My heart skipped a beat when I heard the ladder creak. I look down the hall and see the attic ladder fall and open the attic. My breathing quickened and I took slow steps to the ladder. I wanted to go up there but I have to trust my boyfriend. I sighed and lifted the ladder back up and called my friends. Turns out they couldn't make it. Great I have a temptation I have to handle on my own.

Two days later..
These past two days have been torture. I have been literally holding myself down to not go up in the attic,it's just so tempting.
"Hey babe" said Jackson coming into the room. There was something different with him,I then got a look closer and saw red on his collar. I didn't want to make a thing of it so I just put my arms around him. But what is it? Is he cheating on me! No he wouldn't do that he loves me to much and anyways we're getting married and I'm pregnant with him child. I hate how this mystery is happening when I'm pregnant it's just so stressful and I have no one to talk to. I go on the tv and see the news that there was another murder. I was about to turn the to off when I heard Katie Gray. My twin sister. I began to cry my mother and my sister,what now my little brother?! All of a sudden something came to my mind. My brother is only 13 where is he?! He could be with my aunt or my nan or stepfather.

The next day..
I read the news once again and I began to shake. 13 year old boy found dead. That's when I realised that had to be max. I began to cry my family is falling apart. How has Jackson not noticed I'm hurting. I inhaled I forgot I had a checkup today. Better go now then later.
Once I got the to checkup centre I was almost immediately called in. I followed the nurse to the room and she asked me how I was doing.
"I'm doing fine"
The nurse took some of my blood and analysed it. She looked confused.
"Having stress are we? These blood levels aren't good for the baby you need to stop worrying about things,you're stressing the baby out"
I took a thought. She's right I need to stop stressing myself out it's not good for me or the baby. I need to stop this attic thing once and for all and-and..g-go up there.
After the checkup and went home. Jackson wasnt home and I sat on the sofa looking for something to watch. All of a sudden I heard a loud scream coming from the attic.
