It was a week and day after the whole Y/N turning into a kid, and lucky for him, the girls never said anything, nor did the spell work again due to the anti-spell charm he got lucky for him and not so lucky for the girls.

Grey clouds covered the skies above Magnolia for a storm was brewing. Everyone was already inside; including Y/N as he sat in a chair in his own apartment, eyes closed, he had dozed off. Things are going very well for him to say the least by now, all his debts were cleared and he was making a decent profit.

He seemed to have clicked with most of the wizards of Fairy Tail pretty well, and despite Trish and Ur now joining, it wasn't so bad to have her around. It really couldn't get much better than this.

But then, something just passed over. Y/N felt a presence that caused him to startle upwards. He felt something he hadn't felt in a long time.

Y/N looked at his red medallion that he had around his neck, the last gift his mother gave him. He thought it might be best to get some fresh air before the rain hits. He walked out the door just as a certain neighbour of his walked out of her apartment.

Lucy: Oh hey, Y/N. What's up?

Y/N: Nothing much, still sore about what happened?

Lucy: Yeah. I'm gonna hang out at the guild during the storm. It's getting lonely in my apartment all by myself. Especially without a certain someone being a kid!

Y/N: (sweat drop) Okay... Couldn't you just summon that boyfriend of yours Loke to keep you company?

Lucy: (blush) Hey! It's not like that! He's my spirit... of course he's a friend like all the others... but it's not...

Y/N smirked as he walked down the stairs with Lucy right behind him.

Y/N made it to the door only to find that it was slightly open, confusing him a bit. Y/N opened it up slowly and looked outside to see if anyone was there, it looked like no one was present. H

e walked outside a bit and noticed something on the outside of the door; a piece of paper stuck to the door by a small dagger. Y/N removed the dagger and looked at the paper, his face became serious as he read the contents. Lucy just came outside and noticed his serious expression.

Lucy: Y/N?

Y/N: Change of plans. You go on back to the guild hall, there's something I gotta take care of.

Lucy: (concern) What do you mean? Is something wrong? Can I help?

Y/N: (smile) Don't worry it's nothing, just something I need to do. But if you want to help, tell Natsu if he wants to fight me, just wait till I get there.

Lucy: (sweat drop) Something's telling me he won't listen to me.

Y/N: Yeah probably. I'll see you and the others later.

Y/N waved to Lucy as she turned around and left for the guild hall. Though she walked at a quick pace to avoid getting caught in the rain.

When she was far enough away Y/N looked at the paper and became serious again. The contents of the paper reads.

East Forest, I'll be waiting.

Y/N exhaled deeply as he recognized the writing, he knew he felt something familiar.

Y/N: (to himself) So like you; always so straight forward, just like Vergil as well. I'm coming, you better be ready bro.

East Forest

Within a small clearing between several trees stood the man who left the note. The black and dark blue robed, white-haired man with dark and cold eyes. He stood with his sheathed Katana on the ground and both hands on the handle.

B/N: I am ready, are you?

Fairy Tail Guild Hall

Mirajane: Anything else I can get you Trish? (hands the blonde lightning demon a mug of beer)

Trish: Naw I'm good, thanks.

Mira walked away and Trish looked to her left hand with the yellow Fairy Tail emblem on it.

Erza: Hello Trish.

Trish looks up to see Erza along with Grey and Happy coming towards her.

Erza: Mind if we join you?

Trish: Knock yourselves out.

They took a seat as Trish began to drink.

Gray: So one of Y/N's partners?

Trish: Ex-Partner. Though I guess you can say we're partners again since we're in the same guild.

Happy: You liiike him!

Trish then gave a small jolt with her fingers, causing Happy to puff into a small blue fur ball with static.

Trish: What was that cat?

Happy then fainted as a small ghost came out of him.

Kat: (walks up to Happy) Tried telling him.

Gray: He was asking for that one.

Trish: Yeah and... what happened to your clothes?

The Ice Make wizard who looked down surprised at him only wearing his olive boxers.

Kat: He has a habit of taking off his clothes.

Ur: Ever since he was a kid! Never figured out where he got it from!

???: HEY TRISH!!!

Trish, Kat, Erza, and Grey all turned to Natsu who jumped onto their table.

Natsu: I want you to fight me!"

Trish: Can it wait till I finish with my drink?

