Hello!
Hey :')
How did you discover Wattpad?
I had been reading a novel on a site called quotev. During the fifteenth Chapter, the author announced that she will be continuing the story on Wattpad and not quotev, and attached a link to it. That was the first time I'd heard of Wattpad, and I clicked on the link just because I loved her story so much. And tada! She deleted her story, and I was left with a Wattpad account and a billion other stories to read xx
Do you enjoy being on Wattpad?
Of course. I'm online to the level that its unhealthy, but then again, which true wattpader isn't? Its probably not wise to check my notifications every five minutes of the day, and it doesn't help that I've got over 300 books in my library in just the past few months, but eh - it'll be a guilty please until I find myself a life.
What's your favourite Wattpad story?
Pick one? Oh my, that's like asking me to choose between pizza and ice cream. The only decision harder than that is deciding the value of x in my Math class. For now I'll answer with The Black Knight by Megan Lockheart xx one Chapter and I had fallen in love xx
Your story Because of Morté has over 7,000 reads. What is it about?
Oh those butterflies that come with the mention of the name of my book - true author's emotions. Well for quite sometime I had an obsession with 'making a deal with the devil' and Percy Jackson. So I wondered what it'd be like to put the two together? Well, sort of. Rider Morte is the son of Hades, bearing the average duties of being a demigod. One of those duties, was Abella Fosters - a mere soul caught in afterlife struggling to accept the fact that she had been murdered. Not that I know what it feels like, but I assume the greatest desperation after being murdered is to find the bastard (excuse my language) that caused it. Add the two together, she makes a deal with the devil, adamant to find the true story of how she was murdered, despite what the cops have to say. Its afterlife meets death - literally. As for the Romance, naturally - he was still and boy, and she was still a girl - so naturally, they fall in love. (Yes, I just quoted Dorm Room 201 by Nicole Kaps)
What inspired you to write Because of Morté?
In simpler words - The Percy Jackson series, A Spanish movie, An overpowering sugar rush and A sexy picture of Sean O'Pry.
What advice would you give to new users?
Well for one, you would have to be luckier than a golden baby born with a diaper made of pure diamonds to get all those votes and comments on your first story when you're starting out. Just hang in there - it comes eventually. Secondly, socialize and keep reading! You're not a wattpader unless you're addicted. And lastly, Dont forget to go back to your first Chapter and re-read it just to make sure you weren't completely crap at this when you began. Its not easy to rewrite a book if that's the case - believe me, I know.
Do you have a message for your readers?
Sure, why not :) Dear readers, for those of you free riding and not clicking on that simple star button until it turns golden, please start voting. I'm more expensive than this, my pride is cruelly injured and its just not nice. Kidding of course - well, sort of. Haha I just hope that despite the fact that the story is completely fictional, people realize the faults of humanity I have expressed. Rider Morté's views about humanity is mine, and I hope people see its meaning instead of brushing it off as something witty that the hot protagonist thinks.
