Chapter 16

Seeing their King wrap a new black handkerchief to stop the bleeding Dandi and Ranveer could only stand aside silently as they watch him slowly walk towards the open window. With the breeze flowing through his wet hair coupled with the moonlight shining down upon him Omkara had to admit that the air in Ashen was very refreshing.

"The nights here sure is beautiful isn't it?"

They could feel a sudden chill fill the room as their King turned around to meet their gaze. With a smile full of hidden malice and eyes dark as night even their knees wanted to buckle at such a sight.

"How can I sleep knowing the Princess is going to have a sleepless night? I should keep her company."

Dandi and Ranveer couldn't help but stare at one another hoping that whatever is to happen tonight would not start any war and seeing as to how his two men were so quiet Omkara couldn't help but throw his head back slightly as he gaze out towards the star filled sky and laugh.

"Why are you two so on edge? Nothing will happen tonight. If anything was to happen ....it is only because I allowed it so."

"When you see the Prince of Uthon make his way towards the Princess's Courtyard come notify me Ranveer."

"And me your Majesty?"

"Since our Princess has a pretty decent guard in the shadows...Dandi you will keep him at bay while I play with the Princess tonight."

Back by the Bridge

Thankfully when Tia returned to the bridge everyone seem to still be enjoying the night scenery as well as eating and drinking. Thinking of those earrings just further encouraged her to quickly get things underway but seeing Ishana openly flirting with Ajay made her heart nervously beat out of control. And when she saw Ishana still drinking that special tea made for Gauri her heart wanted to just leap out of her chest. Frantically trying to take away the teapot as well as Ishana's teacup only to make things worse.

"What are you doing? My throat is still dry! Did Princess Gauri tell you to come back for the tea?!"

"No Princess I figure the tea is cold by now..let me prepare you a new warm pot."

Unwilling to let go of her cup that already had tea in it only resulted in Ishana being more annoyed. "Let go!"

Afraid that her actions were out of bounds Tia quickly let go causing the tea to spill onto Ishana's chest.

"You!! Are you tired of living?!"

"I am so sorry Princess! Forgive me!"

Riddhima could not believe the embarrassment that was taking place. Not only have her little sister ignore all her queues of warning but now her yellow dress was drenched in tea making the entire area transparent. Trying to stand up quickly to throw a towel over her little sister's chest only to have Ajay take the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Using both his hands as he uses the towel to mask his real intentions Ajay couldn't believe how well endowed Ishana was and seeing her lips part as his fingers lightly groped her entire right breast made him want her even more.

"Here Princess..seems like there is a bit more here."

Riddhima was in shock how Ishana was not rejecting any of Ajay's advances tonight. "Ishana!"

Seeing how angry Riddhima was getting at his little brother Veer quickly pulled Ajay away "Brother stop. The Princess has her own maid it is unsightly for you to help her."

Seeing Riddhima breathe out a sigh of relief Veer hooked up his lips towards his brother. "Since it is not early I think I will head back and rest since The King and Queen has the day plan to sightsee."

As Veer stood up to leave but not before looking towards his brother and smiling and Ajay had gotten the message loud and clear.

"Well the night is still young...lets enjoy the rest of this barrel of wine before calling an end to this wonderful night."

Seeing that Samarjeet was still drinking and eating Riddhima couldn't rejects Ajay's suggestion.

"As you wish Prince. But first I think I must send my sister back to change out her spoilt dress."

Bringing the wine to his lips as he takes another long look at Ishana "I will wait..."

Signally a maid and guard to escort Ishana back to change Riddhima took this opportunity to whisper in her ear "Snap out of it Ishana! Use this time to clear your head!"

Nudging her big sister annoyingly out of the way "I will see all of you real soon. Do wait for me."

As she saw Ishana leave Riddhima took the maid aside "You do not let her return here! Put her to bed!"

