It had been a week since the Harvest. Klaus wanted to go back to Mystic Falls when he learned Katherine Pierce's dying until Lizzie and Luke decided to tell their family's story to the Mikaelson, Faye and Hayley. And what better way to do it over dinner? So Klaus decided to stay.

Lizzie was wearing a pregnant white dress.

Faye was wearing a sweater, a small pant with big socks and some boots.

As they ate, Luke began "In Mystic Falls, we had a family friend there. Sheila Bennett."

"You knew Bonnie's grandmother?"Rebekah asked.

"Yes, she also helped our older sister Jo put her twin away. Kai."Lizzie explained.

Hayley asked "Wait, there's two sets of twins in your family?"

"Yeah there was until our coven put Kai in a prison world."Luke replied.

"Now there's just Luke and me."Lizzie added.

Rebekah asked "Your coven put Kai away?"

Luke said "Kai killed four of our brothers and sisters to make a point but he was really targeting me and Lizzie."

Elijah asked "Why you two?"

"Because in our coven twins are meant to be leaders."Lizzie said.

Luke replied "Hence our lame ass name. Gemini."

Lizzie explained "Kai wanted to be the leader but that wasn't possible if me and Luke were alive, so our older sister protected us using magic, which just pissed him off more. Like us, Kai was born without his own magic.. he could only draw it from others, it made him feel like a freak. Our parents saw him acting out, isolating himself and they realised that he'd never be capable of leading our coven. So they kept having children until another set of twins were born."

"Kai figured it out and he snapped."Luke added.

Lizzie said "He was a psychopath so they sent him away, Kai went to his prison, Jo dodged a bullet and now the leadership falls on us. We didn't ran away from our family just because our parents were abusive but because we didn't want to go through..."

Klaus interrupted "Does it have anything to do with the Merge?"

"Yes. Like I told you, in our coven's tradition after their 22nd birthday the twins merge their strength, the stronger one wins absorbing their twin's power and the weaker of the two..."Lizzie trailed.

"The weaker one dies."Luke said.

"It's simple if they don't wanna merge then don't."Hayley told them.

Faye sighed "It's really not that simple. If the twins don't merge then they both die taking the whole coven down with them."

"Are there a way to avoid it?"Hayley asked.

"Yes. We found a Gemini spell that can unlink us from the Gemini coven but we're not strong enough to cast it alone."Lizzie explained.

"That is why we want to free Kai. We need his help. But to free him we need the Ascendant."Luke added.

"But to get it, we need to locate our sister Jo since she's the one who has it."Lizzie explained.

"You told us Kai was a sociopath, are you not afraid?"Hayley asked.

"There is a spell they can cast with him. It works on people who does not have humanity or emotions. I used it before."Faye explained.

"On who?"Rebekah asked.

"Remember when Elena had turned off her humanity. Well during Prom, Bonnie and I, we casted the spell together and it turned her humanity back on."Faye explained.

A/N Instead of going to Mystic Falls, I decided to do this chapter instead. Kai won't be free until season two. That is all I'm saying.
