Sidharth pov:

I woke up when the morning sunrise hit my face. I looked at the clock and it was 9:00 Am. Damn!! I checked my phone and there are 10 missed calls from Sanjana. I'm dead now. Yesterday, I had promised her that I would take her out for shopping. I told her that I would pick her up from her place.

Sid!! You are dead today. Dig the ground and bury yourself. I got up and immediately dialed to her. She picked up the call for the first ring.

"Sid!! Where the hell are you?" I heard her screaming from the other end. God!! she is hell angry.

"Hey bud!! I'm really sorry. I woke up late. Give me some time. I'll get fresh up and I'll come" I said in one go.

"No need to come. I'm coming to your place better get ready by that time or else you will be dead" she warned me and it brought a smile on my face. This happens every time. Even when she is threatening her voice will be so cute like pikacho's voice. I just like her voice.

"Are you there?" her voice brought me back.

"Yeah!! I'll get ready. Bye" I said and hung the call.

 I quickly rushed into the washroom and did my morning chores. I got ready in few minutes and went down. I went to the kitchen and boiled some eggs for me. Suddenly, I heard the door bell ringing. Who is this? Sanjana will never ring the bell. She will come without any warning. I walked towards the door and opened it. I saw a man and he was showing his back to me. He was on a phone call. He turned towards me and gave me a smile.

"Sidharth??" he asked raising his eye brows.

"Yes of course. Who are you ?" I asked in return.

"Vachan. I'm Vachan Mehra" he said extending his hand. What? Sid, you heard it wrong. Ask him again. You heard it wrong. He is not VACHAN. He is not Aditi's Vachan. Suddenly, everything which I was hiding from the past few months started to flash in front of me. My eyes were blurred as I couldn't control my tears.

"Hey!! Are you okay?" I heard his voice. He was looking at me with concern.

"What do you want?" I asked him with all my strength.

"I need to talk to you. Please give me few minutes" he asked me.

"About what?" I asked.

"About our lives. About your best friend" he said.

"Lives? Who's life? I'm having a peaceful life here far away from all. And my best friend? I'm least bothered about her. She is not my best friend any more" I said holding back my tears.

"Seriously?" he asked entering inside.

"Hey!! just get out. I don't want to see your face again" I shouted out of my lungs.

"You don't bother her. She is nothing to you right?" he asked sitting on the couch and I remained silent.

"Then why the tears are coming from your eyes? You can lie to me sid but you can't lie to yourself" he said and I decided to give up.

"What do you want to talk?" I asked sitting in front of him.

"Are you happy ,Sid? Don't you miss her?" he asked me and I lowered my eyes.

"I don't know about you man but she is not happy there. She is missing you like hell" he said and I lifted my head.

"Why is she not happy when you are there? Why will she miss me when I'm nothing to her?" I asked.

"You are her best friend man" he said.

"Do you know what exactly happened that night?"

"That day, I came to the pub to propose her and announce everyone that she is the love of my life but our fate decided something for us"

"I saw you kissing her and you know what happened then? I completely misunderstood her and broke her heart. You know I even agreed to marry another girl as I was so angry with you both. I thought she betrayed me but in reality I betrayed her, you betrayed her" he said and his eyes turned red. He was in an edge to burst out.

"I left her, Sid. She went to England to study further. Being a stupid, I thought she came for you and she is having a happy life with you. I tried to move on with my fiancee but you know it was really hard for me. Every second without Twinkle was like hell for me. Trust me, those fucking three months are the worst days of my life. And one day, I came to know the truth that I was the only love of her life. You know what, she wrote a dairy about me"

"I was really an idiot back then, she used to write the dairy in front me but I couldn't realize that she was writing about her feelings for me"

"She never told me that she loved me, Sid, She never did "

"I'm sorry, Vachan. I shouldn't have kissed her that day. I'm really sorry. I was the reason for your misunderstandings" I said holding back my tears.

"I want her happiness Vachan and her happiness lies with you so I left her that day. And not only that, I was broken completely. I never expected that she is in love with you. It just broke my heart. I couldn't show my face to her any more so I decided to stay away from you both so I came here" I said.

"We both loved her and guess what we did ? we left her alone" he said trying to smile.

"So? What happened ? Did she accepted you? Are you both happy?" I asked and he gave me a blank expression.

"Nope!! I lost her that day itself. I'm just trying to get her back" he said and I lowered her eyes.

"But one day, she will come to me and that day will be the best day of my life" he said smiling.

"I hope that day will come soon" I said with a smile. All I want is Aditi's happiness and I'm ready to any thing for it.

"Her happiness lies with you too, Sid. She needs you man. She needs her best friend" he said breaking my thoughts.

"I can't. . . . I just can't show my face to her, Vachan" I said shacking my head.

"It's not your mistake Sid. Loving someone is not a mistake and don't feel guilty about it. Let's end this Sid. Your friend needs you and I need your friend. She is the love of my life" he said and that brought smile on my face.

"Where is she now? I asked smiling. Yeah, I decided to meet her. I too need my best friend badly. She is the only one with whom I can share anything. I just need her. That's all.

"INDIA" he said.

"I'm coming with you, bro" I said giving him a tight hug.

"Thank you man" he whispered in my ears.

"Thanks to you too for giving my best friend back" I said.

"What's going on here?" I heard a female voice. SANJANA!! I broke the hug and looked at her. She was looking at me with a weird expression.

"Hey Sanjana, meet Vachan" I introduced Vachan to her.

"Vachan!! You mean Aditi's lover" she said and I nodded.

"Hi Sanjana" Vachan said extending his hand.

