"Hades?!",nico spluttered shocked at what he was hearing.

"Geez calm down neeks",Ellie laughed."Hades is not my dad".

Before anyone else could ask a question, a memory began to play out before their eyes.

*Scene-1*

Lyall sat silently sulking in the bar,for today was the day his bestfriend was going to become a father. Ironically instead of being happy he was moping about how he didn't confess his feelings to his bestfriend. He knew he shouldn't be sad and William's wife knew about his feelings but not bothered about it and treated him the same,he knew he shouldn't be sad when William confessed to him and he rejected them.

Lyall's biggest regret was rejecting William's proposal, thinking he would be putting him in danger. But what he didn't realize was that William already knew his secret - that he was a demigod. William had always been aware of Lyall's true nature and had accepted it, for he too was a demigod.

As he was getting lost in memories someone approached him."Lyall Flynn?",the person asked revealing their deep, rough voice."Yes?",Lyall replied turning around to see who was calling him.

The man standing infront of Lyall was familiar, something about him reminded Lyall of memories when his parents alive. Besides him stood a young man, roughly Lyall's age.The young man was ethreal and beautiful making him exactly the type of person Lyall was drawn to.

All thoughts of William vanished as soon as Lyall laid eyes on the young man. The man gazed back, openly checking him out. Before they could speak, they were interrupted by the waiter.

"Mr. Hades?" the waiter acknowledged, addressing the other man.

"Great Uncle?" Lyall asked, suddenly remembering him.

"Yes, it's me, little one," Hades replied with a gentle smile. He then introduced Lyall to the young man, Apollo.

"Apollo? Like the god Apollo?" Lyall asked his great uncle.

Hades nodded.

Before Lyall could ask about his parents in the underworld, Hades was whisked away by a group of people.

Lyall turned to Apollo, feeling a spark of connection."Hey there..."he said, his voice trailing off.

"Oh, hi handsome," Apollo replied slyly, making Lyall blush.

They started talking about themselves, and without realizing it, Lyall found himself falling for Apollo. Every word Apollo spoke was beautiful. Unnoticed by Lyall, the bar began to close for the night.

As the bar's lights flickered on, signaling closing time, Apollo glanced around, reluctant to end the night. He turned to Lyall, his eyes sparkling with interest.

"I don't want this evening to end just yet," Apollo said, his voice low and smooth. "Would you like to grab brunch with me tomorrow? Or perhaps a walk in the park?"

Lyall's heart skipped a beat. No one had asked him out on a date in a long time. He smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness.

"I'd love to," Lyall replied, trying to sound casual despite his racing heart.

Apollo's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Wonderful! I'll pick you up at 11 am?"

Lyall nodded, and Apollo handed him a small piece of paper with his number.

As they parted ways outside the bar, Lyall couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this chance encounter would lead to something special.

Apollo's voice called out as he walked away, "Looking forward to tomorrow, Lyall!"

Lyall smiled, watching Apollo disappear into the night, feeling a sense of anticipation for their upcoming date.

Three Months Later:-

Lyall and Apollo's connection had grown stronger with each passing day. Their dates were filled with laughter, adventure, and meaningful conversations.

Lyall had never felt this way about anyone before. Apollo brought light and joy into his life, and he couldn't imagine a future without him.

Apollo, too, was smitten. He admired Lyall's kindness, creativity, and resilience.

Together, they explored the city, trying new restaurants, attending art exhibits, and taking long walks along the river.

Their friends and family had grown accustomed to seeing them together, and Hades, Lyall's great-uncle, had even given his seal of approval.

As they sat on Lyall's couch, watching the sunset through the window, Apollo turned to Lyall and smiled.

"I love you," Apollo said, his voice filled with emotion.

Lyall's heart skipped a beat. "I love you too," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

They shared a tender kiss, their hearts overflowing with happiness.

*Scene - 3*

Six Months Later:-

Lyall was enjoying his life with Apollo but he dreaded the day Apollo would leave him.

In his mind he knew that day would come sooner and he was prepared for it, but when tragedy strikes,it strikes unknown.

On a fine evening while sipping his coffee,Lyall recieved a call.

"Is this Lyall Flynn speaking?" a somber voice asked over the phone.

Lyall's heart skipped a beat as he hesitated for a moment before responding, "Yes, this is Lyall."

The voice on the other end was grave. "Lyall, this is Dr. Lee from St. Michael's Hospital. I'm afraid I have some devastating news to share with you. William and his wife, Sarah, were in a fatal car accident earlier tonight."

Lyall's world stopped. "What... what are you saying?" he stammered dropping his cup of coffee on the floor.

Dr. Lee's voice was gentle but firm. "I'm so sorry, Lyall. They didn't survive. We've tried to reach their emergency contacts, but... we thought you should know."

Lyall's mind reeled as he struggled to process the news. His best friend, his confidant, his brother in every sense... gone.

"What about their daughter?" Lyall asked, his voice shaking.

"They're still trying to locate her. But Lyall, I'm afraid you're the next of kin. We need you to come down to the hospital to... to make arrangements."

Lyall's heart shattered into a million pieces. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of grief.

Lyall's feet felt heavy as he walked through the hospital corridors, the fluorescent lights above blurring together. Dr. Lee greeted him with a somber expression.

"Lyall, I'm so sorry you have to go through this," Dr. Lee said, leading him to a quiet room.

