MyGO is facing hardship when they perform a live show that didn't go as planned, causing difficulties within the band. Soyo's past greivences about CRYCHIC will soon boil over to the people around her.

Flashback - five months ago

Tomori POV

It was one evening when the future members of MyGO gathered at RiNG. This was a few months before I met Jiro-senpai. I wanted to start a band, one where we'll be together for life.

Tomori: Well, all be in a band for life... I want no more breakups...

Everyone: Huh...?

Taki: I swear on that... I don't mind doing it for life. If it's with you!

Anon: Huh?!

Soyo: I swear on that as well.

Anon: Eh?! Hold on a second, if it's your whole life, do you know 90 is life expectancy. Will you play the drums when you are 90?

Taki: I will...

Anon: Hmm....

Soyo: It's okay, don't force yourself!

Raana: I'll join too.

Anon: Fine, I get it. Let's do it!

In the beginning, things were rough. Anon-chan, most of the time would cause the most issues... Taki-chan would have difficulty adjusting to playing in a band, so Soyo-chan would get really scary and standoffish... Raana-chan would only follow her own path, leading to Taki-chan's criticism. We never had a self sponsored show yet, but we did choose a name for our band: MyGO!!!... five lost girls.

Back to the present...
Unamed Neighborhood
Jiro POV

After being threatened by our little French transfer student, my day got a little worse when my name was called out by a familier voice.

Soyo: Jiro-senpai.

Jiro: Oh, it's you. So what do you want?

Soyo: That's not very welcoming. It's like you think I'll say something mean.

Jiro: After our last interaction, I bet I'm not on your nice list.

Soyo: I mean, why would you be? You helped Mutsumi-chan...

Jiro: How was I to know you had history with her? I've only known you girls for like what few months.

Soyo: Doesn't excuse the fact that you did what you did.

Jiro: Like I said... this is not between us. I have a job to do and people to feed.

Soyo: Right, your sister and your little new girlfriend... I bet all your feeding her is false hope and lies...

Jiro: That was low, even for you.

Soyo: All is fare in war...

Jiro: How could you say these things with a smile on your face... your horrible...

Soyo: So are you, Spei...

Soyo walked away quietly as I stood there in contemplation. Something happened to CRYCHIC... but is it right to look into something that has nothing to do with me? The next day, I was at Circle again working my usual shift, Tae and Rokka were here maintaing the studio rooms while I worked at the front desk. As I stared off into space still bothered by Soyo's words from yesterday, my attention was immediately regained by the sound of the service bell.

Jiro: Welcome to Circle. How may I help you?!

Yukina: Are you okay?

Jiro: Uh, yes. Why wouldn't I be?

Yukina: You seem troubled. Is something wrong?

Jiro: It hasn't been a good day, Yukina.

Yukina: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.

Jiro: It's not fault. Thanks for asking, though. Anyway, what can I do for you?

Yukina: I would like to book a studio for Roselia.

Jiro: Sure, here you go, fill it out.

Yukina: Circle is using tablets now?

Jiro: It's easier and more sophisticated, gone of the days of paperwork.

Yukina: All done.

*grabs a document and hands it to Yukina to sign*

Jiro: Sigh here and there.

Yukina: I thought you said no more paperwork?

Jiro: Yeah, well, I still need to process these...

Yukina: Alright, is that everything?

Jiro: You are all good to go.

Yukina: Thank you, Jiro. Oh, if there is anything that's bothering you, Roselia is here to help.

Jiro: I appreciate it. I'll see you around Yuki-chan.

Yukina and I both shared a smile and a nod of acknowledgment. I'm happy that she and I friends once again, and to be honest, she's been more outgoing and supportive, even towards her rivals Chiyu and Ran. Speaking of those two...

Chu²: There is he! What's good, Spei?

Ran: You seem like you're in a good mood.

Jiro: Stop, don't call me that. It's embarrassing.

Chu²: Hey, do you want a RAS codename? Something like... Hero, which sounds like Jiro.

Jiro: Nah... I'm good, Chiyu...

Chu²: Aww bummer...

Jiro: Anyway, what do you two need?

Ran: Tamade-san and I were wondering if you are attending MyGO's live show tonight?

Jiro: Yeah, I'm closing up Circle early to go to it.

