This is real life, momma!

A few days later Jessica went out with her friends.
"So, Jessica.. What does it feel like to almost be married?" Her friend Alyssa asks.
She giggles and says, "Good!"
"Are you getting nervous at all?"
"Of course I am! But I'm really excited." She smiles.
"I can't believe you're getting married!.. Married, Jessica!  Like this ain't no playing house shit, this is real life, momma!"
"I know!" She laughs.
"It's crazy.. I'm terrified, but I am so happy."
"Well that's good, I'm happy for you, two.. We all are." Her other friend says as they all agree.
"Thank you guys so much.  That really makes me happy, that you all feel that way." She tears up.
"Awe, Jessica, don't get emotional, you know what that does to me!" Sarah hugs her.
"I just can't help it sometimes!" She cries harder.
"Awe, I know, sweetie." She wipes her cheek as Jessica sits back in her seat.
"I'm sure these babies just make your mind go crazy, don't they?" Her friend Melanie says as she rubs her belly.
"They do!" Jessica whines.
"Ah, they're kicking!" Melanie's voice goes high.
"Oh they love me! Did I do that? Did I make them kick?!"
"Yes, Melanie, you're magical and you made them move!" Jessica says in an irritated tone.
Sarah laughs and says, "You have to excuse her, I think she's over worked herself today and needs a nap."
"Stop treating me like I'm five!" Jessica yells at Sarah.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry!" She rubs her arm and Jessica lays her head on her shoulder.
"It's just.. People keep talking to me like I'm a little girl!  I'm so sick of it, I'M SEVENTEEN!  I'm not a kid!"
"I know, Jessica.."
Jessica pops her head up and says, "No, you don't know!  You say that you do, but you DON'T!"
"Okay, I'm sorry, sweetie.  Just breathe... Relax.." She lays Jessica's head back down and caresses the side of it.
"You wanna go get some ice cream?" Sarah asks.
"Yeah..." Jessica says in a low and tearful voice.

Danny's POV.

"It's good to be out of the house... I love my Jessie, but.. Jesus she's moody!"
His friend laughs and says, "She's getting close to the end, isn't she?"
"Yeah, she's due next month."
"Are you guys ready?"
"I mean, we're as ready as we can be I guess. I'm excited, but Joe, I'm scared."
"Hell, so would I! Are you gonna be in there when it happens?"
"When she gives birth? Of course!"
"Yuck!"
"Shut the fuck up!"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, but I just can't imagine watching that."
"Well watching it is gonna be a hell of a lot easier than doing it!"
"True. Well, anyway.. How about the wedding? Getting excited?"
"Oh yeah! I can't wait to see her walk down that isle." Danny smiles into the distance.
"Mhm.. Ready for that honeymoon?" He raises his eyebrow.
Danny comes out of his daze and looks at him like he's an idiot, "Dude, shut the fuck up!"

"Ice cream makes me happy. Thank you guys for bring me." Jessica says with a sweet smile.
"You're welcome Jess!"
"I'm sorry for the way I act sometimes.. I really don't mean to.. It just happens.." She says resting her hand on the top of her belly with her ice cream in the other.
"Awe, Jessie! Don't worry about it, sweetie."
"Yeah, we understand. It's hard making people, I'm sure." Alyssa chuckles.
Jessica let's out a small smile and rubs her hand up and down her stomach.
"Yeah.." She sighs.
"But it's gonna be so worth it when they come out and you see their little faces for the first time."
Jessica smiles and pauses for a while, before she says, "Thank you... That's what I keep reminding myself.
I am so so scared.  This is going to be the most terrifying thing I will ever have to do... But it'll be the most amazing and rewarding thing I'll ever do... I'm gonna give birth!  I'm gonna be a mom!" She smiles with happy tears in her eyes.
"And I'll be Danny Huston's wife." Her smile grows.
"You look so happy, Jessica!"
"I am!
I know it's not the ideal situation, but.. I love him.. I love him much, and in the end, I have no regrets."

Jessica got home, and Danny was still out.

"Did you have a good day, sweetie?" Dorothy asks.
"Yeah, it was fun."
"Good.  Is Danny yon his way home?"
"No, not yet.  I just talked to him, and I told him to stay out as late as he wants.. You know, enjoy his time as a single man, before he says I do." She smiles.
"Well not too much fun."
Jessica chuckles and says, "No.. I know Danny, and he's not like that.  He probably won't even listen and just come home early.  That sweet boy!"
Dorothy smiles and says, "He is a sweet boy."
She sighs, then says, "Why don't you go change?  You look so cute, but I can't even imagine how uncomfortable you must be."
"Yeah, I am.  Uh.. Mom?"
"What, baby?"
"Can you make us some hot chocolate and come sit with me in my room, like when I was little?"
"Sure, sweetie." She smiles.

Jessica goes upstairs and changes into one of Danny's oversized T shirts, and some booty shorts, then sits her bed and waits for her mom.

