"Padfoot, why?" James and I facepalmed.

"He's definitely a feminist." Lily rolled her eyes. "Sirius we love you, but get off the table."

"I will not get off this table until there is justice!" He yelled. I stood up and pushed him off the table smirking.

"There, justice is served. You're welcome." I laughed and sat back down next to James.

"Thank you, Jade!" They all said in unison.

"I will not be silenced!" Sirius yelled again. "Vixen, give me one of your skirts."

"Hell no! Last time that happened you ripped it." I sassed. "The only way you're wearing my skirts again is over my cold and dead body and I don't see that happening anytime soon."

"Honestly Jade, how do you deal with him?" Marlene asked.

"After a few years, you learn to tune him out sometimes." I shrugged.

"Nobody supports me." Sirius said sadly.

"Padfoot, we do support you and it's noble what you want to do. But for the love of Godric, we're not wearing skirts." Remus rolled his eyes. Sirius flipped him off and sat down next to me.

"You still support me, right sunshine?" Sirius asked.

"Of course I do, my love. But I doubt that the boys will wear skirts in protest. I'm all for wearing pants and everything because I hate wearing this skirt, but I don't think that the boys share my point of view in this." I chuckled and kissed his cheek. "There are other ways, you know? That don't involve skirts."

"Like?"

"Try setting an example or something like that. But for the love of Salazar's beard,don't wear my skirts again. Women have been treated like objects since the dawn of time, this isn't anything new and it will take time before we can walk down the halls safely." I shrugged.

"Yeah, when all the boys are dead and women rule the world." Alice said.

"Exactly!" Dorcas yelled.

"It's just not fair." Sirius mumbled.

"Life isn't fair and yet here we are." Marlene said and we all looked at her. "What!? It's the truth."

"Well, it's perfectly clear that Sirius is feminist as fuck and we love it." Lily laughed.

"Down with the patriarchy, I say!"

"So I can't wear a skirt?"

"Padfoot, we're doing homework. And no, you can't wear a skirt." I rolled my eyes. "If I can't wear trousers, you can't wear a skirt."

"This is bullshit. The whole system is bullshit." I rubbed my temples and sighed.

"Why do you want to wear a skirt again?"

"To prove that women are worth so much more than what they have under there." Sirius said. "Plus, I think they're comfortable."

"You wore one once in second year so you should know. And that's actually really nice of you Pads, but you wearing a skirt will get you in detention again and not to mention that mine won't fit you." I shrugged.

"And why's that?"

"I'm like almost a foot shorter than you, I'm way skinnier than you and I have the curves that you don't have. The skirt just hides them." I stated and handed him a Transfiguration book. "Now do your homework before Pince kicks us out again."

"Fine, but the system is still bullshit." Sirius mumbled and started to do his homework.

"Life is full of bullshit and yet we're still here." I shrugged and continued to do my Charms essay.

"Ready, Prongs?"

"Ready, Padfoot."

"Guys, we're studying. Don't you fucking dare." I warned the two boys and Lily glared at them.

"SWEET CAROLINE! BAM, BAM, BAM." Lily and I groaned and hit them with a book.

"Fine! You wanna play? We'll play. Lily, you know the song." Lily smirked and changed the record.

"You wouldn't dare!" Sirius looked at me appalled.

"Try us, bitch." Lily and I said in unison and looked at each other.

"Oh Merlin, they've fused together. I'm officially terrified." James said terrified.

"YOU ARE THE DANCING QUEEN! YOUNG AND SWEET ONLY SEVENTEEN!" Lily and I yelled and started to dance on the couches.

James and Sirius decided to challenge us and did the same with Sweet Caroline. This went on for a while until Remus stopped the record player.

"WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO YOU FOUR!?" Remus yelled at us. We all looked at each other and nodded.

"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME THE SPACE COWBOY. SOME CALL ME THE GANGSTER OF LOVE-"

"That's it. I'm leaving you four to your own devices. I need a nap." Remus rubbed his temples and went to the dorms. The boys, Lily and I looked at each other and we started laughing.

"Well this was a nice break. But seriously guys, we have a test tomorrow and we need to study." Lily said sitting down and grabbing a book.

"Fine." The boys and I groaned and sat down next to her and kept on studying.

