We meet up with Breakdown and call for a ground bridge. KO walks through and I follow behind Breakdown so we can surprise everyone.

Starscream was about to scratch Knock Out's paint when I stepped out.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you", I say with a bored expression on my face.

Starscream flinched when he saw me and said, "Blaze Wing! But I saw Megatron kill you..."

"You saw him stab me", I say still acting bored. "You didn't see me offline." I walked forward. "Now where is my uncle so that I may explain to him what happened?"

"He is... unwell... Knock Out! Take Blaze Wing and Soundwave to show her what has happened to Megatron", Starscream says.

"Yes, Starscream", Knock Out says and turns to leave as Starscream screams (for ice cream), "IT IS LORD!!!"

I chuckle and follow Knock Out to the med-bay. When we get there, I sigh at what I see. Megatron is hooked up to life support.

"Oh, Uncle... what happened to you...?", I whisper.

"The Autobots blew up the space bridge and he was caught in the blast", Knock Out says as he tries to find something to fix his arm. I growl as I look at Megatron.

Soundwave starts playing a video and I watch. It was of the space bridge explosion. Then it suddenly switched over to when Starscream found Megatron in space. He was hiding something from Lazerbeak's optics. It was after that that the video ended.

"Starscream is hiding something", I growl. Soundwave nodded. Knock Out finally found what he was looking for and decided to go get Breakdown.

Before he left, he turned to me.  "Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone."

"What do you mean?", I ask innocently. Knock Out only rolls his optics before leaving.

"So... do you want to go jump off the edge of the ship and transform before we hit the ground?", I ask Soundwave with a grin.

He only plays back Knock Out's voice and shows a video of me driving around. I briefly wonder when he got that video before mentally shrugging.

I chuckle before grinning. "I'm a special con. You wanna know why? Then follow me!", I bolt of the room before realizing I don't know where I'm going.

Soundwave followed me and I turned to him with an innocent smile on my face. "Uh... where's the flight deck?"

Soundwave starts walking down a hallway and I follow. After a few minutes, we end up on the flight deck. I grin and run to the edge of the ship and jump off. I free fall for a bit before transforming into a F-16 jet. I fly up and chuckle as I see Soundwave looking at me.

I fly around and as the wind flows past me, I sigh. I missed this feeling. After flying around for about 30 minutes or so, I fly back to the flight deck and see Soundwave still there.

I transform and cock my head to the side. "I thought you would've gone back inside by now", I say slightly confused. Soundwave doesn't say anything. 

Suddenly, I feel worry flow through the bond. I groan causing Soundwave to look at me.

"Knock Out's worried about something, probably me...", I say as I send reassurance over the bond.

Soundwave suddenly plays a mixture of voices. "He probably- thought- you did- something stupid."

"Oh.. That's true", I say as I start walking back inside. Soundwave leads me back to the med-bay where Knock Out was.

"There you are!", KO exclaims. "I thought I told you stay here!"

"You told me not to do anything stupid", I remind him.

"Whatever. I was just worried about you", he says as he pulls me into a hug.

"Knock Out", I whine. "I'm not a sparkling."

"I know. I know. I just feel like I'm responsible for you. Especially since I'm older", he says softly.

"By three minutes!", I exclaim as I pull away from the hug.

Soundwave suddenly starts playing a video and I quickly realize it's what just occurred.

"Soundwave! Why'd you record us!?", I exclaim. He just pulls up a smiley face on his visor but just for a brief second, I thought I saw his face behind the visor, causing me to freeze up.

"Blaze? Are you okay?", Knock Out asks.

"I'm fine, Cherry", I say with a grin. KO groans at the nickname and I laugh.

Suddenly,  I felt some sort of pain over a bond and I look at KO. I immediately knew that he felt it too. I thought about it for a moment before realizing who it was.

"Sire", we whispered at the same time. Soundwave immediately left and I looked at KO. "He's sick. He's sick from some sort of plague."

KO only nods before he gets a com from Starscream.

"Our Lord and Master calls", KO says sarcastically and I smile sadly as I try to figure out what Sire has contracted.

KO leaves and I decide to open a mental link to Sire.

{Sire, are you okay?} I ask with worry being sent through the bond.

{I grow weaker with every passing moment} he replies weakly.

{What did you contract?} I ask. There was a pause before he answers.

{Cybonic Plague} he answers. I sat down and stared at the floor. Cybonic Plague for Cybertronians was like the Black Plague for humans. I sent comfort and love through the bond and Sire responded back with happiness and love.

I heard a ground bridge open in the lab and I walked through the doors to see Arcee and Bumblebee. Arcee was looking for a cure while Bumblebee was looking right at me.

"You won't find the cure on there", I say softly and quietly.

Arcee whipped around and saw me. I held my servos up to show I meant no harm.

"Megatron is the only one who knows the cure", I say.

"But he's dead so I have to try to find the cure on here", Arcee says. I shake my head.

"He's not dead. He's in critical shape and hooked up to life support but if you used the cortical psychic patch, you may be able to find the cure in his mind", I say.

"And why should we trust you?", Arcee challenges.

"Because I don't want Optimus to die", I say calmly.

Arcee's faceplate was one of confusion before she remembered and her features softened.

"Thank you, Blaze Wing", she says.

"Call me Blaze", I say with a smile. "Now, I have a feeling Starscream, Knock Out, and Soundwave are on their way so I would hurry."

Arcee nods and they hide, me standing guard in the same room, cleaning up the area they were hiding under.

Soon enough, the three mechs came in and I turned to face them.

KO began telling Soundwave about how Megatron is in an endless slumber and said that it would be an act of mercy to take him off life support. I growl knowing Screamer put him up to this.

Eventually, Soundwave pointed out the cortical psychic patch. Screamer followed it and eventually discovered that it led to where I was standing.

"Blaze Wing... What is going on?", he asks.

"I think I'll let someone else explain that", I say as I step aside.

"Allow me", a familiar blue and pink femme says and shoots at the main life support before going through the ground bridge behind her. It closed soon after.

Starscream growled and turned to me. He then attempted to beat me but something stopped him. Or rather, someone.

Soundwave stood in front of me, blocking every attack Starscream made. He started playing a feed of my conversation with the Autobots.

Starscream growled and stepped back. Soundwave walked away and Starscream grinned evilly.

"Now that your protector is gone...", he says as he calls for a couple of guards.

"Take her to the brig", he says as he points at me. They nod and punch me, knocking me out.
