Julius Flickerman's P.O.V.

"Welcome back, ladies and gentleman. We are here with District Four's Delinia Spokes and Sapphire Lyn!"

There is a long applause for the two girls.

"I'll get started with Delinia," I say, shifting in my seat to face her.

"Ok," she says with a bit of a forced smile.

"What's your life like, back in District Four, Delinia?"

"It was perfect. I have a mom and dad that are great, and I have this boyfriend..."

"Ooh what's his name?"

She smiles for real this time, "Tai."

"How long have you been together?" I pry.

"About two years."

"Nice. So, will he be doing the Games as well, for the boy's Games?"

"I sure hope he doesn't! But he told me before the Reapings that if I got picked, he would volunteer to go in with me since he can't volunteer for me... There's no stopping that guy either," she says with a little laugh.

  "Cool, well I'm excited to meet him. Let's move on to Sapphire now."

"Yeah, whatever," Sapphire sighs, "let's get this over with."

"Sapphire, do you have an alliance at all?"

"Yeah of course I do. It's just them people from Six and Mandy from Seven."

"Why did you agree to have an alliance with them?"

"Cuz they asked me, I don't really care. They are probably all gonna die at the Bloodbath anyways," she says, inspecting her nails.

"Ok... So do you have any tributes that are intimidating to you?"

"Dunno. Maybe Jean Lawren. I feel like she has attitude issues though. Iona Flower or whatever her name is, she seems pretty good."

"What makes you think that?"

"Well, she is the only person that got a ten as a training score, besides some of the Careers of course."

"She actually is a Career. Didn't you know that?"

She raises an eyebrow at me, "How would I know that? Huh?"

Buzz!!!

I sigh, "There goes the timer. I'll see you soon I hope! I'm Julius Flickerman and that was District Four's Delinia Spokes and Sapphire Lyn, everybody!"

The crowd claps and cheers their names as they depart.

"Stay tuned for the next interview, District Five!"

District Five's Interview

"Hello everybody, and welcome back to the interviews! We are just going to get started with District Five's Sara Higgins and Cally Blue!"

There is a loud applause as the two girls come onto the stage and sit beside me.

"Sara, how are you today? You look quite fabulous!" I start off.

"Why thank you, Julius. I must say, the stylists have really done a great job this year," she comments, and receives a lot of cheers.

"So, we are all wondering, why did you volunteer, Sara?"

"Because I wanted to make my district proud by winning the Games. I also wanted to point out that the 'little' districts aren't so little. District One and Two have a lot of Victors anyways. Maybe they should let someone else win for a change. I can't even imagine how crammed it must be in their Victor Village!"

The crowd laughs, "That's a very splendid reason. Now, why did you team up with Cally here?"

"I felt really bad, because when her name got called I wanted to volunteer so badly for her, but I couldn't because I already had."

"Why did you want to volunteer for her?"

"Because she has a twin. You see, I had a sister once, until last years Games. I wanted to volunteer for her, but I wasn't old enough. She died last year on the third day and there was nothing I could do to stop that. Her and I were practically twins. I didn't want Cally and her brother to go through the same thing I did, watching your brother or sister die. So I'm here to prevent anyone from hurting Cally the best I can."

I wipe a fresh tear from my eye, "That's touching."

"Well..."

"I'm moving on to Cally," I inform Sara and the audience.

"Cally, do you think your brother will be in the next Games?"

"I hope not, but I also sorta do. I really miss him and all I want is to be with him right now."

"What's your brother's name?"

"Vance," she replies casually.

"Do you have any tributes that you like here, Cally?"

"I like Sara," she says, looking at Sara, "I also like that blind girl from District Seven."

"Yeah. Cally, I think you really surprised everyone with your training score. An eight?! Wow! You nearly blew my socks off and you're only thirteen."

"Yeah, I don't know how I pulled that off. I thought Sara would get a higher score even though she's younger than me. She seems so talented with her daggers."

Sara's cheeks grow slightly red, "Apparently you are a lot better than me, Cally."

"If you say so," she smiles.

"So your weapon of choice is a dagger?"

"Dagger or throwing knives would suffice. I kinda used some of my daggers to throw at the robots in my private session."

My eyes widened, "You used robots? I heard those are rarely used."

She shrugged as the timer went off.

"Thank you, girls. It was a pleasure. Stay tuned for District Six's I interview! I'm Julius Flickerman, and that was District Five's Sara Higgins and Cally Blue!"

District Six's Interview

"Welcome back to the interviews, ladies and gentlemen, we are here with District Six's very own Fiona Chase and Rayla Knight!" I shout and the crowd cheers.

When the two girls are settled in their seats, I start off with Fiona.

"Fiona, do you have a weapon of choice?"

"Not really. If any, I would probably use a small sword."

"Ok, do you have any arenas you are hoping to see?"

"I don't see why anyone would want to see any arena," she says, rolling her eyes.

"Ok..." I try to think of a good question, "What do you do back home?"

"Nothing much. Just the usual, eat, sleep, work. The same thing every day."

"Ok, I'm going to move on to Rayla now."

"Whatever, I don't care," Fiona says.

"Rayla, I heard from Sapphire that you two are in an alliance together."

"Well yeah, Fiona and Mandy too," she reminds me.

"Your alliance has some of the younger people in it, you do realize?"

"Yes, but so does Grace Price's alliance. I have a feeling our alliance will get farther though."

"Why is that?"

"Just because, I feel like we will."

"Ok, but you both got a four for a training score," I point out.

Rayla opens her mouth to say something but the buzzer cuts her off.

"Thank you, girls. We hope to see you for the final Games. Ladies and gentlemen, District Six's Fiona Chase and Rayla Knight!"
