Sloth loomed over the chimera Jaden as he roared, shaking the ground near them. Jaden ran up to Sloth but was grabbed and thrown to the ground. Sloth began landing blow after blow on Jaden before he rolled to a hiding spot. "Guess I can't go head on... I must sneak and strike when I get the chance..." He changed into a bat and flew up to Sloth quietly. When he got behind him, Jaden changed into his reptile form and slashed at the sins back ten times. Sloth roared in pain and ran backwards, slamming Jaden between him and the wall. Jaden fell to the ground and used his tail to swipe Sloth off his feet and succeeded. Jaden then attacked with slices with his claws before being bit in the ankle. Jaden screamed in pain and kicked Sloth off, mouth dripping from Jaden's blood. Jaden tried to take a step but collapsed, his right ankle was to painful to walk on. Sloth once more had the higher ground until Jaden got an idea.

The although poorly lit but bright torches were in the walls, so he grabbed one and burnt the wound sealing it while crying softly at the pain. He stood up and now winced softly at the pain, getting back in the fight. Jaden dashed and threw Sloth half way through the room. Sloth regained his ground by digging his claws into the ground. He cupped his hands, using the torn off rubble to throw at Jaden. Jaden blocked them with his arms, but when he did that a window of attacking was deployable. Sloth ran and sliced at his sides, but only cut the skin. Jaden winced and used his elbows and rammed them down on Sloth's neck. Sloth collapsed as he dug his nails in Jadens ankles. Jadens screams echoed as he kicked Sloth off and at full speed raised his foot as high as he could and slammed it on the sins head. Sloth vomited up a small ounce of blood  as he back flipped back on his feet. Jaden began an onslaught of punches. Sloth much later grabbed his fists and head butted His tail made jabs at Sloth, who quickly dodged each with lighting speed (isn't that an oxymoron? Sloth, sin  for laziness, is the fastest...) as he grabbed it and broke the tail. Jaden screamed in pain as he bit Sloth's left shoulder. It wasn't until that happened that Jaden succumbed to his beast soul take over. He turned into his Chimera form and relentlessly and brutally attacked Sloth. Once there was the smallest window of opportunity, Sloth grabbed Jaden's arm and dislocated it, making him scream. Sloth threw him to the ground and punched him over and over, Jaden's vision began to fade as remembered one of the best moments of his life, but... It might be his last as well.

Jaden and Trevor were riding a train as both stayed silent. While the train stopped, Jaden heard rumors about Trevor being a dark wizard or mercenary. "Trevor... Can I ask you something?" Jaden asked with a serious tone Trevor looked at him after looking out the window during the silence. "Hm? Oh sure." Trevor answered smiling. "Are you... A bad person? A evil wizard or mercenary?" Trevor's smile faded as he sighed. "Jaden, where ever you heard it is wrong, but... Remember this. Your ears and mind can be told what's right or not, but your heart can decide it." He said with a smirk. "I'll make sure we get into Fairy Tail, together. You got me?" Jaden grinned and nodded, laughing softly.

The entire room was mute, except for the punches that hit Jaden. His eyes widened and then were filled with hope. He grabbed Sloth's fists and panted. Sloths eyes widened as Jaden head butted Sloth, making him bleed. "I won't die... I won't lose. I will save Trevor. I will save my friend!!!" He staggered and winced, but was determined to beat him. He ran to his opponent fast and changed his body over and over to use each version as a way to defeat Sloth. "I will beat you!!! For Trevor!!! For my friends!!! For Fairy Tail!!!!"when he finished, sending Sloth hurdling to the wall, rubble falling in the room. Sloth changed to his human form and was struggling to breath. "Th... Thank you... I'm finally able to stop hearing the noise.." Sloth smiles weakly and cries tears of joy.

"Ever since I met Wrath... The voices appeared and I wasn't able to control my other form... But now... I'm free..." Jaden's eyes widened. "N-no wait!!! Maybe we can keep you alive!!" He held Sloth's soft but slightly limp hand. "No... If I live, the other side can take over... Here... Only me and Wrath have this power..." Suddenly a bright glow went through Sloths's right arms veins and into Jaden. "I know that you can control it... What is your name?" Jaden wiped away his tears. "J-Jaden Kallow..." "Would you like to be my friend?" Jaden nodded as Sloth smiled more, wincing in pain by doing so. "Okay... Good bye Jaden Kallow... My only friend..." Sloths life flashed before his eyes.

Samuel lived a happy life. He was under a lot of watch and protection however, but he was happy. He had temper tantrums that led to him being in his monstrous form. It wasn't until he was 11 that a man with acid green hair, red eyes, and wearing armor went up to him. There was no one but those two as the man put his hand on Sam's head. Suddenly, all these voices screaming bloody murder and wouldn't stop. That man was Wrath, and Samuel became Sloth. Wrath always offered Sloth a way to get rid of the voices but never did. Sloth was a beast who only wished for silence... But how... Thanks to his friend, he can.
