After a while of almost everyone arguing and lots of work, Aqua sighed. She was having fun chopping wood with her sister, but not everyone else was enjoying the work.

"I know this is typically your thing, sunshine, but if you're trying to bring everyone together, maybe grueling manual labor isn't the best idea," Eugene pointed out and Rapunzel turned to look at him.

"Don't think of it as grueling manual labor. Think of it as creativity through destruction," Raps said with a smile.

Suddenly, there was a loud crashing sound.

"Oh! Now look what you made me do!" Feldspar glared at Old Lady Crowley.

"That was your fault, you loafer!" Crowley glared back.

"Loafer?! I've never been so insulted!" Feldspar said with a hard look on his face.

"Feldspar! Old Lady, uh, Mrs. Crowley, let's not fight! Yes, we were supposed to keep that wall, but, hey! This just gives us more work to do together!" Rapunzel intervened.

Almost everyone groaned at what Rapunzel said.

"This is why Crowley works alone," Crowley said before walking away.

Feldspar cleared his throat before saying, "I'll go get glue."

As Feldspar walked away. Part of the wall fell down to reveal a map.

"Here lies King Herz Der Sonne's lost treasure?!" Rapunzel read out as she translated the words on the map.

She turned to face everyone with a bright smile.

"You guys, wait! This is an honest to goodness treasure map!" Rapunzel exclaimed.

"I have heard the Legend of Herz Der Sonne's lost treasure. It is said to be buried in his crypt. The tale begins millennia ago-"

"Uh, Xaves," Eugene cut off Xavier. "Bottom line us, would you?"

"She's right. It's a map," Xavier confirmed with a smile.

"This is just the thing to bring everyone together!" Rapunzel said with excitement.

Aquaria was waiting outside with Varian, holding Ruddiger in her arms as her sister started to speak.

"How many of you have ever dreamed of having a treasure of untold riches?" Rapunzel asked with a grin as she looked at the citizens of Corona.

Aquaria hummed. She truly never had thought about having untold riches, being a princess and all. All she ever really dreamed of wanting was to be happy. To have a future with Varian. She would be fine if she lived in a cottage in Old Corona with Varian and Ruddiger. If she had that, she knew she would be the richest girl in the entire world.

"We are holding a Corona-wide race for the lost treasure of Herz Der Sonne!" Rapunzel exclaimed.

Everyone cheered and they were all smiling bright.

"But, wait! It gets better! Because this is about having fun together, everyone will be racing with a partner!"

Everyone then groaned.

"Who picks our partners?" Vladimir asked.

"Ah, ah! Not who... what!" Rapunzel unveiled a weird contraption.

"Couldn't we have just pulled names out of a hat?" Eugene asked.

"Oh, but it is a hat! I call it the Horotory Automated Team-builder! Or HAT!" Rapunzel explained before going over to the crank.

She spun the crank while everyone watched as a bunch of weird stuff spun around and flipped to make two balls wall into a pan.

"And our first team is... Stan and-"

"PETE! Stan and Pete!" Pete shouted excitedly.

"Angry!" Rapunzel finished.

"What?! This is an outrage! It's Stan and Pete! Everyone knows it's always Stan and Pete!" Pete sighed in defeat.

"Yeah! And I don't wanna be paired up with some dopey guard!" Angry complained.

"You're not paired up with some dopey guard! You're paired up with- oh..." It hit Stan and he frowned.

"Pascal and Max!" Rapunzel announced. "Xavier and Varian," she continued and Aqua grinned.

"You're going down, freckles," Aqua said cheekily and Varian chuckled.

"I think it's you who's going down, Bluebell," Varian replied with a smirk.

"Ruddiger and Hamuel," Rapunzel continued and Aqua frowned after seeing Ruddiger frown.

"Um, Raps! Can I make that a team of three?!" Aqua asked and Raps nodded, but everyone started complaining.

"Why does she get to pick her partner?!" Catalina complained.

"Yeah! They have an advantage with three!" Feldspar exclaimed.

"She shouldn't get an advantage just because she's Rapunzel's little sister!" Pete complained.

"We have an uneven number and how much of an advantage do you think we have?" Aqua asked as she motioned to Hamuel who was walking around with the two marbles on his eyes.

Everyone stopped complaining immediately.

"Eugene and, of course, Lance," Rapunzel said as she looked at the next two marbles and Eugene started to laugh.

"Are you kidding me? Me and Lance together, searching for treasure? Just give it to us right now, folks," Eugene said with a smirk.

"And finally, me and Feldspar!" Rapunzel ran over, but Aqua looked at Ruddiger.

"I got your back, buddy," she said with a smile and he chittered happily.

"May the best team win, m'lady," Varian said with a grin.

Aquaria looked at him and pecked his lips.

"We'll see who the winner is." She nudged him lightly.

"Okay, everyone! Take a good look at the map. Be sure to memorize it because you cannot take it with you," Rapunzel explained as everyone crowded around the map. "It's up to you and your partner, or, heh, should I say, your new bestie, to find your way to the treasure."

Aquaria was on her way with Ruddiger and Hamuel to the beach.

"Delta? Delta, are you there?" Aquaria put a hand in the water and hummed when nothing happened. "I guess she's busy."

She closed her eyes and made a horse out of the water that looked like Delta, but it wasn't.

"Come on, Ruddiger, Hamuel. We'll get to the forest faster this way!"

