Once it got to later on, I was just wondering what they could be doing to Molly. I heard thunder outside. "Guys, it doesn't seem like Molly's been here." Gert said to us, I was checking a few rooms upstairs, but she gone.

"Molly!" I shouted trying to see if she would respond.

"Maybe she's still at the church!" Karolina said to all of us. She had to be.

"Yeah, which is totally crawling with Morgan's followers." Chase said to us all.

"Let's just hope she didn't make friends with them." I said before checking around a door. Nothing.

"Well, Molly wasn't captured with the rest of you. Maybe she got away." Nico said to us before we all looked around more,

"Well, I mean, she kicked my ass, I'm sure she'll be fine." Chase said to us, I saw an open window and decided to go out it. Was it bad that I was sneaking away a lot. I mean probably but I had to try and find any information on anything. I was still destroying all phones that I saw in sight. I needed to sort this whole thing out by myself. It was dark out but I didn't mind it. It seemed nice at night. Nothing to hurt me. Once I got home I saw that Chase was still awake.

"Where did you go?" He asked me, I looked at him.

"I went out. I couldn't be trapped here." I said to him, making him shake his head.

"Y/n it's too dangerous to leave this place alone, and without telling anyone. What if something had happened to you? Especially out in this storm." He said to me, I looked at him.

"I'm ok, but for now I'm exhausted. I drained my powers." I said to him before passing out on the bed, I couldn't be asked to what up for anyone. Even if that meant Molly. It wasn't long before Chase woke me up, we had a plan to discuss.

"Those of us who've been to the other side know how bad it'll be if Morgan succeeds. So we gotta take the fight the fight to her. Tonight." Alex said to us, but how were we going to find her.

"How? We've seen what the Whispers from the phones can do." Chase said to us, that's why I'd been destroying all in my sight.

"And what's to stop Morgan from turning all of us into mindless killer drones?" Dale asked us, there would be nothing at all.

"Then, not to pile in the bad news, but even if we do manage to stay unechanted ourselves, Morgan still has an entire army." Gert said to us.

"An army that is way bigger than us." I said to them, and more powerful as well.

"And an army that's growing. Those phones have been distributed up the entire coast." Leslie said to us, there was no chance.

"So we're talking hundreds of thousands of users." Stacey said to us, it was more than that.

"More like millions." Geoffrey said to us, that seemed about right.

"What's this army for, anyway?" Chase asked, who knew at this rate.

"In Morgan's case, I don't think preserving national security and defending the Constitution." Victor said to us, this was about taking o er the whole world.

"Maybe it's like a new church. A leader isn't a leader without any followers." Karolina said to us but she was brainwashing them into this.

"Every good dictator- -and by good I mean bad- -needs a loyal army to maintain power." Gert said to us, they were getting the power from the people using the phones.

"And to draw power from. Maybe Morgan is using those followers like she used Molly, to amplify her magic and tear down the veil." Tina said to us all, that had to be the reason. Using Molly could've made them stronger.

"Can't we just take down the phone somehow? I mean, calls drop all the time in L.A." Molly said to us but this whole thing was very different.

"These phones are powered by Morgan's magic." Tina said to us, there was no preventing this from happening.

"The cell towers still use good old-fashioned tech." Victor said to us, we potentially had a way.

"Meaning they can be hacked." Alex said, we could do something.

"It would take some work, but if you and Chase and I put our heads together, we could see what we come up with." Victor said to Alex, they'd be better as a trio.

"I've got some ideas." Chase said to us all.

"Okay, great, but that doesn't solve our biggest problem. Morgan. She can't be defeated by technology. That's why we need this." Nico said while holding up the dagger Tandy gave her. "A weapon forged in Morgan's world through a combination of light and dark energy." Nico said to us, but we'd have to trap her first

"But the only way to defeat her with that is by sticking it in her." Stacey said to us, that would be easy to do.

"And that sounds like a direct physical confrontation." Dale said to us and I looked at him.

"For some of us that will be easy to overcome." I said while looking at Molly, we could take her down.

"If that's what it takes." Alex said to us, we could win this fight.

"We can't be reckless. Morgan's magic is too strong. But...there may be a way to contain it. With a circle of salt." Tina said to us, there was no way to do that.

"Like a Wiccan magic circle. It's used to create a sacred space, a barrier to limit spells." Nico said to us so we create the circle we can then take her down.

"Seriously? Like table salt? It's really that simple?" Gert asked us but it won't be simple.

"It's not simple at all. It needs to be imbued with magic, foraged with blood." Tina said to us, they can count me out of that.

"Okay, I...that sounds terrifying." Dale said to us, but it's what would get this done.

"Whatever it takes, let's get it done. Okay, we figure out a way to draw Morgan out close enough to spike her." Alex said to us, we'd have to get close.

"While disabling her army of human batteries." Chase said to us, that would take time.

"All in a day's work." Victor said to us before we all separated. Me and Chase went into our room.

"If it needs to happen, I will sacrifice myself to save you and the others." I said to Chase and he just shook his head.

"You're not doing anything that stupid, and even if you think that I will stop you." He said to me before I heard more thunder go off and I jumped. "Now, come here because I know that your scared." He said to me before bringing me into his arms.

