9:07 Am London time, 4:07Am Rhode Island time

Greetings fellow traveler!

I decided to pack this Diary in my backpack so I can write on the go instead of overwhelming you at the end of the day while I try to remember everything that happened.

So I am currently in a black cab, "The only way in London to travel" or so the driver says. Hailing the cab wasn't hard, I only had to politely wait in line while receiving odd looks. If you ask me they all are still sore about the war ;)

Haha the driver just pointed out some restaurant and said,

"There's a right ace place for grub"

"Ace?" I asked

He said back, "Well I'll be gobsmacked!"

I tried my best not to laugh, but I think he thought I was being rude.

So I said the first thing I could think of. "I love gobstoppers."

Would you believe he laughed at me?

So anyway- I'm on my way to the uhh, Hounslow East Tube Station. It's only a few miles and from there I can get further into the city.

By the way, the tube is like an underground metro. I've never ridden one so taking my first one in England should be doubly intresting.
