<Y/n p.o.v.>

Cardin was beating up Jaune.

Jaune had taken quite the beating.

"STOP IT" I shouted.

His team was stopping me from getting to them.

"You know that wasn't smart Jauney boy, I'll make sure they send you back to mommy in teeny, tiny little pieces" Cardin said.

"I don't care what you do to me...but you are not messing with my teammates" Jaune said.

"What, you think talk like that makes you tough, you think you're a big strong man now" Cardin asked.

Jaune chuckled.

Cardin through a punch...then hurt himself?

Jaune looked at himself, he somewhat glew.

Jaune was the kicked to the ground

"All right then Jauney boy, let's see how much of a man you really are" Cardin said.

Before I could intervene we heard a loud roar.

A large Ursa smashed through the trees.

He stood up on his hind legs, sniffing the air.

He was smelling the sap on Cardin's armor.

"That's a big Ursa" Russel said as he, Dove, and Sky ran away.

Cardin was smacked to the side.

Whilst the Ursa was distracted with Cardin I ran to Jaune.

"Jaune are you ok" I asked.

"Y-Yeah, but the Ursa" He said.

"Leave it to Cardin, he's got this" I said.

As Cardin tried to defend himself with his mace the Ursa knocked it away.

"I'm sure he's got this" I said.

"HE'S GONNA DIE" Jaune said.

"And he'll taste very sweet with that sap on him" I said.

Jaune was not amused.

Cardin got up and tried to run away but the Ursa jumped in front of him.

The Ursa smacked him to the ground.

Cardin tried crawling away.

I noticed Pyrrha, Weiss, and Ruby arrive.

"Oh, you've come to see the show" I called.

"Y/N, HELP HIM" Ruby shouted.

"He'll be fine" I said.

The Ursa was about to eat him.

"Y/N" Ruby shouted.

"FINE I'LL HELP" I said.

As the Ursa tried to swipe at Cardin it's attack was blocked by Jaune's shield.

As the attack was halted I ran to the Ursa and gave it a big punch the head, knocking it a few metres away from us.

"Jaune, we'll take him together" I said.

"No...I'll fight it" He said.

"You sure" I asked.

"Yes" He said.

I nodded.

"Fine...but atleast let me even the playing field" I said.

I melted into his weapons, upgrading them.

"WE FIGHT AS ONE" I said.

I detected that this gave Jaune a confidence boost.

The Ursa charged at us and tried to swipe us.

Jaune dodged out of the way.

As it tried to swipe again Jaune jumped into the air.

It smacked him away.

Jaune held his shield up in defense.

"Allow me to assist you" I said.

Plasma rifles appeared from the shield and opened fire on the Ursa.

The Ursa tried to defend against the laser fire.

Once I stopped firing Jaune ran at the Ursa.

He tried to make a swipe at the Ursa but it knocked him to the ground.

Once Jaune got back up he noticed his Aura was in the red.

Jaune ran at the Ursa anyway.

He came in for a swipe.

So did the Ursa.

I noticed the Ursa's arm was about to hit us.

Before I could intervene I felt a wave of magnetic energy move the shield to block the Ursa's attack.

Once the attack was blocked Jaune came in and...

SLASH!!!

He sliced it's head clean off.

I detected the source of the magnetic energy was...Pyrrha?

I understand now...it's her semblance!

But from what it appears it seems she doesn't want Jaune to know...best not ruin his spirits.

"You did it Jaune" I said melting out of his weapons.

"Yeah..." He said as he breathed heavily.

I walked over to Cardin.

"So Jaune...how long do you think it'll take for me to break his legs" I asked.

"W-WAIT...you wouldn't hurt me, I-If you did then...I'LL TELL EVERYONE YOU'RE A MACHINE" Cardin said.

I picked him up.

"Go ahead...but I must warn you" I said.

I transformed into my Endoskeleton.

He was afraid.

"I'm not sure I'll give you the chance" I said.

He was scared, so I dropped him.

I then changed into Cardin.

"Let's see how much of a man you really are" I said in Cardin's voice.

He was scared.

"Y/n that's enough" Jaune said.

I transformed back.

And I left Jaune to his own devices.

I walked to Pyrrha.

"I saw what you did there" I said.

Pyrrha winked and gave a shh.

I nodded with a smirk.

Before I could walk back to Jaune...

BOOM!!!

An explosion from the other side of the clearing could be seen.

I looked around.

Who or what shot that?!

Before I could ask who was out there a lone Beowulf charged at me.

I was about to attack it when a blue ball of energy was shot from the back of the Beowulf.

Then something jumped from the trees and onto the corpse of the Beowulf.

It was cloaked.

As it uncloaked itself it reached inside the Beowulf and...

SPLECH!!!

It ripped out the Beowulf's spine and skull.

This must be the infamous 'Demon Samurai' we've heard about.

He aimed a red laser from his helmet at us.

"W-What do we do" Ruby asked.