"I wish that everything would be normal. So that we don't have to think about any of this." I said to him and he was rocking me in his arms.

"Who would've thought that Wilder's reunion would create all of this." He said before kissing my temple.

"But one good thing happened, we got back together." I said to him with a smile. I saw him smile as well.

"That's the best thing that happened and I'm glad it did." He said to me before Victor knocked on our door.

"Chase, we've got work today." He said to him, Chase kissed me quickly.

"Don't overwork yourself." I said to him as he left me.

"You know I won't." He said to me with a smile, after Chase left I just led down. I started trying to use my powers to strengthen them. It wasn't long till Dale called me downstairs.

"What are you going to do?" I asked him and he got the needle ready.

"I'll be temporarily altering your DNA, you will still have your powers just a few side effects possibly." He said to me before listening the side effects. I wasn't paying attention he injected me but I felt the same, I went out into the main room and saw Chase going down stairs with a phone.

"Chase, Chase, Chase. You need to go and get the Whisperers antidote from Dale. Chase, what are you doing?" I asked him as he put his Fistigons to me, he had a phone. Molly tackled him. Gert ran down and injected him and I destroyed the phone.

"What happened?" He asked us, he had no idea.

"Where the hell did you get a phone?" Alex asked him.

"I don't know." He answered, so where was it.

"Things just don't appear out of thin air." Gert said before a portal opened behind us. Morgan was here.

"Good evening, everyone. How nice to see you all." She said to us, I tried using my powers and I saw that JJ was doing the same along with Karolina.

"Hyah!" Karolina got out but nothing worked.

"Cute. But no. Now, tell me, where is Nico?" She asked, we'd never answer. That.

"Hyah!" Nico got out before she joined us, the dagger was impaled into Morgan.

"Hmm. That didn't really work out quite as planned, now, did it?" Morgan asked, it didn't work.

"I don't understand. You-you we're supposed to die and explode." Nico said to us, it should've worked.

"Things work much differently this side of the veil. Often, what may be lethal there just makes you stronger." She said to us before inhaling, she then absorbed the dagger. Crap. "It was a valiant effort. Really. Don't be too disappointed. You never really did stand a chance." She said as she began to walk downstairs. Nico put her staff out. "Before you strike, know this. I am now too strong to kill, even with Staff of One. So, lest you take away any good will I may have, you really should listen to what I have to say. There will not be another chance. The two worlds will merge soon. It's far too late to stop that, but...there's still time to save yourselves and the ones you love. Submit to me." She said to us, that was never going to happen.

"No. Thanks for the offer, but we'll pass." Nico said to her.

"Oh...Nico. I was your age once. Optimistic I could change the world. Well, if you want to change the world, follow me. This is how change happens. The new regime rising up to overthrow the old. But you can't be naive enough to think your world is perfect. Poverty, disease, hunger. Corruption. These are the very reasons people turn to spirituality and religion. And yet the world still suffers. Some things will need to be razed to the ground. But only so we can rebuild, and the new world we build will be greater than you could ever imagine. Or you can live a life of endless torture. Your choice." She said to us, I was being swayed. I saw Alex take a knee.

"Alex, no." Nico said to him I started to back away.

"I'm sorry, Nico, but I can't go through that again. We had our chance. We failed." Alex said to us, maybe she was right.

"Maybe she's right. Maybe this is the worlds last chance at a clean slate." Gert said to us.

"It would be a better world as well." I said to them all.

"We won't know if we're dead." Chase said to us.

"I don't see what other option we have." Molly said before the rest of us took a knee.

"Please say you're with me." Nico said to Karolina.

"I am, but...I love you too much to let you die like this." Karolina said before taking a knee. It was everyone but Nico.

"I gave you every chance, Nico. I would have trained you, guided you." Morgan said before I tuned out the conversation. I didn't want to hear anymore.

"Oh, but my circle, hell, we're just powering up." I heard Nico say and we all stood up. Morgan was getting weaker.

"We figured you'd try and turn us against each other." Alex said to her.

"Yeah, but that would never happen." Molly said to us her.

"Pretending to submit to you brought us just enough time." Karolina said to us all.

"That whole submission thing, that was an act. I mean, I was acting. Just wanted to make sure everyone else was..." Chase said to us, we were all acting.

"I don't need my followers to destroy you all!" Morgan said before using her magic.

"Guard!" Nico yelled. "Run! Get to cover!" Nico said before we all went to two separate sides. I saw the darkness consume Nico. We had to do something. From the other side Karolina did.

"I see her minions are here!" I said before finding a way to get to the second level and fighting them alongside Alex and Chase. I didnt even want to know how it was going down there. Soon everything was normal again.

"The skies clear. I think it's over." Alex said as we went downstairs.

"So, we won?" Molly asked us all.

"I'd say so." I said to her.

"I knew we would. Kick ass." Gert said before collapsing.

"Gert." Chase said before going over to her. He was saying something to her but I couldn't hear it, I looked up and saw blood. She was dying. I started crying. Soon it went silent, Gert was dead.

"Gert." I said before hugging Alex. She was gone. Our best friend was gone. We all went over to her, I heard Old Lace roar. This was fucked.