Nodding her head at the angered Crown Princess afraid to not be able to live another day if she did not listen the little maid quickly shuffled Ishana away leaving Tia to be the one to continue tok pour wine for Ajay who was more than thrilled to keep drinking. Carefully taking another of the same pill Svetlana had her put in his wine glass earlier from her waistband Tia slipped it into Ajay's cup while she was pouring more wine. And seeing Ajay happily gulp it down made her jump for joy inside as the thought of those earrings being hers.

The maid and the guard was trying their best to hurry Ishana back to her courtyard and hopefully by then she would be so exhausted that she would just fall asleep since it seem that the Princess was already unable to even walk straight.

"Isn't that Bhavya? Gauri's head maid? What is she doing carrying two buckets of hot water?"

Gauri knew that sooner or later Ishana would have to walk pass her courtyard in order to return to hers so she purposely had Bhavya wait precisely at this moment for Ishana to see her.

"Hey you! Why are you in such a rush late at night? Shouldn't Gauri have had her bath by now?"

Pretending as if she was trying to hide something Bhavya started to stammer "uh..no..no..this is ....nothing Princess...I must go."

"Stop! Tell me!"

"I can't Princess!"

When Ishana saw that Bhavya kept looking at the maid and the guard that was assigned to escort her she quickly told them to leave.

"But Princess....the Crown Princess told us to take you back.."

"Do not aggravate me any further! You two leave now or else!"

Afraid of Ishana's vengeful nature the two quickly left leaving Ishana to pressure Bhavya to talk.

"Now that they are gone...tell me! I will make it worth your while."

Taking of some of the jewelry she was already wearing and trying to give it to Bhavya "Here! Take it...now tell me what is your Princess up to this late at night."

Bhavya could tell that Ishana was no longer herself and that she must have drank too much of the spiked tea causing her to sway back and forth while trying to shove bangles and rings into her hands.

"Alright Princess...I will tell you."

Seeing a drugged Ishana hunker down to listen intently "Princess Gauri is going to wash the robe that belonged to the King of Mordis and he has said he will come to retrieve it alone...tonight."

"That slut! I knew she was seducing him all along!"

Seeing Ishana dash straight towards Gauri's room Bhavya couldn't help laughing inside as she quickly followed behind.

"Princess you mustn't!"

Curving up her lips the moment she heard Ishana yelling out her name.

"Gauri! Gauri! You slut!"

Seeing her wet disheveled look Gauri couldn't help but let out a disgusted laugh "Slut? You should really take one good look at thyself before accusing me."

Seeing Gauri just sitting there drinking her cup of god knows what made Ishana even more angrier.

"An ugly woman like you?! He would never touch you! Even in the dark!"

"Oh? And yet it was he who wanted to come here to retrieve the robe he lent me...while saving me...."

Seeing Ishana sit across from her and biting her lower lip made Gauri feel even happier inside.

"Don't embarrass yourself and leave! I will greet the King tonight!"

"But where will I go dear sister....it's so late in the night. And what if the King is angered seeing you instead of me?"

Laughing hysterically "Angered? He would be thrilled to see me instead!"

Leaning towards the center of the table pretending to whisper so that no one close by could hear "So you want me to give up my room to you for the night?"

"Yes! I want you to let me have your room for tonight."

And with a big smile Gauri opened up her fist and blew a powdering substance right into Ishana's face and when Bhavya saw her lose her balance she quickly came to grab hold.

"Put her on the bed and change her out of those clothes...we can't let her greet the Prince of Uthon like this."

Bhavya quickly did what she was told and soon she was now wearing Ishana's yellow dress. "Princess will you be okay without me?"

"Of course. Now Khanna is outside dressed as a typical Guard. Have him escort you back to Ishana's courtyard and make sure her people see you so that throughout the night they will assume she is sleeping inside. Only when daybreak do you return back here."

Nodding her head as she walks out the door where Khanna was waiting the two quickly left to play out their role leaving Gauri behind to wait.

Walking up to the table that held the candles Gauri took out a match to light them all "If the Queen's plan succeeds tonight dear sister then you can only blame her."

Changing out of her light blue dress and into her white night gown Gauri sat and waited till she finally heard Tia's voice.

"Princess are you still awake? The Queen wanted me to check on your condition one last time."

