Lucy's P.O.V

"Why are you following me...?" I asked, after noticing Natsu was behind me.

"I got bored and we're friends so-"

"I don't ever remember us making an agreement on being friends." I said.

"Who makes agreements anymore?" He says.

I rolled my eyes. "Leave. I want to talk to my sister by myself." I said.

"I won't leave. I'll wait out in the hall for you." He says.

"Fine..." I say and sigh.

I walked into the hospital room, Zera-san, Loke-nii and mother were sitting in chairs, Wendy's mother had just walked out of the room and father was standing beside Mavis-nee's bed. Mavis-nee looked half awake.

"Is she ok?" I asked.

"For now... Yes..." Father said.

'For now...?' I thought.

"Father... Mother can I be alone with my siblings and Zera for a few moments..." Mavis-nee said to mother and father.

"Of course Mavis." Father and mother say and leave the room.

"Mavis what happened at your house...? You just fainted naturally right? Like you were overwhelmed." Zera-san said, trying to sound reassuring.

"No... There's something I need to tell you..." Mavis-nee says.

"W-What is it?" I asked nervously.

"I am going to die..." Mavis-nee says.

Natsu's P.O.V

I had gotten bored and followed Luce. She didn't seem to notice until we were outside the room.

Once we got to the room a woman walked out.

"Natsu...?" She says surprised.

'No way... She couldn't be..."

"Mother...?" I said surprised.

"It's been a while." She says.

"Why are you-"

"Where's Zeref...?" She asked.

"He's in the waiting room talking to a younger girl." I said. "Who is she by the way...?"

"Natsu... She's your little sister." She says, she then walked away. I couldn't move, the shock was still coming to me...

Lucy's P.O.V

"W-What do you mean?" I said.

"Mavis-nee. If this is a joke, it's not very funny." Loke-nii says.

"I'm not kidding... Guys there's something I should tell you." She tried sitting up and Zera-san helped her.

"Well go ahead..." I muttered.

"When I was born... I had a very weak bone structure and very weak blood cells... Making my life end shortly... I was surprised... I wasn't even supposed to live this long... But my time will soon be up..." She says.

Zera-san was crying from this, not wanting to believe it... Loke-nii was trying hard not to cry and I... I was crying a lot.

"Don't be sad..." Mavis-nee mutters. "I'll be alive for the next few days... Don't worry."

"I-I'm sorry... I was so selfish." I whispered and cried.

"Lucy... You weren't selfish... You had a fear... And you didn't know." Mavis-nee says. "Lucy give me your hand." I nodded and held my hand out.

She took my hand and held it softly... It didn't sting... Like usual it was warm... I looked at Mavis-nee  and a tear rolled down her face...

She had held all those tears in for us for too long... That's when the realization all hit me and bursted into tears.

She didn't care about herself all she cared about was us and our future's...
