Third POV:

After Tenma was unconscious, Tenma went back to his human form while Aither made his claws disappear. He walked towards Tenma and was confused by what Tenma said.

"Why did he call me his father, do I know him?" Aither said in his mind.

Just as Aither was about to grab Tenma, he sensed someone and immediately jumped up high. A gunshot was then heard. Aither looked and saw a police officer, it wasn't long before more of them came. When Aither tried to go close to Tenma, the police fired their guns, aiming at Aither. He had no choice but to teleport away. After Aither disappeared, two police officers went to help Tenma. The police wondering why some of the walls have cracks and some of them are nearly broken.

~At the Hospital~

After Tenma's friends, Aki-nee, coach Endou, coach Kidou, and Otonashi sensei heard what happened, they rushed to the hospital to check if he was alright. The doctor came out and told the news, apparently, Tenma didn't have any broken bones, just bruises, and scratch marks, but he will be alright. Everyone was relieved that Tenma was alright.

~Meanwhile, in Tenma's hospital room~

He laid unconscious on the bed, his wounds were healed and all bandaged up. As he was unconscious, he had a dream of him and his family.

*Flashback*

Tenma was outside running around the backyard. His father chasing him around.

"I'm gonna get you, " his dad said.

Tenma's mother watched the scene with a smile across her face. Tenma was running very fast, making him a little hard to catch. Tenma's father suddenly ran quickly and caught Tenma.

"Got you, " Tenma's father said.

He then lifted his son and put him on his shoulders. The two of them then went to Tenma's mother.

"How was it you too?" Tenma's mother asked.

"I got to admit, Tenma was really fast, " Tenma's father said, "I guess he got that speed from his old man."

He then put Tenma down.

"No, he didn't, he got it from his mother, " Tenma's mother said.

"No, it wasn't, " Tenma's father said.

"Yes it is, you had a hard time catching me when we were young, " Tenma's mother said.

"I was going easy on you that time, " Tenma's father.

"Sure, " Tenma's mother said.

The three of them then laughed together.

*End of Flashback*

Tenma then clenched his right hand into a fist as the bad ones suddenly came. From the disappearance of his father, to when he saw him in the fight. Tenma opened his eyes and bolted up.

Tenma's POV:

When I woke up, I saw that I was in a hospital room. I then looked back at the fight against my own father.

"Why?" I said in my mind.

Suddenly I heard the door open, I looked and saw my friends, coach Endou, Aki-nee, Otonashi sensei, and coach Kidou. Aki-nee ran to me and hugged.

"I'm glad your alright," she said.

I hugged her back and smiled slightly. We then let go of each other.

"Tenma, what happened back there in the alley?" coach Kidou asked.

I was hesitant to say, but I have to.

"I encountered someone from Nemesis," I replied.

"Who was it?" coach Endou asked.

I gripped my bedsheets and replied, "it was my father."

This shocked everyone.

"Your father?!" Shindou asked.

I nodded and said, "he went missing when I was young, I guess he was now working with Nemesis."

"Are you sure it was your father?" Aoi asked.

"Hai, believe or not," I replied.

I was still in disbelief that my own father was now working with them. But then I realized something, I noticed in our fight that my father's eyes were red instead of blue. I then knew something was wrong.

"Is something wrong Tenma?" Kageyama asked.

"I have a feeling that my father's not himself," I said.

"So you mean he might be brainwashed?" Otonashi sensei asked.

"Hai," I replied.

Coach Kidou then crossed his arms and said, "it seems like Nemesis had made a move already, it's most likely he would send a general to do a kidnap mission."

"Well, since now they know Tenma is the Chosen One, it is most likely they would try to kidnap him," Kurama said as he crossed his arms.

Aki-nee seemed confused by what we are talking about.

"Tenma, what do they mean you are Chosen One?" Aki-nee asked as she looked at me.

I felt guilty for not telling her. Two weeks ago, while I was training with Kidou, he told me to not tell anyone about me being the Chosen One and if I am going to tell anyone, I must know who to trust with my secret. I agreed with coach Kidou. I trust Aki-nee, but I didn't want her to worry about me. If I tell her, she might not even allow me to train or even fight. I looked at Kidou and he nodded, telling me that I can tell her or show her.

"I'll show you Aki-nee," I said and I got off my bed since my injuries were healed.

I then transformed and my wolf ears and tail appeared. I saw she was surprised. I looked down.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you Aki-nee, I just didn't want you to worry about me," I said and I gripped my fist.

I then felt her hug me. I was shocked, I was expecting her to say or do something.

"Aki-nee?" I asked.

"It's alright, I understand," Aki-nee replied, "you wanted to fight to protect right? if that is what you wanted to do, I understand. As long as you be careful, alright?"

I smiled at what she said. I hugged her back. We then let go of the hug.

"And Tenma, since your alright, you are discharged from the hospital," Shinsuke said.

"Hai," I said with a smile.

After all of us left the hospital, we headed to our homes and said goodbye to each other. Meanwhile, me, Aki-nee, Aoi, and Shinsuke walked our way home. I was very aware, making sure no one was watching or stalking us. I wonder where my father is now and if I encounter with him again, I'll try to bring him back to the way he was. I stopped walking and looked up in the sky.

"I'll save you father, I promise, " I said in my mind.

After I said that in my mind, I looked straight back and ran to catch up with my friends.

"I wonder what's gonna happen next, " I said in my mind, "if anything happens, I hope that everything will work out somehow."
