everything turned out great in the end.

Well almost everything as Master Hand sudden felt a disturbance within the Smash Bros. Roster as he is still locked up in his prison cell that is 1000 miles away from Nintendo HQ.

Master Hand: I sense a disturbance in the Smash Roster....and I don't like it.