Natsu: (evil smile) No it can't; cause here I come!

Natsu leaped up into the air with an evil smile and fire in both his hands; Trish, as she continued drinking, flexed her hand and blasted blue lightning at Natsu, electrocuting him to the point where one could comically see his skeleton.

Natsu fell to the ground with swirls in his eyes covered in black suit.

Kat: You shouldn't have done that, Natsu.

Erza: I'm not going to lie, I kind of saw that coming

Gray: (sighs) It's Laxus all over again.

Happy: Aye.

East Forest

Y/N had just entered the East Forest as soon as the rain began to hit. It went from a few light drops to a downpour in no time. Y/N didn't seem to mind as it seemed almost fitting; but he was focused on something else right now as he continued making his way through the forest until he reached a small clearing and saw who he was looking for standing with his back to him in the middle of it.

B/N: (slowly turns to him) You showed up.

Y/N just walked into the clearing.

Y/N: (sarcastic) You sure know how to throw a party. No food, no drinks, and not even one single babe.

B/N: My sincerest apology brother. I was so eager to see you, I couldn't concentrate on preparations for the "bash".

Y/N: Whatever. At any rate, it's been a whole year since we last met. How about a kiss from your little brother? Or better yet, how about a kiss from this?

Y/N pulled out his Ebony pistol and pointed it to B/N. The two brothers stared each other down as lightning flashed in the sky in between them.

Y/N: So, this is what they call a heartwarming family reunion, eh?

B/N: You got that right. (flicked his katana out of his scabbard)

Y/N wasted no time in firing Ebony, but B/N jumped back to avoid the magic bullets. Y/N pulled out Ivory and began to fire both guns at his elder brother. 

B/N jumped high into the air and behind Y/N to deliver a kick to his back, knocking him back to the center of the clearing. Y/N soon had B/N's katana Yamato pointed to his face.

B/N: Guns? How barbaric.

Y/N: Hey, our dad used them, so why not us? But if you're gonna be like that...

Y/N jumped back quite a distance and pulled out his sword Rebellion.

Y/N: (points Rebellion at him) Let's make it a little more classy.

Both brothers stood for a second before yelling and charging, their blades clashing as they met.

Guild Hall

Back at the guild hall, most of the guild members gathered around to see an arm wrestle between Gajeel and Trish.

Aerith: Ready? (Gajeel and Trish nodded) And... Go!

The Iron Dragon Slayer and the lightning-she demon began to arm-wrestle each other.

Gajeel: Damn! For a woman, you're pretty strong!

Trish: Thanks! The same could be said of you!

Tifa: It looks like those two are evenly matched in terms of physical strength. 

Barret: Impressive. I guess the Rust Bucket can handle himself.

The two were about to push each other down when Natsu jumped high.

Natsu: Gajeel! Trish! Let's fight!

Trish used her free hand to blast blue lightning at Natsu, electrocuting him which made him fall down.

Trish: Again? He's like a boomerang, isn't he?

Gajeel: You have no idea.

Lucy had just walked inside, but she was already soaked.

Lucy: Aw man. I just cleaned this outfit too. (reined out her skirt)

Wendy: Hey Lucy, how's it going?

She gave a small wave as she and Carla came over to her.

Lucy: Other than being soaked, I'm fine. So where are the others?

Wendy: Over there.

Wendy pointed to Happy helping the dizzy Natsu up and as the others watched Gajeel and Trish arm wrestle each other.

Lucy: Gajeel's having an arm wrestle with Trish?

Wendy: Yeah, though I think it's almost over.

Carla: Indeed. 

Trish: Gotta ask? Why does he always pick fights?

Erza: (walks over to her) That's Natsu's way of testing his own strength.

Gray: Even though he frequently gets his ass kicked.

Trish: (began to move Gajeel's arm) I can see why Y/N likes that kid so much.

Wendy: Y/N? (walks over to Trish) You, Kat, Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red worked with him before right?

Red: Of course. We were part of the same team once.

Tifa: Yeah, we've worked together.

Wendy: So what's it like being a Devil Hunter? I'm sure you had plenty of adventures together.

Kat patted Wendy on the head.

Kat: You're so cute.

Carla: Excuse me, if you don't mind me asking. What is your relationship with Y/N? 

