Paul McCartney: John, can I ask you something about your eating?

John Lennon: what about my eating? Is there something wrong?

Paul McCartney: well, I noticed that since Monday, you ate and drink very early until the sun rose, then you wouldn't eat and drink again until it was sunset. What's going on?

John Lennon: well, it's Ramadan.

Paul McCartney: but you don't practice Islam...

John Lennon: I know, Macca. But I have a friend that practices Islam and told me about Ramadan. And I thought it'd be nice to do it with him

Paul McCartney: oh, that's nice.

John Lennon: well, God did say to help out one another, and do nice things.

John Lennon: and Paul, you can do Ramadan with me if you want

Paul McCartney: I think I'll pass. Baby girl would kick like mad all day if I don't feed her

John Lennon: Alright then. I love you

Paul McCartney: I love you too.
