CHAPTER48: DAY04 IN INDIA

Anika: Ami, can we leave early?
Damien: I need to check with the airlines. What is it? Are you okay?
Anika: No, I'm not okay. Let's go pick Pierce and Bhai
Damien: Baby, what is it? Can I do something?
Ryder: Don't waste time Damien, she doesn't look good take her home maybe Aiden could tell you about it?
Damien: Come, baby, sit comfortably.
Anika: Ami, can you push the seat behind my back it hurts.
Anika made a crying face while Damien helped her to lie down.
Damien drove as quickly as he could and brought them back, seeing the agitation on his face his bodyguards went on high alert.
Anika: I'm going to shower can you call Bhai and tell him about everything
Damien nodded while Anika left the room.

Aiden and Pierce's room:

Damien: Aiden, can you come to our room, Anika is calling you.
Aiden: Sure, let's go. And Aiden left for their room.
Damien: Pierce I've already talked with the airlines pack your bags we're leaving today for Shimla. Call the office and tell them to keep the penthouse ready.
Pierce: Okay, but why the emergency?
Damien: You must be ready and tell the guards the same.

Damien's room:

Aiden: Athenaa... I called her when I felt her calling me from the bathroom.
Anika: Bhai, we need to leave from here, it's inauspicious for me to stay here.
Arjun: Did you get it or not?
Anika: Not yet, but I'm sure it will be there by tomorrow.
Arjun: I could feel the cramps and discomfort you are feeling and I could tell we need to leave today itself.
Anika: I said the same to Damien and we're going to Shimla until it ends.
Arjun: Okay, are you ready to come out? I'm here only.
Soon Anika came out wrapped in a towel and Arjun picked her up placed her on the bed and covered her with a duvet.
Anika: Bhai, Damien?
Arjun: He was talking with Pierce while I came here. Should I get comfortable clothes for you to change in?
Anika nodded slowly while Arjun rummaged through her closet and got her a soft yellow dress and panties.
Arjun: Come on panda, get up or do you want me to dress you?
Anika: Please, I would have asked Damien but I don't know where he is.
Arjun dressed her quickly and wiped her wet hair, covering her with a duvet and setting the room temperature he left to get some food and painkillers for her.

Damien came a while later, and Arjun left her to rest.
Damien: Baby, see who I got?
Damien had brought a cutie pie who was Nia's relative's son, a few months toddler who had grown attached to him and Athena.
To which Anika grunted in reply and snuggled into the pillow.

Damien: Okay baby seems your favourite aunt is tired, you also sleep beside her till then I'll get a shower, then we will play okay? The toddler nodded to his rambling.

He gently placed the baby next to Anika, surrounding them with soft pillows for extra comfort and security, before stepping away to take a quick shower.

A few minutes later...

Damien came out of the shower the scene in front of him shocked him to the core. The cute little toddler had somehow got a tight grip on one of Anika's boobies and was trying to suck hard. After a few tries when he didn't reach his desired destination, he grabbed the skin in between and continued his work to which Anika moaned slowly.

Anika: Uh... Ami... please, take it slow...

As Anika's gentle voice reached him, Damien was pulled from his thoughts. He noticed the toddler in his arms, who regarded him with an expression that mingled irritation and confusion for having interrupted him.

Damien: Hey there, little buddy, I know you're upset, but that belongs to me. We need to get you back to your mom for your snack. Just then, he spotted Arjun approaching with a plate of food, a hint of understanding in his eyes.

Arjun: Hey Damien, I've prepared some food for you and Anika. I'll make sure this little champ gets to his mother safely. Once you're finished, just let me know—I've arranged for the jet, and we can head out.

Damien: I appreciate it, Arjun. Thank you for taking care of this little one. I'll keep you updated and call you as soon as I'm done. Arjun smiled looking at the two of them glaring at each other.

Back in the room:

Ryder: Did you notice what that little one was up to?

Damien: I did, and I can't help but feel frustrated with Athena. Why wasn't she stepping in to stop him?

Ryder: Perhaps she didn't realize it wasn't us. It seems like she's a bit overwhelmed.

Damien: It's time to wake her up gently.

"Mia, sweetheart, it's time to rise," he whispered in her ear, pressing a tender kiss on her shoulder. She responded with a smile, snuggling closer to him for warmth and comfort.

Ryder: We're already blessed with a little one; why would we want to add another to our family?

Damien gently lifted Anika into his arms, and she instinctively cuddled closer, feeling the warmth of his heart. As he tenderly adjusted her clothes, Anika sighed softly, a response to his gentle touch, and Damien couldn't help but smile, appreciating the connection they shared.

"Wake up, my dear," he whispered affectionately, his voice filled with warmth.

Anika: Good morning, Damien, she murmured as she snuggled closer to him, seeking the warmth and comfort only he could provide.

Damien couldn't help but smile at her thoughtful gesture, a warm wave of affection washing over him. He instinctively pulled her closer, savouring the moment and feeling a profound connection that seemed to draw them even nearer.

Damien gently shook Anika, his voice soft and caring, "Sweetheart, it's nighttime now, not morning. We need to get ready to leave after dinner."

Anika stirred awake, her eyes fluttering open as she instinctively wrapped her arms around her lower abdomen, feeling a wave of discomfort from her movement. She leaned into Damien, seeking comfort and reassurance in his presence.

Damien gently wrapped his arms around Mia, concern etched on his face. 'Mia, are you okay?' he asked softly, applying gentle pressure to the area where she was hurt, hoping to ease her pain and bring her some comfort.