Trish: (moves Gajeel arm some more) Look we never dated okay, why does everyone always think that?

Aerith: (whispers) Would we be nice though.

Tifa: (whispers) I hope so.

Carla: That's not what I meant. What I meant was, perhaps you could tell us more about him, we don't really know much about Y/N other than he's a skilled Devil Hunter.

Cloud: Not much to tell. Y/N's usually keeps to himself. He's a lone-wolf kinda guy.

Kat: Yeah, we know he has a family, but don't talk about them.

Lucy: But you guys did work together right?

Trish: Sometimes. (slams Gajeel arm down) YES!!!! Take that, Gear for Brain!

Gajeel: Damn it!

Cloud: Things are usually less complicated when you're alone, you don't have to really worry about anyone that way.

Gray: That's a good point.

Erza: Which does explain why Y/N usually takes solo-jobs.

Wendy: But why by himself? Doesn't he have friends who can help him?

Tifa: We tried to. But he's.........

Barrett: You could say he's stubborn and refuses to accept help much.

Wendy: That sounds kinda sad.

Happy: Aye, no one should be alone their whole life.

Lucy: Wait, what about family? Doesn't he have any relatives or anything?

Kat, Tifa, and Aerith look down in sadness which makes the wizards look at them in concern.

Lucy: What's wrong?

Kat exhaled a little bit at that question.

Kat: Well, that's actually one of the reasons he's alone.

The wizards and cats were slightly surprised at that.

Erza: What do you mean by that?

Before Kat could say anything else, Natsu shook off his dizziness.

Natsu: Hey, did you guys say "Y/N"?

Happy: Yeah, we're talking about him.

Natsu: Where is he then?

Lucy: Well, he said he had something to take care of.

Gray: Did he say what?

Lucy: No, not really.

Natsu: Well I'm gonna find him. Guy owes me a rematch!

Natsu soon ran before anyone could object and burst out the doors leaving behind a trail of dust.

Natsu: Ready or not Y/N! Here I come!

Kat, Trish, Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Red, Aerith, Ur, Lucy, Grey, Happy, Erza, Wendy, and Carla all sweat dropped at Natsu's act.

Ur: He's got no wind blowing in the windmill of his mind, doesn't he?

Lucy: (sigh) There he goes again

Carla: You surprised? He is clearly insane.

Wendy: At least he's determined.

Gray: (gets up) Well, we better go get him.

Erza: Agreed, it won't do his body good if he's unconscious in the rain too long.

Ur: Right.... I swear all he needs is a swift kick to the brain.

Happy flew after Natsu, with Gray, Ur, Juvia, Erza, and Lucy. Wendy was about to go but Carla flew in front of her, stopping her.

Carla: Hold your horses. You'll catch a cold in that weather child.

Wendy sighed in defeat as she sat down.

Wendy: I just wanted to help..

Trish patted Wendy's head as a depressed aura formed around the Sky Dragon Slayer.

Carla: I don't see a reason why you need to, it's not as if this is life or death.

Kat then saw a piece of paper as she picked it up.

Aerith: What is it?

Kat: Looks like a letter. I think Lucy's dropped it.

Kat reads the letter before she widens her eyes in shock.

Tifa: Kat? What's wrong?

Kat then immediately runs out after she let go of the letter which Tifa caught.

Carla: What was that about?

Tifa: (looks at the letter) Oh no.......

East Forest

It seemed like the lightning flashed every time Rebellion and Yamato clashed as the brothers exchanged blows. Neither sword made contact with flesh as they parried each other's blades.

The clash between the two had caused quite a bit of destruction to the forest around them; trees were uprooted and/or sliced, craters had formed, and there were blade marks on the ground as the fight made its way deeper and deeper into the forest.

When they collided again, Y/N kicked B/N in the gut, sending him into the tree. When Y/N came down with a vertical slash, B/N moved out of the way. The tree, and three more behind it were all sliced down the middle.

B/N sent a blue glowing energy wave from the slice of his blade, which Y/N rolled out of the way to avoid, resulting in the trees behind him getting sliced at their trunks.

Y/N ran and delivered the hilt of Rebellion to B/N's gut, sending him back quite a bit.

B/N: I'm impressed Y/N. You've grown quite strong since we last met.

Y/N: I've learned a few new tricks. Want to see one of them? Cerberus!

