I Love You~ Part. 3
"W-what do you mean you're colorblind?" I ask, but already know.
"I never told you, and I regret it, but remember when we had training? When you were shot by an arrow and I picked you up? It was me. It was all me. I shot you." By that time he was crying, tears streaming down his face.
"Marc."
"I did all of that. I put you in danger-."
"Marc."
"- and I hurt you. I'm a terrible broth-."
"Marc!"
Lurching forwards, I hug him, tears also streaming down my face. He hugs me back, tightly holding on to me.
"Jennifer, I'm so sorry." he manages to choke out.
"It's okay." I say, not letting go of him.
After a while, we hear a loud scream and quickly separate.
"What can we even do?" I ask Marc, looking at the immense hole in the wall.
"I-im not sure."
"Are we able to access the dragons?"
"Not from here at least."
Sighing loudly, I stand up and look around the room. Nothing. Literally nothing. We're stuck here. Thats when an idea hits me.
"Hey, let me see your necklace?"
"Sure, why?" He asks, pulling it off his neck and handing it to me.
"I want to see something."
Holding the necklace in my hand, I lift it up to the light, inspecting it carefully.
"What's in this?"
"It's a mermaid's tear."
"I mean what does it do?"
"Well, it can do a lot of things."
"Can you locate another one with it?"
"Yeah. But only if you are related with the owner of the other necklace."
I look at him with a smile on my face.
"Let's go, brother."

"What do you mean it's in here?"
"That's what the necklace is telling me."
Sighing, I search through my pockets for keys.
"I wasn't expecting it to be in your room."
Marc says as I pull out the keys to my dorm. I begin to finally open the door.
"Yeah, I thought it would at least be with Myr-"
I stop short and drop the keys as the door swings wide open. Myra stands at the door, eyes wide.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask, feeling my blood begin to boil.
In just a few seconds, she regains her composure, standing straight.
"No reason, just helping you decorate your room. I though you'd need it." She grins mischievously and dashes past me.
"The necklace! She has it." Marc says, grabbing her arm before she can run away.
Slowly, I begin to walk towards her, trying best not to slap her in the face.
"My necklace."
"W-what are you talking about?" She stammers nervously.
In an instant, Marc pulls out a small silver chain from her pocket. My necklace.
"You dirty liar." I grit through my teeth. "Why did you take it?"
To my surprise, she breaks out in tears, falling to her knees.
"I-I'm so sorry. It's not my fault. I just was following my mother's orders. She forced me to be together with Niko and made me do all these terrible things to you. I never wanted to be like this. Please listen to me."
There was a look in her eyes that I've never seen before. But it didn't seem right.
Jennifer I don't really trust her
Marc says to me, and I agred.
"Are you done acting, because I'm pretty sure the theater is in the next building, so you can cut the crap now."
Her face changes so fast that not even I can catch up.
"Fine, you want to play it that way? Go ahead. It's too late anyways."
The entire building shakes again, followed by two people appearing in front of us.
"It's time to go, daughter-in-law." I recognize the harsh voice of William's father.
"What? Why are you here?" I'm ask as Myra runs towards William, kissing him on the lips.
Marc quickly stands by my side, pulling out a longsword.
"Foolish boy, you cannot even touch me with that."
With a snap of his fingers, the sword crumbles, leaving a pile of dust at Marc's feet.
"W-wha?"
"Stop it!" I yell, before he does something to Marc.
I try to think quickly. If I do something wrong, Marc might end up... yeah.
"I'll go with you, just leave my friends alone, okay?"
"Jennifer-" Marc turns to me, a worried expression on his face.
"I'll be fine." I say, moments before turning back to William's father.
"Can I at least say goodbye?" I ask, full of hope.
"You had enough time to do that." Myra snaps coldly.
"Please, he's my brother." I plead
"You have one minute." William's father finally says.
Turning back to Marc, I hug him, and he hugs me back.
"Take the necklace. I'll meet up with the others and find you. This time, I won't lose you." He whispers into my ear.
"Marc, you know I love you right?"
"Yes, I love you too Jennifer."
He slips the necklace into my hands and gives me one final squeeze before letting me go.
"What a lovely family relationship. At least I know that we will be just like that one day, just way more, right Jennifer?"
I grimace and fake a smile. I cannot believe he let Myra kiss her. Oh well, I shouldn't care, right?
"We must leave immediately. The wedding will have to be delayed because of the lack of time."
William's father quickly grabs my arm, causing me to feel dizzy as the walls around me melt and the air becomes heavy. Are we teleporting?

After what seems to be hours, I recognize a large forest and even larger castle. It is possibly the largest castle I had ever seen. The towering walls seemed to be going up forever, but then I realized that I was still be dizzy. The four of us begin to walk towards the entrance and I begin to wonder how they are not dizzy.
"This is your first time Dåįr stepping. You'll get used to it." William's father says, letting go of my arm.
As we approach, the castle doors open, packed with guards in each corner.
"William, take her to her room. I will discuss her arrival with the rest of the troops. Myra, you come with me aswell."
"You mean our room? Of course I will, father"
William grins mishieviously, leading me to a building in the opposite direction that his father was heading. I've never felt so disgusted in my life.
As we pass by the entrance, two guards approve of me passing through. Another even cheers. Pedophiles...
William quickly leads me up two flights of stairs, still holding on to my hands. Once we reach the door, he opens it and gestures for me to enter.
"No thanks, Im fine really." I retort, not wanting to be stuck in a room alone with him.
I sense a slight change in his voice after I speak.
"You are my fiance. You do as I say or else I could consider some other options that I'm sure you wouldn't be fond of would you?"
Before I can respond, I feel a sharp pain near my arm. The pain is worse than before, unbearable. My vision is shrouded in red and my knees are suddenly weak.
William procceeds to push me inside the room, stopping only to lock the door behind him. I shiver as he pushes me up against the wall, both hands blocking me from escaping. I try to fight back, but to no avail. He then begins to breathe on my neck, lips just inches away.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting for this to happen Jennifer."
I feel something strangely wet on my neck as he lifts his head back up. Did he just lick me? Ugh. I try to wriggle away, but he still has me in a strong hold. Slowly, his body begins to come closer to me, closing up the space between us two.
I have to think quick before he... I don't even want to talk about it. Then I get an idea.
After some critical thinking, I finally allow my body to 'relax.' Slowly, I begin to wrap my arms around his neck. As I expected, he took it as an invitation and leans forwards to kiss me. If I could just kick him in the-"
My thoughts are interrupted by a knock at the door.
Oh thank goodness...
William quickly separates from me and walks toward the door, unlocking it cautiously. Behind the door stands a small boy, pushing a trolley almost the size of him with many silver platters. He is wearing a black hood, like many of the people in the castle. There is something off about him.
"You must be the new servant, eh?" William asks, ruffling the boy's auburn hair.
I catch sight of his bright blue eyes and freckles, caught a bit off ok.
"What was your name again?"
Hold on a second...
"My name is Juan Scezim, sir. I came to bring you lunch and deliver a message to your soon-to-be spouse."
Juan? Little Juan
Hey guys! I hope you all enhours! (Totally not a typo that I laughed at as I was editing)vI made sure to make this extra long (longer than usual) because of the wait. The story is coming together and will soon come to an end.
Our little Juan isn't so little anymore is he now?
Anyways, I have our traditional list of questions here along with the question line, where you may ask anything. Aaannyytthhiinngg. Except for my number or age... that is confidential. ☺☺☺
