Ash had introduced his friends to Delia and he was just now collapsing on his old bed. Pikachu was right beside him. "Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu tells Ash. Ash leans up to scratch Pikachu under his chin.

"I hear you, buddy. Should we see our loves soon?" Ash questioned Pikachu. Pikachu thought about it and so did Ash. We just got back, so maybe, we can crash here for a while. Ash thought. He didn't want to leave home, not for another few months, anyway. 

"Pika, Pikachu." Pikachu softly answers Ash. Ash grins at Pikachu's answer. 

"That's exactly how I feel, buddy." Ash answers Pikachu, who smiled at his trainer. The two males fell asleep and they slept the night away. The next morning, Ash was holding up his first journey's jacket. Pikachu leaped onto Ash's shoulder, nuzzling his neck. "Boy, this takes me back. This old thing doesn't even fit me anymore. I can't believe that I grew taller. " Ash tells Pikachu. I want to wear this, but I love my current outfit. He thought. He gazed over the wears and tears that his old jacket had and he smiled at the early memories of his very first journey.

"Pika. Pika." Pikachu cried out happily. Ash smirks at Pikachu.

"Okay, Pikachu, we're going to train everyone. We won't loose to Tobias like last time." Ash reassures his partner and Pikachu cries out softly. They went downstairs to eat breakfast with Delia and they went off to Professor Oak's lab to train all of Ash's pokemon. Because of the training, Bulbasaur evolved two times and he reached Venasaur- his final stage. Squirtle did the same thing, reaching Blastoise. Charizard is at his max power and level. Pigeot came back and she reached her max power due to training while she was in the wild protecting the other bird pokemon. Butterfree came back with his mate and they both had gotten stronger. Tauros, Kingler, Muk and Primeape (who came back from his training) had gotten so much stronger.

All of his pokemon had evolved into their final stages and they had become so much stronger due to the hard training that Ash had them endure. "Hey, Ash, want to battle? Scyther vs Torkoal?" Gary suggested. 

Ash smirked. "Sure. Torkoal, return!" Torkoal happily went back into his pokeball. Professor Oak was already outside and so, he decided to judge the battle.

"The battle between Scyther and Torkoal will begin! The battle will be over when one pokemon on either side can't go on. Battle begin!" He shouted, officially starting the battle. 

"Scyther, battle time!" Gary calls out his green Bug and Flying type pokemon.

"Torkoal, I choose you!" Ash throws out his Fire-type pokemon. 

"Quick Attack!" Gary orders Scyther. Scyther obeyed his order, however, the attack didn't land because Torkoal dodged it without being ordered to by Ash. Ash smirked while Gary was just impressed with Ash's increased skill. 

"Overheat!" Ash ordered and Torkoal used the powerful Fire-type attack on Scyther. The Buy-type pokemon tried to dodge the attack, but the flames had ensnared it. The flames ate up Scyther, but when the flames had disappeared, Scyther had looked like it had been burnt. The pokemon fainted and Gary wasn't upset by his loss at all. He recalled his fainted pokemon and he grinned at his childhood friend.

"Man, you are awesome! I'm glad you're still willing to beat Tobias." Gary spoke to Ash and Ash smirked at his friend. 

"Of course! I won't quit until my last breath escapes me." Ash was honest to Gary and Gary loved that he was honest with him. Because they are best friends, they are glad that they could trust each other with their secrets.