Y/N pulled out his Ice Nunchucks in a bright flash and began to flail them around, sending several shards of ice towards B/N, who cut through them all with near superhuman speed. Y/N sent two prongs of Cerberus to the ground and sent several ice spikes speeding to B/N, trapping his lower body in the ice.

B/N: You've acquired a Devil Arm.

Y/N gives a cocky smirk.

B/N: Interesting, however, you are not the only one who has acquired new additions to his arsenal. Beowulf!

In another flash of light, B/N was now wielding dark grey gauntlets and boots. 

He jumped high into the air, shattering the ice that trapped him. Y/N was caught off guard, he couldn't react when B/N landed in front of him and delivered a punch to Y/N's chest, and another as a right slug to the face, sending Y/N flying through several trees.

Y/N struggled to get up from a broken tree and rubbed his face, rubbing some blood from his mouth. Oddly enough he was smiling.

Y/N: I gotta admit, that packs a wallop. You know what else packs a wallop? Agni! Rudra!

Y/N came running as hands glowed and he was now wielding his red and blue short blades. He thrusted both forward to send a large gust of fire and wind to B/N who blocked it with his gauntlets. The fire-wind vanished, revealing smoky gauntlets before he saw Y/N a few inches away, sending his blue blade to B/N's side; blowing him back with a huge gust of wind.

B/N smacked into the back of a tree, his hair was now flowing down. He looked to see Y/N raising his red blade, which was on fire, attempting to deliver the blow on him; B/N blocked the blade with his right gauntlet.

Y/N: Fire and wind, it's a deadly combination.

The two struggled a little bit, before B/N vanished in a sudden flash, and then appeared behind him. Before Y/N could react; B/N delivered a kick with his left Beowulf boot, sending Y/N through the same tree. Y/N dug both swords into the ground to stop his momentum. He looked at B/N.

B/N: In addition to enhanced strength, Beowulf also grants an increase to my speed as well. That also makes a deadly combination.

Y/N: So you're fast too, huh? But are you faster than lightning? Nevan!

Y/N then wielded his electric scythe and sent a bolt of purple lightning at B/N, who was barely able to avoid it.

Y/N continued to send more bolts of lightning; which B/N could only avoid with his Beowulf boots. Dante was not about to give him any room to fight.

Having enough of being on the defensive, B/N slammed his boot into the ground, creating a mass of dirt flying around; causing Y/N to shield his eyes, giving B/N the opening to slam both his gauntlets towards Dante, who avoided it just in the nick of time.

B/N: You may have more Devil Arms than me, brother. However, it is clear you only recently obtained them and have not yet mastered them.

Y/N: Yeah you're right about that.... Heard you paid a visit to someone.

B/N: And what if I did?

Y/N: Well, I gotta wonder why?

B/N: If you're referring to Raven and her bandit tribe, I was merely interrogating them about your whereabouts. 

Y/N: Well, if your version of interrogating them is killing them, I hate to see what asking politely is. 

B/N: You know as well as I do that there were just killers and thieves, like lowly commoners trying to survive. And besides I don't know why you care about her, after what she did.

Y/N: She was your aunt, B/N. A member of our family.  

B/N: (chuckles) If only you knew what I knew.

Y/N: So, that's how it is. (draws Rebellion) Fine, I'm gonna beat the living shit out of you, right here and now. And maybe you'll tell me what I don't know!

B/N: (draws Yamato) If you can.

In two different flashes; their respective weapons vanished and Y/N was once again wielding Rebellion and B/N had Yamato. They each took respective stances. As the rain continued to pour and lightning continued to flash with thunder, they continued to glare; until they both jumped high into the trees and fought deeper into the forest.

(with the others)

Lucy: Natsu, wait up!

Lucy, Erza, Gray, Juvia, Ur, and Happy tried to catch up to him as they left the town and just entered the East Forest.

Happy: He's gotta be following Y/N's scent.

Gray: But why is it all the way out here? Why come here in the middle of a storm like this?

Ur: We'll ask him once we find him.

Juvia: Though I do hope my darling is okay.

The six then came to a clearing to find Natsu just standing and observing the scenery around him. When they caught up to him, they were about to yell at Natsu for going off without them, but they looked at what he was seeing and were completely shocked.

