Almost the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018. So I thought why not give you all a little present which is an early update for The Ender Heir. And also early happy new year! :)

"We should do something, the King hurt Adam—"

"You know how Adam feels about revenge, Jerome," Jason said. They were in the meeting hall, and whenever the boys have a meeting no one is allowed in till it is over. The only person that isn't there is Adam, he is still recovering.

"We can't just let King Fredrick get away with this. He almost killed Sky." Jerome said. Jerome looked at Ian. "If I was there, I would have kicked his ass."

"Why do you think I went? Look, we can't go up against Verane, they match the strength of the Sky Army and besides Adam wouldn't something like that without some crazy plan of his." Ian said. Ian looked at Ty, Ty was staring at the table lost in his own world. Ian sighs. "And besides, we have to figure out what's wrong with Ty." Everyone looked at Ty. Ty than met their eyes, wondering why they were staring at him.

"How's your flying?" Jason asks Ty.

"He lets the ground catch him," Seto said. Many of them chuckle while Ty looks at Seto and back at Jason.

"Can we go to the Ruins of Silence?" Ty asks.

"Why?"

"Can we? I don't know why, but I feel like it is the place to be." Ty said. Seto looked away from Ty, he stared at the table.

"I mean sure, but don't you want Adam to go with you?" Mitch asks. Ty nodded.

"I've already asked him, he said he could go tonight," Ty said. Quentin looked over at Ty.

"Okay, Ty, Adam is still healing from getting his stomach cut open. And besides, there is no way in nether he would be able to escape urgent care. They watch Sky like a hawk and he is restraint to the bed." Quentin said.

"Hey, guys." Someone said. Jerome turned around.

"Sky? What the nether? Why are you out of bed?" Jerome asks.

"More importantly, how?" Mitch asks. Sky looked over at Seto. Seto was still staring at the table, he was listening but he was also lost in his thoughts. Sky walked over beside Ty.

"It wasn't that hard once I got out of the restraints." Sky said. Sky looked at the others. "I know you all were worried about me--"

"More like terrified. You almost bled to death, Adam. And you still have stitches meaning they could break." Ian said. Adam looked at Seto.

"Seto...what's wrong?" Adam asks him. Everyone turned their attention to Seto.

"I wasn't gonna say anything...but the Magic Council is pressuring me...they want me to give them Ty," Seto said.

"What?!" Jerome and Mitch shouted at once. Seto looked over at Ty.

"If you are going to the ruins, I'll come with you. The only reason the Council wants you is that of your wings and magic." Seto said. Jerome turns to Seto.

"Well tell them to f*ck off! They're scared of you, Seto. You can push them around." Jerome said. Seto looks at Jerome.

"The Council aren't the only people who want Ty for what he is, we need to regain Ty's memory," Seto said.

"Why?" Ty asks. Seto looks at Ty.

"Did you not put two and two together yet? You can speak and read dragon tongue, that's the reason as to why reading and writing is so difficult for you, Ty." Seto said. Ty looked at Seto.

"I'm dyslexic, that's why--"

"Don't you remember what I said, Ty? About the people who drunk dragon blood and became well..dragon hybrids." Seto said. Seto stood up seeing no one was following. "Ty isn't an Astinaian, he was from a time period before me--" Jerome chuckles.

"Wow, that's how you know Ty is old," Jerome said. Seto glares at Jerome and then looks at Ian who was standing beside Jerome.

"Ian," Seto said. Ian smacks Jerome's shoulder.

"OW!"

"Thank you," Seto said. Seto looks at Ty. "Ty I have a very bad feeling about this. And unfortunately, since someone is forcing my hand, I cannot let you pass this by as a coincidence." Ty stood up, looking at Seto.

"Wait forcing you? What do you mean by forcing you? Who is forcing you?" Ty asks.

"Nevermind that, but I cannot bring your memories back because there is a lock on your mind put there by the sorcerer who wanted your memories gone. But that lock is beginning to open by itself. If only you told me that you had amnesia, we could have figured this out sooner." Seto said. Adam looked at Ty and then Seto.

"Ty never wanted anyone to know, but than Statilia showed up. Ever since she came here, his memories were returning." Adam said. Seto sighs.

"Of course she did because she is like you, Ty. She doesn't bare dragon wings and such, but she isn't from around here. I sensed that about her the moment I saw her." Seto said. Ty looks at the table, he could tell that something else was eating at Seto, but he knew Seto would act like he didn't know what they were talking about. It annoyed Ty that Seto was like that when he thought about it, no one really knows a whole about Seto, but Seto was never one to really talk about personal stuff with anyone.

"So..to the ruins?" Ian asks. Ty looks at Ian.

"I only want Adam, Seto, and Quentin to come. And...Statilia." Ty said. Ty saw Seto tense up as the others starting arguing with Ty.

"SHUT IT!" Adam shouted making everyone go silent, Seto sits back down, staring at the table. "We still have an army to run, if Ty wants the four of us to come with him, then the rest of you stay here and take care of the army."

"But Adam...what if something happens?" Jerome asks.

"Nothing will happen--"

"That's the same exact thing you said on your trip to Verane and look at where that got you," Mitch said.

"Seto is coming with us," Adam said. Seto looked over at Adam. Adam smiled a little. "And knowing Seto, he won't let anything happen to us." Seto smiled a little too. Jerome sighed.

"Okay, it does make me feel better that Seto is going with you. But how do you plan on getting to the ruins? They are on an island--"

"Flying," Seto said. Seto stood back up. "If you want to get Silent City, only four of us can go including you. Meaning one of us will have to stay here."