Hooking up her lips as she strides towards the door making sure her night gown was in disarray as she opens the door "I...I am fine...just a bit hot ...tell the Queen I will be alright." When Tia saw how Gauri was breathing as well as how red her cheeks were she knew that the candles have taken effect. "Rest up Princess. I bid you farewell."

Seeing Tia run in haste Gauri knew that she was going to fetch that letcherous Prince of Uthon who was very tired of waiting for Ishana to return.

Ajay: Where is the Princess? She said she would return.

Riddhima: I apologize Prince I just got word that the Princess was so exhausted that she has retired for the night. I think we should all call it a night.

Samarjeet was more then ready to return because talking to Riddhima all night has proved to be very boring. "Let me escort you back Princess."

Tia: I will take Prince Ajay back it seems in his condition he might get lost.

Looking as to how Ajay was very drunk Riddhima also agreed because the last thing she needed was this Prince causing any trouble during the night.

"Do you need a guard to help you?"

"No need. His place is not too far and it is best to have more guards by your side Crown Princess as the Prince is escorting you back."

Riddhima was very happy with Tia's thought process because she didn't need any rumors of her being escorted back by the Prince of Gopar alone...so the more people that surrounded her the better.

When she saw that everyone had finally left Tia quickly ushered a drunken Ajay towards Gauri's courtyard not knowing that someone had eyes on them the entire time.

Ranveer: "I better go tell the King..."

At first it was not so hard leading Ajay towards Gauri's direction but who would have expected that this letcherous Prince would be groping her the entire way. "Come...lets play together little maid." Trying her best to fight the prince off of her Tia finally made it to Gauri's door. "If the Prince wants to have fun you must go inside."

"Princess...Princess..."

When Tia heard Gauri reply with a moan her smile widen as she pushed Ajay inside and locked the door from outside. As she pressed her ears against the door to make sure everything was underway she heard Gauri yelp "Prince! What are you doing?....Stop..."

Seeing as to how she had finally succeeded Tia left to return back to the Queen. When Gauri sensed that Tia had finally left "I knew that maid was meticulous." Tia was no ordinary maid. She was highly trained and very clever..so clever that Gauri had to risk inhaling the candles so that she wouldn't suspect something else was going on. She could hear Ajay stumbling his way towards the bed as she herself hid behind a window curtain waiting for Khanna to come back and help her escape. She had specifically instructed Khanna to only come through the window when Tia left so that he could get Ajay to the bed without Gauri even having to touch such a vile man.

Gauri was getting a bit nervous because Ajay was stumbling everywhere and breaking everything and he was not even close to the bed where Ishana was laying. "Where is Khanna?" Soon she saw a black silhouette jumped from outside the window and grabbed Ajay by the throat.

"Khanna! Don't kill him!"

But when she got closer who she thought was Khanna was clearly none other than the King himself.

"You!"

Turning his head smiling with the throat of Ajay still in his grasp "Having fun without me Princess?"

Ajay didn't know what was happening as he struggled in midair to breathe only to have the King fling him onto the bed. Gauri could not believe what was happening. Where was Khanna?. But a sudden commotion outside her door startled her prompting her to grab Omkara to hide behind the curtains fearing that Tia had decided to comeback. And when he felt her hot hand against his lips to silence him he couldn't help but smile because he knew the people outside was Dandi keeping Khanna at bay while he played.

Her hot breath against his bare chest was nothing compared to what he was seeing with his own eyes. With the candles by the table flickering he could see that her white night gown was not securely buttoned revealing soft supple breasts that was now pushed up against his chest. But it didn't take long for Omkara to realize something odd was in the air. Her glossy eyes once again was staring back at him forcing him to take down that white veil. But when she dug her head into his chest and blocked her ears with her hands only then did he realize what was going on.

Gauri wanted to just strangle Omkara as she heard the tearing of clothes and the constant moaning coming from her bed and to top it off she had risk exposing herself to the candles to ensure everything would go as plan only to have her hide here with him. But when she felt him lift up her chin to stare into his eyes her fingers started to press harder onto his chest as she whispered. "The candles....."
