THE EXAMS HAVE BEGUN, TAKE MY SHIT
One story I lost motivation to continue, two shorts from my writing corner
Silence Petals, Incomplete
Original Idea: The hermits meet Grian and NPG or Robo Grian still haven't decided
Nobody knew how it came to be, they just knew that. Once they were born, a flower was on their wrist. And more will bloom as time passes on.
It was beautiful mystery. One that a lot of people theorized about. Some of them comes up with the most out craziest theories while other chooses to believe in their religion. But of course, some remains as a nonbeliever to all of this and go on with their life.
Miss False Symmetry is one of these people. She didn't believed in any of the nonsense believers tried to feed her. Didn't believe in any of the outrageous theories people came up with, even when some of those theories became true to her. She just called them a coincidence. The flowers predicted her future? Coincidence. The flowers knew who she will become? Coincidence. The flowers knew who she will befriend? They're all coincidences! She'll say.
However, she was no doubt confused when she woke up with a wilted flower and a plastic snowdrop. But she just shrugged it off as new members for Season Six, not questioning why one was dead and the other was plastic. So she wasn't surprised when Xisuma asked for a server wide meeting. She just dropped off some useless items into her chest, prepared her elytra along with some rockets and took off.
By the time she reached the meeting place, a few other hermits can be seen. Namely the ones that live near the main island. "Hey Xisuma, what's up?" False asked, landing near the admin. She didn't noticed the surprised jumped Xisuma had upon hearing her voice. He turned around her and gave her an awkward smile, not that she could see it.
"Falsie!" Xisuma chuckled, turning away from the blonde hermit. "Not much. You?" "Ehh," False answered, shrugging, "Two interesting flowers bloomed on my arm today." Xisuma physically tensed up at her mentioning flowers. He awkwardly chuckled, he took off his helmet to reveal two more flowers there. When False took a closer look, she noticed there were the exact wilted flower and plastic snowdrop on her arm. She smiled, feeling smug and thinking that she was right, "Soo...." She showed off the flowers on her arm, her grin larger on her face, "We're getting new members?"
Xisuma narrowed his brows nervously, giving the woman and awkward smile, "I'll explain once everyone gets here." She titled her head at Xisuma behavior, worried about the male. She gave him a worried smile, "Okay Xy. Just don't stress yourself out too much."
She walked towards the Iskall, Mumbo and Ren, completely missing Xisuma's "I'll try!" in favor of talking to the others.
They were talking about the two new flowers when the other hermits arrived. Each asking Xisuma about the meeting and him replying that he prefers to talk about it when everyone's there. EX was last to reach there, being dragged along by Joe, exclaiming that he does not want to witness the hermits flirting with each other again. To which everyone reacted to by screaming out that he was just jealous that he was single.
Once EX was done recovering from every hermits's bullshit, everyone was ready for the meeting. Xisuma gave an awkward smile as he coughed into hand. He removed his helmet to reveal the two new flowers on his left cheek. "I'm pretty sure these beauties had also appeared on your skin," Xisuma gestured towards the wilted flower and the plastic snowdrop. Lots of variations of 'Yes' came from the hermits however, EX raised up his hand. Xisuma titled his head at this but gestured for him to speak.
"Well first of all, I do have a dead unidentifiable 'beautiful' flower and a very, very much plastic snowdrop. Second of all," EX gestured towards the plastic aconite on his wrist. "Apparently, I'm the only person that got this stupid plastic aconite on me." A loud gasp came from Python, causing everyone to turn towards him. "Yes Python?" Xisuma asked, staring at the flower expert with a raised brow.
The hybrid gestured towards the plastic aconite with a gaping mouth. "I'm sorry it's just that..." Python started, eyeing the flower little to no belief, "Aconite usually means hatred..."
Silence filled the air as the words left his mouth, nobody said anything nor moved. All were trying to progress the information just given to them. "Of fucking course," Ex started. He rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms, "We haven't even met yet and the new member already hates my guts!" The hermits couldn't helped but bursted out laughing at this. Xisuma chuckled lightly, "You seem oddly used to this." Ex just stare at Xisuma like he was an idiot, "I just got used to the fact majority of the world dislikes me."
