Iris's POV

It was September 5 1864 jk it was Feburary 5 2018 and me and my brother Tyler were on the run he was a hybrid, which means he's vampire and werewolf, I could be a werewolf bit its a curse and the price is that I have to kill someone to become a werewolf . That's a no on the werewolf plan. I will have to stay human for now. And that's how I like it. The whole werewolf thing kind of freaks me out. Tyler is very good at it but me, I wouldn't be good at it. I mean to turn you have to break every bone in your body. I have to be very careful of what i do so I can't hurt anybody, cause if I do then I activated the curse and that's not something that I want to do.

"Iris where the hell did you go"

"Relax I'm right here Tyler, don't get your tail in a bunch."

"Haha super funny, sis."

"I know I come up with the best jokes to make fun of you doggy boy, Tyler do you think that I'll ever activate the curse by accident like you did."

"Iris you need to stop worrying about that. Just relax an- .. Um oh yeah I forgot to tell you Caroline is coming over later on."

"Ewww Tyler's girlfriend gross. J.K I like Caroline she's cool how fast she runs. I wish I had super hearing so I can listen to you two talk about sappy love stuff that weirdo couples do."

"Hi Tyler, whats up Iris." I waved then when I looked over at my brother who had a look that said, GET OUT. So I left my brother and his creepy vampire girlfriend that he bit once - long story. When I went to my "room" I called my friend who I haven't seen in 7 years.

"Hey Paris, Its me Iris and I have no one to talk to because Tyler's girlfriends here, there downstairs doing who knows what.

"Yeah now's not a very good time we just got found, me and Damon are packing things up and heading out of town.''

"Oh My Gosh you guys should totally stay here with us, of course our house is big enough we could like actually see each other."

"Iris that's a ............. terrible idea, me and Damon have already been to that town and if they see us again, were screwed."

" Oh right sorry what was I thinking, It sounded like I was trying to get you killed."

" Wait Iris have you already activated the curse, who did you kill and how did you kill that person, IRIS why didn't you tell me I'm so....... proud of you"

" Wait, what no Paris I didn't activate the curse or kill anyone, why would I suffer, the consequences are fatal and I don't want to be chained up all night, while I break every bone in my body over and over and over and ov-

" OK I get it, not a werewolf yet ok.

"I got to go i hear footsteps and if there going to his room them i can finally get something to eat."

"Alright bye Paris". I hung up the phone and went down stair. Tyler's door was locked and I'm not going down that road again. Before I could grab a snack I was punched and knocked out. I Woke up to be chained up and my feet handcuffed together in the back of what it looked to be a very trash car with no windows. Animals. The driver had a mask on. Am-mature. he was wearing a very long dress I'm guessing. Is he ok ? The handcuff were an illusion because they were ones that you find in the store for $8. i slipped them off and grabbed the steering wheel, The driver opened the door and jumped out of the car. I suddenly realized that I was in control of the car, then slammed the breaks. Running to the driver his head was dripping blood. i checked for a pulse and there was nothing, he was dead. I killed him. Suddenly there was pain throughout my whole body. As I opened my eyes they were gold and light brown. What had just happened to me.
