Who Am I To Judge

The main difference between a lot of upstanding citizens and most convicted felons, is the fact that the felons were arrested and convicted. While upstanding citizens continue to commit crimes and look down their noses at the felons. While upstanding citizens literally sit in judgement of the soon to be convicted felons. In spite of their own felonious deeds...

Sure, not all who judge are guilty of hypocrisy. There are some who are completely righteous and upstanding people, in the judicial system. Who have never, ever, even gotten a parking ticket. Who look down their noses at those who have been convicted...

There are some upstanding, righteous, law abiding, tax paying citizens who have never, ever committed a single crime in their lives. Yet, they are convicted felons. Incarcerated in a penal system that is just as corrupt, if not more corrupt, as our judicial system...

To say the least, justice systems in general are flawed!!!

Jury tampering...

Human error...

Misidentification...

Misinformation...

Malfeasance...

Race baiting...

Witness intimidation...

Sometimes, just plain injustice...

The concept of people judging people, is absolutely wrong from the onset!!!

I have never been tried or convicted. I pray that I never am forced to face twelve of my so called peers. Peers who might convict me based on their feelings instead of the actual facts. Facts which may or may not be in evidence...

Just as much, I would hate to have to sit in judgement of another person. As if I were some court appointed God image. As if I had the right to pass judgment on another. Especially on someone who may be innocent. But the evidence makes it appear that they are guilty...

With so much corruption in  judicial systems these days, maybe it is the defunct judicial systems that should be judged???

Tried and convicted!!!

But then again...

Who am I to judge???
