Appearance

Zophiel is know to have a... unique beauty to her, a more primal one, but even so, many consider her to have the face of a fair, young beauty. With messy golden blonde hair that reaches her shoulders, which she usually has in a pony tail, and braids on the side, with some hair framing her face. Deep emerald green eyes that is alight with life, and fair, unblemished skin. She stands a bit on the shorter side in height though, being no higher then 5'4, but makes up for it by being surprisingly muscular, but still thin and lithe.

Personality

"Many would agree that Zophiel is practically the opposite of her fellow angels in personality, some are even surprised she hasn't fallen and joined us in Grigori yet..."

Zophiel is extremely prideful and haughty, boasting herself to be equal or better than the strongest of Angels in the ways of leading and swordsmanship, and believes only her status as young compared to many of the higher ups, is what holds her back from being promoted any higher.

 She does not even think of failure, boasting overpowering words from a clear and unclouded voice that shows dignity befitting of a king. She abhors any discussion of her sex, displaying clear killing intent even towards her own Commander. She says with no uncertainty that the topic is never to be brought up before her. But even so, she does not display any issue in wearing clothing that shows off her body.

While she has the face of a fair, young girl, that does nothing to hide her brutal nature. She is filled with pure rage over the events of her life, and she does not bother to conceal it in the first place. She can be likened to a "berserker" during battle, her glaring eyes displaying a for joy for battle.

And suprisngly enough, she doesn't care much for humans, if not downright disliking them, even going as far as claiming them as nothing more then animals, just smart enough to talk.

But even so, Zophiel is extremely loyal to Heaven and the Angels, devoted to a fault for their cause. And cares deeply for her comrades and people alike, showing anger and hatred, grief and sadness in her own ways at the death of either her comrades or people.

Armor

Her armor is unique even among her fellow knights, made from the same angelic material as the others, making it highly durable towards magical and physical attacks, both demonic or not. Her's is even more durable do to it's size, completly covering her figure and face interly from head to to, as such also hides her identity and gender from view, and makes her enemies mistake her for a male. 

The helmet also has a mechanism that makes the helmet retract into the armor, the horns settling on her shoulders

She can also summon and desummon her armor whenever she needs, through a few runes engraved into the armor itself, allowing it to be transfered through it's own private little pocket dimension. Connected directly to Zophiel's magical core, making so only she can have access to the pocket dimension.

Weapon

A massive holy sword named Clarent, which comes up to her shoulders in length, created from angelic metals, making it extremely durable and sharp, as well as easy to transfer her magical mana through

Like her armor, Clarent has been blessed with runes that allow Zophiel to transfer the sword to a private pocket dimension, and summoned.

Clarent has been also blessed with runes that allow Zophiel to pour her mana through the blade, which activates a mechanism that allows her to unleash an attack that is highly lethal, taking the form of pure holy mana that covers the entire blade, and when swung, unleashes a devastating attack.

Powers/Abilities

Angel Wings

 the ability of flight, though funnily enough, Zophiel isn't too fond of flying compared to other angels, saying that she feels more calm with her feet planted on solid ground

Angel/Light/Holy magic

like other angels, Zophiel has a natural affinity towards anything holy and divine, especially magic. (such as Holy Spears, which takes on a red color)

Magical Resitance

One of the things that makes her unique even among angels and other divine beings, Zophiel is heavily resistant to magical attacks of any kind, which makes her a great asset when fighting demons that rely on their unholy magic. Added with her angelic armor, she is practically a walking tank against demons and magicians alike.

Mana Burst

Through her use of magic, she can built up a "well" of pure mana, and when released can be used to a few things, like boost her own speed, make her hits harder, and even pour it through her sword and release it in a devistating attack. This form of magical prowess takes on the form of red Lightning shrouding either her form or her sword, which got her the name "The Red Angel"

Godly speed

Do to her training and through her Mana Burst, Zophiel is listed among the fastest Knights of Heaven, and when he activates her Mana Burst, red lightining covers her body, and makes her seem like a red streak when moving, she can even leave behind an afterimage of her last standing position before moving.

Supernatural strength

Is extremely strong, easily being able to handle Clarent with one hand like it's a longsword, as well as, when using her armor, can even destroy a stone golem, which are known to be some of the most durable creatures ever created.

Highly intelligent

Even though she is reckless and prideful, Zophiel is extremely intelligent, which can be seen when she discuss political and miltaristic topics, along with her knowledge on historical events. She is even called a genius by many. 

Quick relfexes

Zophiel has honed her senses to be the best they can, giving her a huge advantage when fighting, as well as keeping her reflexes on a high alert, which is useful for when fighting quick oponents.

One of the greatest Swordsman(woman) in all of Heaven

Zophiel is often praised for her talent with a sword, compared to some of the greatest Heaven has produced and known through the centuries.

Backstory

Zophiel was born in Heaven like every angel, created by the Biblical God (almost a thousand years before the events of DxD). She, much like the other angels, were created to serve God and Heaven, which she did. She quickly found her talent for warfare and swordsmanship, and added with her quick wit and prowess with Light/Holy/Angelic magic, albeit on the more "destructive" side, rose swiftly through the ranks of the Heavenly Army, and gaining the attention of quite a few of the higher ups, namely Michael himself.

She fought in the Great War, standing on the Frontlines against the Devils and Fallen, thriving on the battlefield, and gaining a reputation as a great warrior and slayer of the unholy. Sometime during the War, Michael had approached her and offered to make Zophiel his personal knight, to which she accepted eagerly.

So over the course of the war, she fought by Michael's side, until the tragedy and despair of the ending of the War, when God died, and the Angels were left leaderless and in fewer numbers.

They returned to Heaven, and with the death of the Four Satans and the large amount of casualties on all three sides of the War, they were forced into a cease fire....

And so ever since, Zophiel has continued to stay by Michael's side as he took up leadership of Heaven, and the death of God was kept a secret from all... 

Other

When the stale mate of the Three Factions began, Zophiel mostly did guard duty for Michael, as well as often traveling to the Vatican to help train and supervise the newest candidates of Holy Sword users.

As mentioned before, she hates it when people bring up her gender in any sort of topic, and will outright threaten them with no hesitation to never bring it up where she is within earshot.

During the height of the Great War, Zophiel became feared by the Devils and Fallen for her battle prowess, even having gone head to head with the likes of Phoenix, Gremory, Beal, from the Devil Side, and Kokabiel, Baraqiel and even Azazel himself from the Fallen.

She has come to see Michael as an older brother, and is often known to support and defend him in any situation.

Even though she is perfectly aware of intercourse and sexual relationships, she herself has never done it, or care about it for that matter, seeing as the rituals and preparations for an Angel to do it is without the risk of falling is "too long and troublesome" .

One of the other more notible things that set her aside from her fellow angels, is her lack of compassion and care for mortals and humans, having next to no sympathy for the "animals", seeing them as nothing but greedy hairless monkeys. The only reason she tolerates them (even most of the ones within the Church) is because God (and later on Michael) cares deeply for them.

 (Even after the creation of Brave Saints, she is mostly indifferent to the reincarnated angels, mostly just tolerating them because they were even chosen to become one)
