Marco Pov
I laid on the couch watching TV when my phone started ringing, when I saw it was star I answered it "Hello?" "Thank god! Marco it's destiny Star is heading to the hospital her parents are stuck in traffic can you please come I'm scared and don't know what to do.." my jaw dropped and I quickly grabbed my keys and headed there as I drove quickly I saw them taking in Star and they held me back

"Are you related to this girl?" I looked over her shoulder seeing them give oxygen to her "He's her cousin, let him through" destiny said and pulled my arm, as they took her in I watched as destiny cried beside me..what happened?

I was in the waiting room that seemed to shrink everytime the clock ticked "It's been an hour, I need to know if she's okay" destiny was holding herself and ignored me, I moved towards the desk "Is the girl they brought in, hooked up?" The woman looked up at me and back at her computer "What is the patients name" "Star butterfly" she typed quickly "A few more minutes sir" I groan and nodded "Okay, thanks"

I moved back to my seat near destiny who looked dead almost "In a few minutes" as I lay back with my head touching the beige wall I felt a head on my shoulder "It's my fault" she said softly "How?" She wiped her face "She was yelling at me about what I did, she was kinda losing breath and walked kinda funny until she passed out" she probably over worked herself "It's not your fault, she's just a little over worked okay, it happens to all of us so don't blame yourself"

she nods and relaxes "You guys can enter now" a nurse said and we entered, as they brought us to a room I saw her laying on the bed with wires hooked on her through her nose, it made me feel bad and kinda scared as I got near her eyes slowly opened and turned her head towards me "Marco.." I held her hand and she squeezed it a bit "I'm here..I'm here" a smile grew on her face and turned her head, she looked around and back at me "Hey, how you feeling?" She smiles

"I feel like a car ran over me" I looked at her eyes they were a lighter blue but at the moment they looked dark "Hey, star can you see me?" She shook her head "No, I see dark figures..like I always have" I sigh "Okay, maybe you should rest until your parents come okay?" Destiny was near me looking at her "I'm sorry star" she said with tears in her eyes "It's not your fault destiny..I was feeling like this for awhile" I raised an eyebrow "Why didn't you tell me or your parents Star?"

She looked to regret to even say it "Because, I didn't want to worry anyone, but I guess I did" I put my hand on her cheek and she blushed and slowly moved away from my touch "This wouldn't have happened if you told us sooner, but I'm just glad your okay" she smirked but didn't look at me or destiny "Oh my gosh! My baby!" Her mother pushed me and destiny aside and her father came behind also

"I'm fine mom, really I just over worked myself" her mother kissed her forehead and nurtured her, I stepped out the room and waited "Hey, thank-you for being here" I looked down and say destiny smile a bit "No problem, I'm gonna head home, tell star I'll visit her tomorrow" she nods and enters the room, I was about to leave when I heard her call me "Marco" I looked at her and walked closer "I want it to be you to take me home when they decide to let me go"

I looked at her parents, her father smiled and her mother looked a little uneasy "Star. wouldn't you want me and your father to?" She shakes her head "No, I want Marco to" I blushed a bit and cough a smile on "Okay, I will" she lifted her hand reaching for me and I let her "Promise" I chuckled a bit "I promise" as I drove home I kept thinking about Star and why she wanted me to take her home? I paid no attention and went to bed, this has been a rough night

Star Pov
After my parents talked to the nurses and doctors to fill out my papers, my mind drifted away to Marco, he was so caring and he was worried about me, of course I'm asking him for a ride home but I rather be with someone who I'm close with not counting my cousin and parents, maybe I just wanted to spend time with Marco, like before? I say up and destiny held my face

"You okay?" I nodded and sigh "Do you think asking Marco to bring me home when I'm better is a good idea?" She giggles "Well, he's single now and he cares about you, maybe you two could maybe you know kiss?" I push her away making me giggle "Destiny, I doubt we'll kiss but maybe I can make him get ice-cream and maybe hangout a bit?" "Why won't you admit you really want him to be yours? He obviously likes you and you like him? What's the issue?" I sigh and held my hand close

"It's been a day, shouldn't you like wait a week or so before dating someone new?" It was silent between us before she spoke "You've been single for months, he just got out of one, but your right maybe you two should wait for it, even though I know you two can't keep your hands off each other" I laughed and she joined me "Shut up, but that's true..it's hard" as I heard mother walk back him I turned towards her

"You'll be out in couple days, they need to do some tests, I'm going to come back tomorrow, now rest and sleep, love you dear" she kissed my head and father did as well "Can you bring Lily for me daddy?" "Of course princess" I smiled I needed my comfort and it was either Lily or junior but he's really hyper so Lily is a better option "I'll ask the nurse, she'll be here tomorrow, come now destiny let's go home" I felt destiny hug me tight "I'll visit you, love you Star" I giggled "Love you too" as they left sleep took ahold of me and I was asleep..

Next couple days..

I waited for Marco to come pick me up, I was in shorts and a tank top with my hair down in a messy way "Star, your pick up is here" I smiled and held onto Lily, she walked towards the exit and went quicker when I felt her jump onto Marco

"Hey there, miss me" I blushed and felt Marco put his arm around my waist causing me to gasp a bit "You okay?" I nodded "Yeah, hey can we like go get ice cream, I've been craving for a while now" he chuckles "Of course, I was gonna ask you if you wanted to go for a walk on the beach" I smiled and nodded "Yeah, that sounds great" as we entered his car he turned on the radio and my favorite song was on and I instantly started giggling and he joined in

"I know you wanna sing so sing Star" I nudged him and started singing, he chuckles and joins me too "You were the one thing in my way~" I giggled between them and sung the rest as it ended we made it to the shop, when I waited for my delicious treat I took Lily to use the bathroom, as I came back I heard a familiar voice "Star! Hey how are you?"

I smiled and felt arms wrap around me "Hey Nina, I'm good thanks for asking what are you doing here?" "Ice cream with my cousins, my family is in town for Christmas break" I giggled "What about you?" "Getting ice cream with Marco" "is it a date?" "No, it's not just hanging out like always" "Sure, well nice seeing you, later Star" I waved and felt Marco behind me "Who was that?" "My neighbor, did you get the ice cream?"

"Yes I did, come on" as we sat in the back of Marcos jeep we ate in silence until Marco broke it "Hey, why did you want me to bring you home instead of your parents?" I licked the last of my ice cream and licked my lips "Well, because I wanted to spend time with you, and I feel comfortable with you honestly" it was silent for a few seconds before I felt soft lips on mine...
