Alifi ran towards Mariam,s chamber

Mariam's chamber!!!

Alifi entered inside running.

Mariam baji. Mariam baji.

Alifi exclaimed hurriedly. She tapped Mariam,s cheeks to wake her up.

Mariam baji uthiye.

Upon not getting any answer from her. Alifi took some water in her hand and sprinkled it on Mariam,s face.

Mariam finally opened her sleepy eyes and looked at Alifi.

Kya hua hai Alifi?

Mariam asked in a sleepy voice. She closed her eyes again.

Shehzadi Ali Baba. Uthiye Ali baba ko....

Unable to complete her sentence she stopped. Mariam forced her eyes open upon hearing about Ali. She held Alifi,s hand and looked at her worriedly.

Kya hua Ali ko Alifi? Kya hua unko woh theek hain na?

Mariam asked utterly tensed, her eyes laced with worry.

Alifi said, her voice broke due to crying.

Mariam got hell worried. Her heartbeat stopped for a moment and her breath got stuck in her throat. Gathering all her courage, she somehow stood up and rushed towards Ali,s chamber taking long yet tumbling steps.

Dadi jaan

Mariam whispered entering inside the chamber. She saw Ali laying on the bed unconscious and rushed to him.

Aliza looked at Mariam and let out a sarcastic smile.

Kamal hai na Ali yahan behosh thy, usse pehle dard se tadap rahe thy, tab nahin aayi aap unke paas. Aur ab aa gayin hain adakari karne jaise aapko bahot parwah hai inki.

Aliza who was sitting at Ali,s left side besides him taunted Mariam. Mariam glared at her.

Hum Ali ki kitni parwah karte hain, unse kitna pyaar karte hain, yeh baat humein kisi ko batane ya jatane ki zaroorat nahin hai. Humara Allah gawah hai humare sach ka.

Mariam said calmly. She sat besides Ali on the other side of the bed and stroked his hair. A tear rolled down her cheek seeing him like this.

Phir agar mujhe tu kabhi na mile
Humsafar mera tu bane na bane
Faslon se mera pyaar ho ga na kam
Tu na ho ga kabhi ab juda....

Ali opened his eyes Mariam smiled teary eyed looking at him as he opened his eyes.

Mariam.

Ali called out in a low voice. Mariam immediately bent down and placed a kiss on his forehead. Ali,s breath hitched and he closed his eyes in anticipation. At the very next moment, he got some blurry flashbacks but this time the voices were clear.

The flashbacks are real. The khwab poore ho rahe hain one was also real.

The lines which are written in bold letters are of Noora (Ali,s grandmother,s) and the lines which are written in simple letters are Ali,s lines.

Kabul ke ek aam insaan se kitni alag hogi shehzadi Mariam?

Tu apne muqadar ki taraf bad raha hai.

Tere har sawal ka jawab teri hi taraf bad raha hai

Milwa dia muqadar ne donon ko.

Mariam pulled away and he got up with a jerk and looked at Mariam, then he looked at Noora dadi. He stood up immediately and walked to Noora dadi.

Ali.

Mariam and Aliza called out in unison worriedly.

Main apne muqadar ki taraf bad raha hoon. Mere har sawal ka jawab meri hi taraf bad raha hai iska matlab Kya hai?

Ali asked. Mariam got shocked along with Aliza. Noora dadi smiled through tears and patted his cheek.

Waqt aane per tujhe sab pata chal jayega.

Noor dadi said smilingly.

Abhi tu aram kar.

Noora dadi said smilingly. She patted his cheek once again and was about to go but stopped and looked at Mariam who looked at Noora dadi confused. Noora dadi singled her through eyes to come. Mariam nodded in positive.