This part of the East Forest had been completely demolished. Trees were uprooted and/or sliced; craters and slice marks were littered all over the ground.

Lucy: (circular eyes) WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?!

Gray: Looks like a freaking warzone!

Happy: You think Y/N did all this?

Erza: Perhaps he was practising, he does have a large variety of weapons at his disposal.

Ur: Not likely. (walks over to something) Take a look at this!

Everyone walked to where Ur was at and saw two different sets of footprint in a patch of mud.

Ur: Looks like someone else was here.

Juvia: But where is he now?

???: Guys!!!

They turn to see Kat, Tifa, and Aerith who caught up with them.

Gray: What are you three doing here?

Kat: What else? Looking for Y/N, same as you.

Aerith: (notice the footprints) Oh no....

Tifa: So it is true... He was here.

Kat: Still here by the looks of it.

Aerith: (worried) Do you think?.......

Lucy: What are you talking about?

Kat: Not what. Who. Natsu!

Natsu took a few whiffs of the air.

Natsu: Yup. Somebody else was here too. I can smell 'em.

Happy: Someone else?

Erza: Could he be fighting with someone?

Gray: (looked at the destroyed environment around them) If he is, it's gotta be a whole army that can do this kind of damage. 

Natsu: No. It's just one other guy.

Happy: (white circular eyes) WHAT?!?!

Lucy: ONLY ONE?!?!

Juvia: DARLING!!!

Erza: It would make sense, I do not see any bodies or anything else that would indicate a large group being here.

Lucy: One? If that's true... how strong... is this guy?

Gray: He's gotta be real strong to go one-on-one with Y/N of all people.

Erza: Yes I agree.

Ur: Yeah. But it troubles me.

Tifa: (worried) We have to find him. NOW. NOW. (grabs Lucy hand and takes off)

Lucy: Wha?! Hey!

Tifa: Sorry, Lucy. But no time to stand around!

Ur, Juvia, Aerith, Kat, Natsu, Gray, and Erza then began running after them; following the scent and the trail of destruction left by the battle.

While they were running, Natsu couldn't help but notice something odd. This other scent he picked up; it smells dark, cold, twisted, and yet... Why does it smell so much like Y/N?

(with Y/N and B/N) 

Y/N and B/N jumped from tree to tree, diagonal swiping past each other in flashes of red and blue. Each time they did, sparks from their colliding swords flew up into the air.

The trees came so close together that the two were able to run on them as they continued to swing their blades at each other while running on the trees. The tree line came to an end and they were forced to jump.

They both landed on the rocky slope of a small mountain. B/N kicked Y/N back, who rolled out of the way of B/N's slash. They continued to parry swords as they moved further up the mountain. B/N was pushing Y/N back as he was moving backwards defending against his brother's blows. It was only a short time till they made it to the large, flat, top of the mountain.

(with the others)

Natsu, Erza, Gray, Lucy, Juvia, Ur, Tifa, AerithKat, and Happy moved as fast as they can, hopping to help Dante however they could. They soon came to the bottom of the same mountain and began to climb at fast rates.

Kat: (thoughts) Damn it! Why? Why did he have to appear now?!

(with Y/N and B/N)

Y/N and B/N, both took long deep breaths, both of them quite tired. However, it wasn't long before they went at it again. Y/N charged in, dragging Rebellion across the ground and colliding with B/N's Yamato. Y/N swung but B/N leapt back and delivered the hilt of the handle to Y/N's chest, sending him back.

Y/N took out Ebony and fired rapidly. B/N twirled his blade like a helicopter, catching the bullets and with a swing, tossed them back to Y/N who sliced vertically, cutting the bullets in half.

B/N: Why do you refuse to gain power? The power of our grandfather Sparda?

Y/N: It's not so complicated. I just don't like you, that's all. (point Rebellion at him) But tell me, what did Raven do?!

B/N: Even if I did tell you about what happened, it would destroy you.

Y/N growls at him, before dashing towards him, then they two clash blades with each other, both countering each other strikes, before they lock blades with each other. 

The sparks flew as the blades grinded against each other as the two brothers glared. They were at a standoff, neither willing to back down in the least. Until... 

???: Y/N!

His eyes widened, he turned around slightly to see Natsu and the others running up the mountain, calling his name again

Group: Y/N!

Y/N: (thoughts) No! Not now!