Chiyu: We figured you would, since Takamatsu-san is performing.

Jiro: What does that have to do with anything?

Ran: We all know she's been living at your house...

Jiro: And how exactly did you all find out?

Chu²: Oh, Kaname-san told us that Takamatsu-san told her.

Jiro: Damn it, Raana... but yeah, the rumors are true. I love how my life can provide entertainment for you girls.

Ran: It's not like that.

Chu²: Yeah, we're just yanking your chain.

Jiro: Oh ha ha... well, it's been fun, but I gotta close up. Wait in here for a bit, and we'll go together.

Chiyu and Ran sat at the couches close to the door while I cleaned up the front desk and closed my office. After locking up Circle, Tae and Rokka went ahead to RiNG while I walked with Chiyu and Ran. One train ride later, we arrived at RiNG, where I showed my VIP pass to the lady working there.

???: VIP Huh? Then you must me Jiro.

Jiro: Yep, that's me. I'm guessing Marina hired you?

??? Yes, I'm Ririko Matsugi. I look after RiNG when Marina is over at Circle.

Jiro: Good to meet you.

Ririko: You as well, the hall in right donw the hall.

Ran and Chiyu joined their band members wherever they were sitting and began to chat amongst all the other girls who were all here in attendance... including Ave Mujica. While scrolling through my phone for emails, Soyo called me out.

Soyo: Look who decided to show up...

Jiro: Please, Soyo... not tonight.

Soyo: Why don't you join your best friends in the back there.

Jiro: What's your problem with me?

Soyo: You... your my problem.

Jiro: You're not gonna let up. Will you?

Soyo: I never will...

Jiro: I did nothing to you, and this is how you treat me?

Soyo: I just wanted to let you know how much I really hate you.

Jiro: O-oh...

Soyo: Aww, you look so hurt... I guess I'm taking a good look at the loser. You were back then...

Jiro: W-why would say that...?

Soyo: Look at you... are you gonna cry?

Jiro: No...

Soyo: Then get lost, you're not wanted here...

Soyo walked back into the changing room. As I began to slowly make my way to the viewing area, Sakiko was behind listening in our conversation.

Sakiko: I had no idea she could be so cruel...

Jiro: I'm guessing you heard all of that?

Sakiko: I did. I can't say I'm surprised. She always had that side to her.

Jiro: Everyone has a dark side...

Sakiko: You okay? You look pained.

Jiro: I'm fine...

Sakiko: Senpai... everything she said was wrong about you.

Jiro: I wish I could believe that...

Sakiko: Huh?

Jiro: It's nothing. Anyway, I'm shocked Ave Mujica is here.

Sakiko: Uika demanded we attend. I mean, the other bands seem to don't mind us here.

Jiro: I guess you earned their respect.

Sakiko: All thanks to you.

Jiro: I'm really not that special...

As we both heard the crowd starting to cheer a lot more louder, Sakiko and I made put way to the front of the crowd where we had a clear view of MyGO!!! As they walked onto the stage with their new costumes, Tomori spotted me in the crowd and gave me a small wave and a smile, as I did the same in return. MyGO!!! Announced that tonight they will be performing the song: Haru Hikage.

The performance by all accounts was an immense success. Many had fun listening to Tomori's voice and the skills of the rest of the band. From this one performance, MyGO is now being recognized by many viewers in the audience. The band girls especially loved the song, Yukina, Ran, and Chiyu, all agreed about its quality... Sakiko herself even clapped.

Similar to Ave Mujica's live show, the crowd dispersed, and only the bands girls remain. While I was talking to Rei and Masuki, the members of MyGO approached the large group. Raana, of course, went to find something to eat.

Jiro: They're good, aren't they?

Rei: Yes, Takamatsu-san is an amazing vocalist.

Masuki: Lucky you, Jiro!

Kasumi: Wow! That was amazing!

Anon: I can't believe it was a huge success!

Taki: Yeah! I couldn't believe it either!

Anon: Tomorin! You were amazing!

Tomori: Really?

Suddenly, Soyo walked out and lashed out on Taki.

Taki: Huh?

Soyo: You said we weren't going to?!

Taki: I never said that...

Soyo: You did that song when Saki-chan was here?

Taki: She's here?