Inside, two still figures lay on separate tables, covered in white sheets. Lyall's heart cracked as he approached William and Sarah. He gently lifted the sheets, revealing their peaceful faces.

Tears streamed down Lyall's face as he whispered, "No, no, no... Why did you leave me?"

Dr. Lee handed him a box of tissues. "We've done everything we can. The police are investigating the accident."

A nurse entered with a small, tear-stained child clinging to her hand. "This is Ellie, William and Sarah's daughter."

Lyall's eyes widened as he took in the little girl's trembling form. He knelt down, opening his arms, and Ellie wrapped herself around him.

"Hello, little one," Lyall whispered, tears streaming down his face.

As Lyall signed the necessary papers, Dr. Lee placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "You're her guardian now, Lyall. Take care of yourself and Ellie."

The drive home was a blur. Lyall held Ellie close, trying to process the devastation.

Upon arriving home, Lyall carried Ellie inside, setting her down on the couch. As he looked around, his gaze fell on a note on the kitchen counter:

"My dearest Lyall,

I must leave. My duties call, and I cannot stay. I'll always cherish our moments together.

Forever yours,
Apollo"

Lyall's heart sank, feeling abandoned and lost.

*Scene -4*

Seven Years Later:-

Lyall and Lily exchanged vows on a sunny day, surrounded by friends, family, and laughter. Ellie, Lyall's 10-year-old daughter, beamed with excitement as she watched her father marry her new mother.

The atmosphere was joyful, with a sense of celebration and new beginnings. Lyall and Lily shared a warm smile as they exchanged rings, their eyes shining with happiness.

But beneath the surface, they both knew the truth. This marriage was built on a deep and abiding friendship, rather than romantic love. They had decided to spend their lives together, supporting each other and creating a loving home for Emma and Lily's daughter, Bella.

As they danced at the reception, Lyall spun Lily around, her laughter echoing through the room. They moved in perfect sync, their friendship and mutual respect palpable.

"We make a great team, don't we?" Lyall whispered in Lily's ear.

"The best," Lily replied, her smile radiant.

Ellie and Bella joined in, twirling around their parents with abandon. The four of them formed a whirlwind of happiness, a testament to the power of friendship and love in its many forms.

But amidst the crowd, a figure watched with a mix of emotions. Apollo, Lyall's former love, stood at the back, his eyes fixed on the happy couple. A bittersweet smile crossed his face as he remembered the what-ifs.

Lyall's gaze met Apollo's for a fleeting moment, a spark of acknowledgment passing between them. But Lyall's attention quickly returned to Lily, his friend and new partner.

Apollo's eyes lingered on them, a sense of closure washing over him.

As the reception drew to a close, Apollo slipped away from the crowd, his eyes locked on Ellie. He made his way to her, a gentle smile on his face.

"Ellie, my dear daughter," Apollo said, kneeling beside her. "I have a special gift for you."

Ellie's eyes widened as Apollo placed his hands on her shoulders. A warm, golden light enveloped her, and she felt an energy coursing through her veins.

"By the power of the gods," Apollo whispered, "I bless you, Ellie, daughter of Lyall. May you walk in the light of the divine, and may your heart remain pure and strong."

As Apollo's words faded, the light intensified, imbuing Ellie with divine energy. Lyall and Lily watched in awe, knowing that Apollo was bestowing a great gift upon their daughter.

When the light dissipated, Ellie's eyes sparkled with an otherworldly shine. She felt different, as if her very essence had been transformed.

"What did you do, Apollo?" Lyall asked, his voice filled with wonder.

"I made her a demigod," Apollo replied, his eyes shining with a mix of sadness and joy. "She will walk between worlds, Lyall, with the heart of a mortal and the power of the gods."

As the implications sank in, Lyall's gaze met Apollo's, gratitude and awe shining in his eyes.

As Apollo stepped back, a subtle smile on his face, Two figures emerged, their presence commanding attention.

Hades, King of the Underworld, and Hecate, Goddess of Magic, approached Ellie with deliberate strides. Their eyes gleamed with interest, their faces etched with ancient power.

"Ah, young one," Hades said, his deep voice resonating through the air. "Apollo's blessing is but the beginning. We, too, shall bestow our gifts upon you."

Hecate's eyes flashed with mystical energy. "The threads of fate weave complex patterns, Ellie. We shall strengthen those threads, granting you the power to navigate the shadows."

With a nod, Hades reached out and placed his hand on Ellie's forehead. The air around her seemed to darken, as if the very shadows themselves were coalescing into a tangible force.

Hecate followed suit, her fingers tracing intricate patterns in the air. The symbols pulsed with a fiery, magical energy, imbuing Ellie with the essence of the mystic arts.

As the dual blessings took hold, Emma's eyes shone with an otherworldly light. Her small frame glowed with an aura of darkness and magic, balancing Apollo's radiant energy.

Lyall and Lily watched in awe, aware that their daughter was being transformed into something extraordinary.

Apollo's gaze met Hades' and Hecate's, a silent understanding passing between the gods.

"The balance of power shifts," Hades said, his voice low and ominous. "Ellie's destiny will be forged in the heart of darkness and light."

Hecate's smile was enigmatic. "The threads of fate are complex, indeed. But with our blessings, Ellie will weave her own path."

As the divine energies dissipated, Ellie looked up at her parents, her eyes sparkling with wonder.