That was what B/N needed. With Y/N distracted, he flicked Rebellion out of Y/N's hands and ran Yamato through his chest.

The wizards stopped in their tracks as soon as they saw that. Their faces were evident with shock.

B/N: Foolishness Y/N, (pushed Yamato deeper) foolishness. Might control everything. And without strength, you cannot protect anything. (grabs Y/N by the jacket) Let alone yourself. But I guess she told you already, didn't she?

B/N removed Yamato from Y/N's chest and quickly snatched the red medallion from Y/N, and in one fluid motion, took Rebellion and jammed it into Y/N's chest and into the ground. 

B/N took a moment to look at the red medallion.

Natsu: YOU BASTARD!!!

Tifa: Natsu! Don't!

B/N looked up at Natsu who charged towards him.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Iron Fist!

Natsu's flaming fist made contact with B/N's face and sent him back.

Gray: Ice-Make: Lance!

Gray launched a volley of ice lances towards B/N which he jumped to avoid.  

However, he looked up to see Erza with two swords above him. She slashed both her swords down onto him, only for him to block the attack with Yamato. He landed on the ground as Natsu, Gray, Ur and Erza all glared at him.

Lucy, Kat, Aerith, Tifa, Juvia, and Happy were at Y/N Lucy covered her mouth in shock and Happy and Juvia were having tears start to flow from their eyes.

Juvia: (crying) Y/N! Wake up, say something! Please!

But to no avail, he still lied there.

Juvia: (crying) No! Don't leave me... You can't be...

Lucy's shock turned to anger as she glared at the black and dark blue robbed swordsman.

Lucy: (angry) Who the hell are you?!

B/N took note of the unexpected company.

B/N: Natsu Dragneel, the Fire Dragon Slayer. Erza Scarlet, the Fairy Queen, also known as Titania. Lucy Heartfilia, a Celestial wizard. Juvia Lockser, a water wizard. And Gray Fullbuster and Ur Milkovich, two Ice-Make wizards. What business does Fairy Tail have here?

Gray: We're the ones asking the question you bastard!

Erza: Who are you? Why did you attack Y/N? Answer me!

Tifa: (angry) And what are you doing, B/N!!!

B/N: Tifa, Kat, Aerith. You're here as well.

Ur: Don't change the subject! Why did you kill Y/N?!

Juvia: (crying) Why do you do it?! WHY take my beloved away?!

B/N: I don't see how the business between my brother and I are any concern of yours.

Natsu/Gray/Ur/Juvia/Lucy: (shocked) BROTHER?!?!

Erza: (shocked) He's... your... brother?

B/N: Indeed. I am B/N Sparda, (looks down at Y/N) and you've already met my incompetent little brother.

Aerith: Take that back, right now!

Happy: If you're his brother, then why are you attacking him?

B/N: As I said, it's none of your concern.

Erza: When you attack a fellow guild member, it becomes our concern!

B/N: (cocks a brow) So he has joined a guild. I was wondering what he's been up to recently. But this is of little importance to me. I have what I want, and I will now take my leave.

Natsu: Like hell you will!

Natsu's cheeks puffed, ready for a breath attack, and Gray put his hand to his palm ready to cast a spell as well.

Natsu: Fire Dragon...

Gray: Ice-Make...

B/N glimpsed with his cold stare and before anything else happened, he sped past Natsu and Gray with his unsheathed Yamato. As soon as he passed them, the ground exploded beneath them, sending them rolling along the ground.

Lucy & Happy: Natsu!

Ur: Gray! (turns to B/N) Alright, that does it! Ice-Make...

B/N: (appears behind her) Too slow.

Ur: (shocked) What?!

Before she could move, B/N backhands Ur away across her face, sending her crashing onto a tree.

Juvia: You will pay for killing my sweet prince! Water Lock!

Before she could trap him, he disappeared from her sight which widened her eyes in shock.

Juvia: (shocked) Where did he...

B/N: Above you.

She turned to see B/N on a tree branch over her. He jumped off before he grabbed her by the head and slammed her on the ground. 

Erza was so shocked at this man's speed, she failed to notice him coming from behind and delivered a kick to the head, knocking her back.

Tifa: Stop this, B/N!!!

B/N: Why should I? It was their choice to interfere. Just like yours.