Sakiko: I am, what of it?

Soyo: Why?! Why that song?

Taki: So what? It's got nothing to with her, I'm over CRYCHIC... why aren't you?

Soyo: You're awful! All of you!

Tomori: Soyo-chan... please calm down!

Soyo: No! I won't calm down!

Tomori begins to tear up after Soyo yells at her.

Jiro: Soyo, stop. You're making her cry.

Soyo: Shut up! While Taki-chan, may be awful! You're the most fake person I have ever met!

Yukina: How dare you!

I raise hand stopping Yukina from intervening.

Soyo: You only take care of Tomori because you want to feel good about yourself! But then you start being friends with her! You are nothing but a fake, sad excuse of a human being!

Sakiko: Stop blaming me and Jiro. You're only embarrassing yourself...

Soyo: You... Mutsumi-chan... you're not innocent either!

Mutsumi stayed silent as Soyo turned her attention back to myself and Sakiko.

Soyo: You two would sell out your own family move up in the world!

Jiro: I'm not even going to dignify that with a response...

As Soyo continues to insult Jiro and Sakiko in front of everybody, Tomori tightly covers her ears while tears drop from her face.

Lisa: Tomori-chan, let's go somewhere else...

Rinko: You don't need to hear this...

Soyo: You really don't love Tomori-chan... you're only doing it out of pity...

Anon: You're out line Soyo-chan!

Jiro: I don't need this... *begins to walk away in the other direction*

Soyo: Don't walk away! I'm still talking to you!

*Immediately walks back with a clenched fist*

Jiro: Right now, you and I have nothing to talk about. I'm not going to stand here while you insult me and tear MyGO apart, all because you can't move on!

Soyo: When we first met, you told me us that you'll support us! You don't betrey our trust!

Jiro: Is that what this is? Lashing out on me cause you want something that's long gone?

Soyo: What do you know what I want!? You couldn't possibly know how I feel!

Yukina: I think you said enough!

Sayo: Walk away while you still have dignity...

Soyo: Hmph! *Storms off into the dressing room*

I immediately walked past everyone after they witnessed me lose my composure. I decided to head home to cool my head.

Yukina: I never seen Jiro that heated in a long time...

Kasumi: Jiro-kun looked a little scary...

Chiyu: I never thought he could yell like that...

I received calls and texts from the girls asking about my well-being. While cooking dinner, Tomori came home and immediately ran into our room. Placing down the knife and apron, I enter the bedroom to see Tomori burying her face in a pillow. Sitting down on the edge of the bed, I began to pat her back as she quietly cried into the pillow.

Jiro: What happened?

Tomori: Soyo-chan left MyGO. She said she doesn't need us anymore... she promised to be in the band for life.

Jiro: I know...

Tomori: Taki-chan and Anon-chan got into a fight with her..

Jiro: It got ugly, didn't it?

Tomori: She said more terrible things about you...

Jiro: And Taki said some things she shouldn't have.

Tomori: Mmhmm...

Jiro: I want to help, but I have to stay out of this.

Tomori: Why?

Jiro: This is something you all have to fix yourselves.

Tomori: I wish I was like Anon-chan, who can do anything...

Jiro: No one is perfect, Tomori. You please, everyone. I would know.

Tomori: What do you mean?

Jiro: I'm starting to think this rift is my fault, I keep screwing up.

Tomori: I can never blame you for the things that happen to me.

Jiro: That's my line...

Tomori: I'm here for you, like you here for me.

Jiro: I happy to hear that.

Tomori: Like MyGO, we'll be together for life, right?

Jiro: I promise.

Jiro: Thank you for understanding me... to make you feel better, I am making your favorite katsu with furikake rice.

Tomori: I can't wait to eat it.

Jiro: It will be ready if a little bit okay? I love you. *kisses her*

Tomori: Me too.

Jiro: Everything is gonna be just fine.

The source of Soyo's rage must stem from what happened to CRYCHIC. I want to help. However, on the other hand, this is something they should solve on their own, and I should stay out of it... what should I do?

Just to be clear, I don't hate Soyo. Her personality and character arc are convenient as a story antagonist. This time, she'll be in the position a little shorter than Yukina, with a planned redemption alongside Sakiko. Hope you're still enjoying these chapters.