Ruddiger climbed up her shoulder and chittered, but Hamuel walked right into the water.

Aquaria sighed and the water lifted Hamuel into her hands. "Sit."

Hamuel fell off the horse, but Aqua grabbed him.

"Let's go." Aqua made a harness out of the water and they raced over the water beside the bridge to the mainland.

After a while of riding, they were galloping down the river through the woods.

She saw Varian and Xavier in a boat and she giggled.

"Hey there, freckles!" She raced past them and he huffed, but smiled. "Told you that you were going down!"

"She's amazing..." He murmured and Xavier chuckled.

"You two make a great pair. It reminds of the Legend of the Two Bound Souls," Xavier started and Varian groaned.

'Why couldn't I be partnered with Aqua?' Varian asked himself with a huff.

When Aquaria got to the tomb with her partners, she saw Rapunzel walking in with Feldspar and a map. She gasped and saw everyone else walking up angrily.

"Hey! Cheaters!" Stan shouted as they all came in.

"For shame!" Xavier exclaimed.

"You're cheaters!" Angry complained as they all ganged up.

"Yeah, that's right! I- but you're one to talk! You stole our balloon!" Varian glared at Angry and Aquaria looked at Rapunzel.

She knew there had to be a reason but what was the reason?

"That was well within the rules!" Stan defended Angry. "Plus, Princess Aquaria used her magic to get a ride! Why aren't you calling her a cheater?!"

"Because Aquaria's his giiirlfriiieeend~" Angry mocked and Varian glared at her.

"Turn me around so I can get in on this!" Shorty shouted from Pete's back, stuck to the sap covered guard.

They all started yelling at Feldspar and Rapunzel.

"Stop fighting and listen!" Rapunzel cried out. "No one can take that treasure! It's cursed!"

"Why should we listen to a cheater?!" Stan complained and everyone agreed.

"I'm not a cheater! Okay, you could make an argument that I did cheat, but it was to save your lives!" Rapunzel countered.

"Hey! The girl's got the treasure!" Vladimir shouted and everyone looked to see Catalina with the treasure so they all stampeded towards her.

Aqua looked at Rapunzel. "Is it true?"

"Yes!" Rapunzel said before looking at everyone. "Stop! Listen to me, everyone, please! Its says right here if you claim that treasure, we are all doomed!"

"What do you mean by doomed?" Angry asked with sass and everyone started to ask questions.

While everyone was distracted, Eugene jumped in and stole the treasure.

"No! Eugene, don't!" Rapunzel tried to stop him but it was too late.

A red beam of light spread through the room and the cavern was left in an eerie red glow.

Everyone started panicking and Aquaria clutched Ruddiger tight.

"What did you do?" Lance shoved the box into Eugene's arms.

"Oh, ten on the doom scale! Ten on the doom scale!" Varian shouted as he quickly went over to Aquaria, instinctively wanting to protect her.

The ground rumbled and the symbol above the altar started to glow red. Dead spirits came out of the caskets that lined the walls and Aquaria gasped.

"Oh, no!" She squeaked, but she was ready to fight.

"The legend is true! The Undead Protectors or Herz Der Sonne's Treasure have risen!" Xavier exclaimed.

"What?! You know, next time, lead with the-the high doom ratio legend!" Varian exclaimed in a panic.

"Eugene, put the lid back on!" Rapunzel said urgently, but it didn't work. "We have to put it back where it belongs!" She let down her hair and glared at the Protectors.

The fight began and Aquaria made a sword of water before freezing it solid. She huddled up with everyone to make a plan.

"Our only chance out of this is to put that treasure back on its altar. So let's show these mummies what Corona spirit can do!" Rapunzel exclaimed before they broke apart.

Aquaria ran at two of the Protectors but saw one going after Varian. She gasped but saw Pascal stop it from getting to him. Max back kicked the mummy's head off and Hamuel dropped a bee hive on it.

Varian started laughing before another one came at him, but before it touched him, Aquaria jumped on its back.

"Get away from my boyfriend!" She shouted before taking down the Protector.

She brushed off the skirt of her dress and smiled before Varian kissed her cheek.

"My hero," he said with a grin and she laughed.

"Come on!" They went after a few more mummies, but Rapunzel went flying over head and then she put it back on the altar.

There was a flash of red light and all the mummies spirits' went back into the coffins.

"We did it!" Pete exclaimed with a bright smile.

"I did it. Alright, we did it, but I did it mostly," Feldspar said with a smile.

"Let's all get home. Maybe we'll wait till tomorrow to keep rebuilding," Rapunzel said with a light laugh.

"Yeah, I agree," Eugene said as he held Rapunzel's hand.

Aqua hummed and ran up beside her sister.

"Rapunzel, I have a question," Aqua said and Rapunzel looked at her with a smile.

"Ask away," she replied happily.

"What happened to Cassandra?" Aqua asked, really curious as to where their friend was.

Rapunzel's smile dropped immediately. "She's... she stayed behind... she took the moonstone and turned against us..."

"What?! But Cass would never do that!" Aqua was shocked at the news.

"I know... I miss her so much..." Rapunzel looked down and Eugene squeezed her hand gently.

"We'll get her back, sunshine. I promise," Eugene said softly.

"Yeah, she's our friend," Lance said from the other side of Aqua.

"Thanks guys," Rapunzel said with a small smile.

With that, they all went back to the palace.