"In the jungle, the mighty jungle, THE WOLF SLEEPS TONIGHT!" James yelled.

"JAMES, NO!" We heard Remus yell.

"HUSH MY DARLING, DON'T FEAR MY DARLING! THE WOLF SLEEPS TONIGHT!" I sang back.

"JADE, DON'T YOU DARE" Remus yelled at me and I laughed.

"THIS IS WHY I'M YOUR BEST FRIEND MOONY!"

"Are they always like that?" Lily asked me once we exited Study Hall.

"Like how?"

"Annoying." I laughed and nodded.

"You should see them before we go to bed. James starts dancing, Sirius runs around like a madman, Peter is mostly dancing with James and Remus and I are trying to calm everybody down before Minnie comes up and kills us." I shrugged.

"You must really love them if you put up with their shit for almost seven years." Lily chuckled and linked arms with me.

"Those are my boys, Lils. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. Besides, they put up with my shit on a daily basis. It's fair game."

"I just can't believe that you and James are related." Lily laughed and I smirked at her.

"You called him James. Wanna talk about it?" Lily glared at me.

"I'm learning to be civil, Jade. But he's still a toe rag."

"Whatever you say, Lils."

"SWEET CAROLINE-"

"Sirius Orion Black the Third, if you do what I think you're going to do so help me Merlin you are so dead." I hit him in the head and continued to fix his hair.

"You people never let me have any fun." Sirius mumbled and handed me a hair comb.

"You can sing all you want after I'm done fixing the tangled mess you call hair. You're supposed to brush it with conditioner, not after it's completely dry. What the hell happened to it anyways?"

"Prongs thought it would be a good idea to put excess amounts of your Dad's hair potion and it was a pain in the ass to get rid off." Sirius shrugged. "You can fix it right?"

"I can try, but we need to wash it again. There's still potion residue on it. Or I could cut it all off, your choice." Sirius turned around and looked at me in shock.

"You are not chopping my hair off. You only cut the ends and that's it."

"All right, all right. Now, let's go and wash your hair again before it gets worse." I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Remind me to hex James after this."

"Don't worry, I will."

"FINALLY!" I yelled and threw the hair comb.

"Finally what?" Lily asked not looking up from her homework.

"Four hours and three hair washes later and I finally got all the product out of Sirius' hair. And the good news, I only had to cut an inch and a half of hair." I handed Lily her scissors and ruffled Sirius' hair. "It's done, sweetheart."

"I choose to not look at it. Ever since Lily handed you the scissors, I've been fearing for my life." Sirius said. I rolled my eyes and made him walk towards a mirror.

"If you don't like it then you have to wait until it grows back for me to fix it." I shrugged.

Sirius looked at his hair smiling big and kissed me.

"It looks even better than last time. Thank you so much, sunshine." Sirius said and kissed me again.

"All that's left if for Sirius to cut Jade's hair and we're golden." Lily smirked.

"How about no? I don't even let my mum cut my own hair. Nobody comes near these locks with a pair of scissors, only me." I crossed my arms and gave her a look.

"Just an inch?" Sirius whined and I shook my head.

"You come towards me with a pair of scissors, I'll use them to cut something other than your hair if you know what I mean." I gestured towards his trousers and Sirius paled and ran towards Lily.

"NOT THE CHILDREN, VIXEN! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"

"Sirius, get off me!" Lily pushed Sirius to the floor laughing. "You need the scissors again, Jade?"

"Not yet. Maybe when I have to try and take my brother's hair for the fifth time this year." I shrugged. "Thank Merlin I got Mum's hair."

"You know that I love you right?" Sirius said fearfully. "But you scare the shit out of me sometimes. Same goes to you, Evans. You women scare the living daylights out of me."

"We know." Lily and I said in unison.

"Oh no, JAMES YOU'RE RIGHT. THEY'RE MORE TERRIFYING TOGETHER!"

"Shut up, Sirius." We said in unison again and looked at each other. Weird.

"Nope! If Jade and Lily are dangerous enough on their own, I don't want to imagine what they're capable of together." Sirius said grabbing the scissors. "I'm taking this with me just in case."

"You do know that we're witches right? A simple wave of our wands and you and Prongs will be done for." I said rolling my eyes.

"Shit."