"I vote Sky," Jerome said.

"Of course you do," Adam said. Ty looked at Quentin.

"Quentin--" Quentin nodded and smiles at Ty.

"It's alright, Ty. I'm fine with staying here." Quentin said.

"Thanks--" The doors opened suddenly, a nurse standing in the doorway. Everyone looked at Adam as the nurse crosses her arms at him.

"Commander Adam Skylen, why aren't you in bed?" She asks. Adam shrugged his shoulders at her.

"What? You turned your back to me and left one of my hands untied. It was your mistake to trust me that much." He said.

"Yeah, I shouldn't of." She said. She motions him to come over. "Come here, now." Adam walks over to her. She grabs his shirt, she lifts it up to look at his bandage on his stomach. Her eyes look at him and then at the bandage. She lets go of his shirt.

"Well? Am I clear?" Adam asks her. Her eyes met his and sighs irritated.

"I don't want to clear you, but now that you escaped once already it will be harder to keep you there. To save me a heartattack and a headache, you're cleared. Just don't do anything too stupid till your stitches is out." She said before she leaves. Adam turns around looking at them, he looks at Jerome.

"See, I'm cleared--" Mitch shook his head.

"Correction," Mitch said. "She said to save her a headache you are cleared. She didn't say because you were better than you were cleared, so you still aren't in the clear for us." Adam crosses his arms.

"There is no pleasing you people," Adam said. Ty smiled a bit.

"Are you sure you are feeling well enough for this?" Ty asks. Adam nods.

"I feel fine, guys. Calm down. I'll come back if I can't handle it." Adam said.

"So you won't come back at all," Quentin said. Adam nods and smiles.

"You guys know me so well," Adam said.

Ty had ahold of Statilia and Seto has Adam. They both flying towards the Ruins of Silence.

"Ty, have you worked on your landings yet?" Statilia asks him. Ty loses his smile.

"Oh....um..no. F*ck." Ty said. Statilia grabs Ty's arms, struggling slightly as she panicked. Adam looks up at Seto.

"You didn't teach Ty how to land yet, Seto?" Adam asks.

"I'm surprised he is able to fly straight," Seto said.

"Put me down before we crash!" Statilia said. Seto and Adam look at Ty and Statilia. The ruins coming upon them, She puts her arms around Ty's neck as Ty starts to wobble and Seto and Adam watch them suddenly head to the ground, Ty's wings had wrapped around them, Statilia landing on Ty making him groan when her weight crashed into him. Seto sets Adam on his feet before he lands himself, his eyes returning to normal. They go over to Ty and Statilia.

"Oh..Ty, you wanna know how to land?" Seto asks. Adam chuckles and Ty looks at him.

"Little late, Seto." Ty groaned. Ty sits up, stilling holding Statilia. Statilia meets his eyes and they both blush as she gets off him. Adam helps Ty up to his feet. Seto helps Statilia up. Statilia smacks Seto's shoulder. Seto yelps grabbing his arm.

"Owww!" Seto yelped.

"If you are teaching someone how to fly, don't you think it is important to teach them how to land on the first lesson?" She asks Seto. Seto looks at Ty and then back at Statilia.

"It isn't as easy as it looks teaching someone when they can barely kick off the ground in the first place. I'm surprised he was able to fly over here, of course, I knew he would crash." Seto said. Statilia narrows her eyes at Seto.

"You wanted us to crash? Is that why you took the Commander since he is already hurt?" Statilia asks. Seto grins at her.

"I wouldn't trust Ty to carry Adam with his wound when all Ty has is about half an hour of flight experience in the first place. And also, I forgot I didn't teach him how to land, but he could have crashed into the sea so count yourself lucky." Seto snapped. Statilia and Seto keep arguing making Adam and Ty stare at them. 'This is weird. Seto doesn't act like this, he gets along with almost everyone.' Ty thought to himself. Ty looks at Adam.

"I think they don't like each other," Ty said. Adam sighs annoyed and looks at Ty.

"I couldn't tell. I'll handle this because this is already getting on my nerves." He said. Adam looks at two. "Stop it!" Adam went between the two making them stop. "Alright, before this trip goes any further. This arguing may have only just started, but it is already annoying as nether. So you two are gonna have to get along for the remainder of this trip or else you can go back to the base." Adam looks at Seto and then at Statilia. "I'm I being clear enough or do I need to say more?"

"No," Seto said.

"Good, now it is getting dark, so lets set up camp for the night before the mobs come out," Adam said. Adam looks at Seto. "Seto--"

"I'm on it," Seto said before he flies back into the air to look for a safe place to set up camp. Adam looks at Statilia. Statilia has her arms crossed and is looking away from him.

"Statilia--"

"I got it. I got it, Commander. No more arguing....unless he starts it first." Statilia said.

"Statilia, I'll make you swim back to the base if you two can't find some common ground," Adam said. Ty looks at Statilia.

"Why do you two hate each other already? You two only just met." Ty said. Statilia looks at Ty. 'I know why Seto is mad at me, I'm mad at him because he isn't doing what I ask with Tobias.' She thought to herself.

"As much as I would like to be friends with him, I never liked wizards," Statilia said.

"Seto isn't like the dark mages, he's a light mage. He's a good guy." Adam said. Statilia looks at Adam, almost letting out a chuckle. 'If only they knew who Seto really was, their opinion of him would change in a heartbeat. I don't trust Seto one bit.' She thought.

"Doesn't matter." She said.