Aerith: Your mother would be so disappointed in you!

B/N: (glares at Aerith) Don't you dare use her name in my prescenses.

Aerith: (glares back) Why shouldn't I! She would be heartbroken to see her son, walking down the same path as his uncle!

B/N had enough as he teleported and knocked Aerith down with a hand chop at the back of her neck.

B/N: I am not like Vergil, I am much better than what he was before.

Kat: Said the guy who literally stabbed his own brother just like he did!!!

B/N delivers a spinning kick at Kat to the head which sends her flying toward Tifa.

Tifa: Kat!

She caught her, but she was pushed back into a tree due to the force of the attack. Leaving only Lucy and Happy left.

B/N now sped in front of the terrified Lucy. Happy took a shaky defiant stance in front of B/N ready to fight, despite that he was terrified as well. B/N merely kicked him out of the way and lifted his blade ready to strike Lucy.

B/N: You should have stayed out of this.

But then, in a sudden flash, Lucy felt something zip in front of her and heard the sound of metal piercing flesh. She slowly opened her left eye to see what was happening, but became shocked at what she saw.

Lucy: (shocked) Y/N?

Y/N was standing in front of Lucy, his left hand in a fist blocking Y/N's katana, with the blade in his bloodied hand. His eyes were red with black irises along with red glowing veins and red lighting was surging around his body.

The others saw this as well and were surprised to say the least.

Juvia: Darling?

​​B/N: (slightly smirk) Ah, I see a devil inside you has awakened as well.

Y/N was able to throw B/N away. All looked to Y/N who had an eerie red glow around him and his breathing was heard at a slow and loud pace. 

B/N: (sheathed his katana) I will be seeing you again brother, we're not done yet.

B/N leapt off the mountain, but the wizards weren't paying attention to him anymore. They looked to their ally as he began to glow brighter and brighter.

Juvia: (worried) Darling?

Y/N pulled his arms in and opened up with a yell as he transformed into something else. Something much more demonic; a red and black monster-like creature with wings, silver horns pointing downward, claws on his hands and feet, and yellow eyes. His yell was more of an inhuman roar that reached to the heavens. 

All the wizards, even Erza, found themselves shocked beyond words at this. The roar ceased and Y/N had transformed back before falling flat on the ground. It took a while before reality set back into the wizards.

Lucy: What... just... happened?

Gray: I have no idea.

Happy: What was that? Some kind of Take-Over?

Erza: No, there was no magic seal. This was something else.

Natsu: Hey guys, his scent has changed. Y/N smells different now.

Happy: Look at his sword. (pointed at Rebellion) It's changed too.

They noticed how the skull at the handle of the blade was now open and it had horns sticking out of its eyes.

Ur: Not just that. Look. 

Ur turned Y/N over and they saw his chest.

Ur: There's nothing! He was stabbed, and there's not even a scar.

Lucy: His hand's healed too.

Lucy took up the same hand that blocked Yamato.

???: Ughhhhhh.

Everyone turned to see Kat, Tifa, and Aerith getting back up.

Aerith: (puts a hand to her head) Ughhhh. Said he's not Vergil, but that was a total move from his book.

Kat: Wait, where is he? 

Tifa: (looks around) Gone...

Juvia: Do you three know that man?

Ur: And tell me that guy is not really Y/N's brother.

Aerith: Unfortunately, it's true. B/N is indeed Y/N's older brother. 

Happy: (shocked) What?! That creepy guy is related to Y/N?!

Kat: We'll explain everything, but right now Y/N has to be taken to the guild hall.

Juvia: But what about his wounds? They vanished?

Tifa: It's because he has fully awakened his demonic powers when B/N stabbed him with Rebellion.

Happy: His demonic powers?

Aerith: Look like Kat said, take him to the guild now, talk later.

Erza: She's right. Happy, you can fly him right?

Happy nodded as he sprouted his wings and picked up the unconscious Y/N. Erza picked up his sword and they began to make their way back to the guild hall.

Natsu couldn't help but wonder what this was all about, and he was likely thinking of the same thing everyone else here was.

Natsu: (thoughts) Y/N... Who or what are you? 

Unknown to them, a raven was watching them intensely. It then took the form of Y/N's aunt who had been watching everything, even the fight between the two brothers.

Raven: Y/N...

Chapter 9 ended.
