Personality
To put it simply, Rowan is a calm, blunt individual, most often then not seen as a rude and borderline cruel young man.
He is sarcastic and blunt, not afraid to speak his mind in the slightest. But even so, he is intelligent, cunning and most often then not, only speaking when spoken to.
He is calm and collected, almost always level headed in the most heated of situations, though even he has his moments of breakdown, panic, anger etc. he is only human after all.
However, he keeps does have a moral compass, such as never harming children and the like, along with trying to keep his word, but if a situation goes against the original deal/plan or he is backs-tabbed/betrayed, he isn't afraid to retaliate and attack first.
But all in all, he is loyal to those that have earned his trust, and would follow them to the ends of the earth if needed.
Appearance
Rowan is a young man, who many would deem rather handsome, with healthy tanned, borderline caramel skin, silver/white hair.
He isn't among the tallest of men, standing at a height of 5'6, but makes up for it with a well developed and muscled figure from years of fighting and training. Though he isn't bulky or brutish, but more lithe, or balanced, like a mix of a runner or swimmer and martial artists.
He does have a couple scars here and there (again, from fighting and accidents in training), along with a piercing in his earlobes.
However, the most notable aspect of his appearance, his eyes eyes, which are a striking silver..
Body Type/Figure
Armor/Weapons/Equipment
Armor
His armor was designed and made in the later years of his Huntsman Academy days, designed to aid in his survival out in the world, against Grimm and other humans/faunus.
It is made from a mix of different metal alloys for protection, with the helmet having a built in respirator and comm-link, along with night and thermal (both heated and black/white) vision.
His gauntlets are also equipped with some "gadgets", his left gauntlet is equipped with a rope-hook and wrist-blade, while his right gauntlet has a small gas-tube attacked to it, from which he can ignite and use as a "mini-flamethrower", and a second wrist-blade.
It started out simple and rather dull/blank, but over the years, he has customized it with several tribal like symbols and markings.
Main Weapon
His main weapon of use is a heavily modified shotgun, which he designed while at the Huntsmen Academy.
It is capable of switching between normal spread-shot, as well as slug.
It is capable of using both normal bullets, and Dust rounds, though he usually prefers to use fire Dust.
He calls it "Paradox 14", do to it being his 14th attempt at the design.
(But simply called Paradox for short)
Side-Arm/Secondary
A heavy hand-cannon, capable of using both normal bullets and Dust rounds, he doesn't have a name for it however.
Dustsaber
His favored weapon when it comes to close-quarter-combat and melee, this weapon is an enigma in itself, it's designed as a simple hilt, made from an unknown, but extremely durable metal.
When activated, it reveals blade, made from an experimental Hardlight Dust of a black color.
It is extremely lethal, and emits an intense heat.
He has ever revealed how he acquired or made it.
(in reality, it was once apart of a project by the Atlesian Military, from which they only managed to create a single prototype... even so, how Rowan managed to get it, is a mystery)
Semblance
He has the ability to transport himself from one spot to another within his view in the blink of an eye, combined with his fighting style, makes him an extremely difficult and dangerous opponent. It drains his Aura quite a bit, and when done wrong, can leave him disoriented and nauseous, and even injure himself.
It is still yet unknown however, if his Semblance is one of such speed that makes it "look" like he teleports to a new spot, or if it is straight up teleportation.
He has decided to simply call his Semblance "Blink".
Backstory
Not much to say about Rowan's past, to those he calls friends and fellow students, Rowan grew up in a small but successful village in southern Anima, outside any of the safe and walled settlements and cities. Before he was old enough to apply to a Huntsmen Academy, and then sent to Beacon.
Which in reality is only partially true, he did grow up in the village... until he was 7 years old. The village had been hit by a horde of Grimm, destroyed and burned to the ground, and his family dead with it.
Rowan had managed to survive thanks to pure luck, and was later found by a nomadic tribe that had traveled by and saw the smoke. The entered the destroyed village and began to scavenge for anything useful, and found little Rowan.
They decided to take him with them back to their main camp, and presented him to their tribe leader... a woman by the name of Raven Branwen.
She decided to allow him to stay, if he made himself useful, to which Rowan had no choice but to accept if he wanted to survive.
From there, he was raised by the Branwen Tribe, learning their ways helping wherever he can.
When he was 12 years old, they began to teach him how to fight, handle firearms and such. Raven had even taken an interest in his training, and would often oversee his progress.
When he was 15, he took his first life, as he was permitted to join one of the Tribe's raids on a small village, where he killed one of the village guards.
After which, Raven took over most of his combat training, before sending him to join Beacon Academy at the age of 17.
While risky, she continued to keep contact with him in secret, to keep tabs on her "protege".
Family
Jay Ordell - Father - Deceased
Wisteria Ordell - Mother - Deceased
Other
Do to his heritage, Rowan has the power of a Silver Eyed Warrior, but rarely uses it, unless it is a dire situation with no other options. He inherited his eyes from his father.
His eyes are the most likely reason that Raven has an interest in Rowan (at least his most likely guess)
After the Fall of Beacon, Rowan wanders off to become a freelancer of sorts, using his skills and experience to earn money as a "part time-Hunstman" of sorts.