Immediately the laughter died down, suddenly feeling a little bit bad of always making fun of Ex. Ex just rolled his eyes at their behavior. "Calm down!" He cried out, "It's not even your fault! I'm just not a people person. Plus, they think I'm some kind of evil version of Xisuma." Xisuma frowned at this, confusion clear in his expression. "Why would they think that?" Ex shrugged, putting his hands into his jeans pockets.
"They think. 1)–" "How did you say that?"
"Since I'm literally you but red, everyone assumes I'm an evil clone or something–" "That's ridiculous!" "–I know right? Such bullshit. Why do people keeping villain-lizing characters in red and/or black?"
"Anyways, 2)–" "Am I the only one hearing Ex pronouncing the ')' symbol or am I'm going crazy?" "–They think 'Ex' is short for Evil Xisuma." "What kind of parent would do that?!"
Ex shrugged at Xisuma's question, not really caring about anything anymore. "They do realize that 'Ex' is just a shortened version of Exavier, right?", Mumbo asked, completely forgetting about the fact Ex and Xisuma are very private people. Ex's facial expression crushed up in cringe at the mention of his name, "I just felt an entire war happened within my body and soul as I heard my name." TFC rolled his eyes at Ex's sentence. He let out a sigh, shaking his head at this.
"Anyways," Ex said, gesturing towards Xisuma, "Carry on."
Actually now that I read it it looks like a finished fic... Maybe I will continue it in the future? But for now? No.
My Writing Corner is usually where I write a scene in mind that doesn't have a plot nor a proper storyline
The sound of the raindrop hitting the surface was getting louder and louder by the second they spent down there. They were all chatting with one another, worried about the hermits who haven't yet to show up.
In the distance, very distance, the rain was ridiculously loud, TFC heard a door opened and slammed shut. Then some rockets going off, which was a lot louder than the opening and closing of door, and caught the attention of the remaining hermits.
All the chatting were silence, tensing with each rocket that went off. Then it stopped. And the sound of someone going down the ladder came.
Dirtied up red sneakers came into view first. Then some grey jeans. At this point, they got a feeling they knew who the hermit was. Their guess was proven correct when a red sweater and blonde hair came into view.
"Grian. What took you so long?" Xisuma asked, causing Grian to turn around and face them. A red rosy hue flashed upon his face as he looked at ground beside him.
"Well you see... I had to depose some concrete off as it was slowing me down..."
"Why were you even carrying concrete with you?" Iskall asked, his brows furrowed in pure confusion.
Grian turned towards Iskall, staring directly into his eyes, "Well you see..."
"They weren't concrete until it started raining."
I'm so funny... (sarcasm)
Also angst warning for the last one
Grian walked towards his HUB house, ready to head straight into his personal world. Maybe he could go and check on the robots? See how they're doing.
Honestly. Anything was better than trying to bond with Taurtis again.
Of course, he miss Taurtis! It's— it's just that they don't connect anymore. You know? Like when you re–meet someone after years but they're changed so much that you can't just... connect.
That was exactly their situation. Except Grian's the one that changed. I mean Taurtis changed as well but you get the point.
EVO Grian isn't Hermitcraft Grian, they're far too different now. It was obvious. So it hurts to try to bond with Taurtis again. They're both too different to reconnect but so similar that it's worth to try and rebuild their relationship. And he hates it.
He hates how they both are aware of it but still try. He hates how unwilling they are to let go of the past. He hates how neither of them have the will power to tell each other that.
They're both so stupid and sad. It's almost pitiful.
Oof. I warned ya buddy.
Anyways I would say my on going books will go on hiatus but...
Knowing me, that probably won't happen :p
Also if I post a 'Halloween' (Inhuman Au) one-shot on November it's because my exams are oN OCTOBER 31st AND BECAUSE I LOVE HALLOWEEN.
AGH. I HATE BEING MALAYSIAN.
Anyways. Peace out.