"Hello!!" she said giving a hand shake.

"What is he doing here?" she asked.

"I'll explain you later. Bro!! You take rest for some time. I'll just go and pack my stuff" I said and made my ways to my room.

"Come with me. I'll explain" I said and dragged Sanjana along with me. I went to my room and closed the door.

"Where are you going?" she asked blocking my way.

"India!!" I said taking my trolly from the cupboard

"What? Sid, I'm not going to tolerate this. Why the hell are you going there?" she asked.

"I need my best friend, Sanj. I can't stay here any more" I said packing my clothes.

"Seriously? she hurted you once then why are you going there?" she asked.

"No reason. I have to go and meet her" I said smiling.

"I'm coming with you then" she said shocking me.

"What? why?" I asked.

"I don't want to leave my best friend" she said folding her hands across her chest.

"No no no.. you are not coming there buddy" I said.

"I don't want you to be sad, Sid and when you see her with Vachan you will definitely be sad so take me with you I'll be your entertainment and I'll make sure that you will be happy" she said smiling, blinking her long eye lashes.

"Your wish" I said smiling and she crashed me with a hug.

"Thanks buddy!! I will go to my place then. Pick me, okay" she said and I nodded.

"Shall we leave?" Vachan asked me and I nodded.

"Bro!! we need to pick up Sanjana she is also coming with us" I said.

"Is she your girl friend?" he asked shocking me.

"God!! hell no. She is my friend" I said and he smiled. Soon, we went to her place and she hopped into the car. Then we went to the airport and boarded the flight. I sat next to Vachan and he was looking at his phone with a smile.

"What happened?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Tell me bro" I said and he smiled.

"I got a text from Karan saying that Twinkle is worrying about me. She even called my Ex to find out whether I was with her. Funny right? She loves me but she won't accept it" he said with a smile.

"She is really lucky to get you, Vachan. Just take care of her" I said.

"She is lucky to get you too, man" he said patting my shoulder.

Soon we reached India and my heartbeat started to raise. I don't know how she will react. We walked towards the exit and I saw her waiting for us. My legs were rooted and all my memories with her started to flash in front of me.

"What happened?" Sanjana asked.

"Aditi!!" I said and my eyes got blurred.

"Do you really want to do this, Sid?" she asked and I nodded. I walked towards her and stood in front of her.

She looked at me with her eyes wide open. She took few seconds to realize that I was really standing in front of her. She collapsed on her knees and started crying like a baby. God!! Her tears. I can't see them.

I walked towards her and knelt on my knees.

"Shh... Don't cry Aditi. Your best friend is back" I said consoling her. She cried her heart out and looked at me with red eyes.

"I'm sorry" I couldn't say anything more. Her tears are making me weak.

"I'm sorry too" she said and hugged me.

"For what? You never did wrong. I was the who misunderstood. I thought you were having a happy life with Vachan so I didn't show up. I'm really sorry for kissing you that day and leaving you all alone. Give me any punishment. I'm ready to take" I said in one go.

"Punishment? You don't deserve it,Sid" she said and gave me a smile.

"Now get up. I guess we are making a scene" I said looking around and everyone's eyes are on us. She wiped her tears and got up.

Vachan pov:

Mission accomplished!! I'm really happy today. I gave what Twinkle wanted and that's makes me a real lover. I just want to show how much I love her and how much I can do for her happiness.

"Thanks Vachan!!" I heard Sanaja's voice.

"For?" I asked turning towards her.

"For clearing the misunderstanding between them. I never saw him smiling like this. You did a great thing" she said smiling.

"Shall we go home?" I heard Sid's voice.

"Yeah" I said looking at Twinkle. She was about to speak but I interrupted her.

"I'm hell tired guys. I need rest" I said with a weak smile and we all walked towards the exit. I decided to ignore Twinkle for awhile. I want to test her patience level. I hopped into the car and sat next to Twinkle. Sid and Sanjana took the back seat. Twinkle started driving and I can feel her eyes on me . I know she wanted to talk to me but I won't talk to her for awhile.

We reached the place and it was 4:00 Am. Ever one are asleep. Aditi showed guest rooms to both of them and they both took the leave. I went to my room and took a quick shower. I got dressed up in sweet pants and sat on my bed. My eyes fell on the bedside table. Something is missing. DAIRY!! where is it? It should be somewhere here. I thought and started searching the entire room. 

I searched the entire room but I didn't find it. I raked my hair with frustration. Suddenly, I heard Twinkle's voice.

"Are you . . .?" she started and I turned towards her. I saw the dairy in her hands and relief engulfed me.

"Where is it?" I asked taking a deep breathe.

"Take it" she said and turned to leave.

"What happened?" I asked and caught her hand.

"This should be asked by me. You are ignoring me right? carry on. I'm not going to say anything" she said folding her hands across her chest and that brought a smile on my face.

"You are laughing now. How can you laugh when I'm angry?" she asked and started hitting me with her little hands.

"Hey!! I'm not laughing yaar. I just gave a smile" I said trying to hold her hands.

"You are ignoring me. What have I done?" she asked beating me with pillows. I caught the pillow and pulled it towards me so that Twinkle would settle in my arms. I held her by the waist and pulled her close to me.

"Leave me now" she shouted.

"Never ever" I said shacking my head and she rested her head on my chest.

"Thank you for everything" she whispered and I kissed her forehead.

"Love you, cupcake" I said.

" I Love. . ." she stopped her words as she realized what is she saying. She bit her tongue and hid her face in my shirt.

"Don't worry baby. I will wait till you feel comfortable" I said and hugged her tightly.
