I jump out of the car and race up the pathway and ring the bell twice. Olivia opens the door with a smile.
"Hey, what's up?" She asks me as she lets me in and I give her a nod in reply and rush up the stairs.
"Where you going bro?" A hand grabs mine holding me in place.
"What do you want?" I ask pulling my hand away from him.
"Woah, woah, what's with the enemity in your voice?" Wyatt asks throwing his hands up in the hair.
I shrug and stare at the space above his head.
"I just want to talk." Wyatt adds when I don't move.
"Sure. Talk." I add.
"In the garden." With that he turns around and leaves.

"I thought we were best friends."
Oh yea, we were until you went ahead and stole Natalie.
"When did we even grow apart?" He continues.
Oh? When you decided that I wasn't important anymore.
"You like Aria, don't you?" He asks the million dollar question.
I shrug. "So do you." I add.
"Yea just because we like the same girl doesn't mean that we should stop being best friends." He tells me giving the perfect picture of an innocent kid.
I shrug again.
"Come on bro, I thought it was bros before hoes!" His voice had risen by an octave.
Huh? Hoes before bros? Pretty sure he didn't think of that when he stole Makayla or Holly from me.
"Aria. Is. Not. A. Hoe." I grit out and now it's his turn to shrug.
"I thought the quote sounded cool - obviously I didn't mean it literally." He deadpans.
"So friends?" He thrusts his hand out for me to shake.
"You're giving up?" I ask quirking up an eyebrow, genuinely surprised.
He shakes his head. "I want us to be friends again but that's doesn't mean I am giving up on Aria."
"I won't force Aria to like me. It'll be upto Aria to choose who she likes." Wyatt continues.
I stare at Wyatt for a second - black hair, fair skin, goes to the gym thrice a week, tall and lanky, dimple.
He has that ruggish look that everyone craves - that innocent look? Even the teachers like him.
I shake hands with him and flash him a smile.
I won't lose to him.
Not again.

Aria gasps and turns to look at me, surprise evident on her face.
"Hasn't your father taught you to knock?" The annoying but cute kid called Keagon asks me.
"You are using the quote wrong kid. It's 'Hasn't your mother taught to knock?' " I deadpan and Keagon rolls her eyes.
"Oh? I didn't know only mothers were supposed to teach basic etiquette," She mumbles and then goes on to tell something about me being a "sexist batard"
And she's supposed to be five?
Doesn't even knows to pronounce 'bastard' and she's calling me a sexist?
I stick my tongue out at her and she rolls her eyes at me.
"Can you like leave? I want to talk to Aria." I tell her when she doesn't get the memo even after I stare at her.
"I actually thought you were a half decent guy." Keagon mutters. "I am going to the bathroom."
And with that she disappears.
"Sorry about that," Aria waves a hand. "Keagon can be a bit extra."
I shrug and Aria turns back to the mirror and continues to poke her eye with a stick with wings.
"So... Did you like the date?" I ask.
She turns back to look at me and quirks an eyebrow.
"I already told you twice that I liked the date and would like to do it sometime again." She laughs. "You forgot already?"
"I like you." I blurt out before I can back out.
She stares at me for a few seconds before blood rushes to her cheeks.
"Um-Oh." She stutters.
"Do you like me or not?"
She quirks an eyebrow at me. "I wouldn't have gone out with you if I hated you."
"Be my girlfriend." I blurt out. Aria's eyes widen comically and takes two steps away from me.
"We went on one date - that doesn't mean I have to be your girlfriend!" he exclaims and I take a step towards her.
"Why not? I like you and you like me back so..." I shrug at the end to make my point.
"We went on one date Felix. I don't even know you properly, not even the basic stuff like - your favourite colour, food, dream wedding destination, your dislikes - nothing! I literally know nothing about you." She laughs at the end.
"Violet, shawarma, Venice and I hate it when people break my trust." I answer smoothly and she quirks an eyebrow up.
"You really came all planned didn't you?" She takes a step towards me.
"Yea. So be my girlfriend now."
"I still don't know much about you." She persists and I roll my eyes.
"You really are stubborn aren't you?"
"Yea." She winks.
"Okay... Be my half - girlfriend then."
"Half-what? What does that even mean?" She laughs out loud.
"Half girlfriend until you know me fully." I shrug for the millionth time and she wraps her arms around my neck pulling me close.
"Half girlfriend huh?" She muses into my ear.
"So be my half girlfriend?"
"Oki Dokie."