Dorothy walks in and hands her, a mug of hot chocolate.
"Here you go, sweetie."
"Thank you."
"So, was there something you wanted to talk about?"
"Not really.  I just wanna be with you."
"Awe, that's sweet!"
Jessica smiles, and says, "But I guess I could ask a few questions!" She giggles.
"Go ahead!"
"Okay.. Were you scared to marry daddy?"
"Well yeah.. But I think everyone is.. It's only natural, to feel that way.  But I knew deep down in my heart, that it was right."
Jessica smiles and Dorothy asks, "Are you scared?"
"Well yeah.  I mean, we're seventeen.. It's hard for anyone, but being this young, it'll be harder on us.  Having twins, being in school.. I just hope we'll always have time for each other, and not drift apart after everything."
"Oh sweetie, I don't think that could happen.  I see where you're coming from, but you and Danny have something.. Something really beautiful."
"I know... It's just always in the back of my mind.  Most teen relationships don't work out, so it just scares me."
"Oh sweetie.. Well just pray about it, put it in God's hands.  I promise you that I will make sure that you two get some alone time.. Every once in a while!  It won't be a free for all, that's how you ended up with those babies in the first place!" She points to her stomach.
Jessica laughs and says, "Well thank you, we'll really appreciate that."

They drink their hot chocolate and suddenly one of the babies goes crazy.
"Oh my goodness!  What is wrong with you, child?" Jessica laughs and looks down, as she holds her stomach.
"Emilia?" Dorothy asks.
"Elaina!  Oh my gosh, she is gonna just bust right through me, I swear!" She laughs.
"Oh my goodness, I can see!  Oh Jessie, that looks painful!""
"It is!"
"You know, you used to do that to me."
"I did?" She laughs.
"Yeah.  You were very good baby until around eleven or so at night.  After that, you were a terror!"
Jessica laughs and Dorothy says, "You just slept all day long!  And I mean, all day long, Jessica!  You wouldn't move and you scared me so many times, I thought you were dead!  But then you'd wake up, and want food!  So I was up eating, with a hyper little girl jumping around inside of me at like four in the morning!" She says making her laugh.
"It's not funny, you weren't very nice to me!"
"Hey I've got two in here, I'm allowed to laugh!"
Dorothy chuckles and says, "But you know what?  When I saw your face.. Ah!  It was so cool to finally see the little jumping bean I had spent so many late nights with." She smiles.
Your beautiful beautiful little face.. it just made me cry.  It still does. " She cups her face and gets tears in her eyes.
"You are so beautiful, Jessica."
"Thank you." Jessica gives her a soft smile.
"I can't believe my baby's getting married and having babies!"
"Yeah.." She giggles.
Dorothy gives her a long, tight hug and kisses her cheek.
"Can you lay in here with me, tonight?"
"Sure baby."

Jessica laid on her back and Dorothy put her hand on her stomach.
"Hi my sweet little gandbabies!" She says in a cute voice.
"You little wiggle worms! *Giggles* Can't you let momma rest?"
"They don't know how to do that." Jessica says.
"Awww!" Dorothy laughs.

Jessica turned to her side, as they talked, and she eventually fell asleep.

Danny came in and was surprised to see Dorothy.
"Oh hi!  Sorry, I didn't know you were in here." He whispers.
"It's okay, she wanted me to sleep with her, but I can go."
"Oh no, stay!  Please!  I'll sleep downstairs, it's okay."
"No, Danny."
"No, really!  Stay with her."
"Alright... Thanks."
"Sure." He smiles.

Danny kisses Jessica's forehead and she wakes up.
She smiles and lets out a small gasp.
"Danny!" Hey eyes light up.
"Hi beautiful.  Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
"No, it's fine.  How was your day?" She says before she grabs him and kisses his lips.
"Mmm!  Well it's a whole lot better now!" He smirks.
She laughs and says, "How was it, you goon?"
"It was good.  I missed you though.  How was yours?  Did you have fun?"
"Yeah, I had ice cream!" She smiles!
"Yum!"
Jessica giggles and Danny touches her stomach and kisses it, "And how are daddy's little princesses doing?"
The girls start moving all over the place, and he says, "Oh I'm sorry, did I wake them up?"
"Oh no, they never sleep."
He laughs and says, "Why don't you two go to sleep so mommy can go night nights?  Huh?  You need to listen to your daddy."
Jessica giggles and says, "Yes you do!
So, are you gonna come to bed?  We can scooch over."
Danny chuckles and nods his head, "No, no sweetie, it's okay.  I'm gonna sleep downstairs."
"Are you sure?  I know I'm big, but I'm not that big!"
"Oh no, baby, that's not what I meant!  You and your mom stay here.. I'll see you in the morning."
"Okay.." She smiles.
He gives her a soft kiss on her lips, and says, "I love you."
"I love you too... Since you'll be so close to the kitchen in the morning, why don't you make me some breakfast?"
"Sure!" He laughs!"
"Thanks!  ..Bacon and eggs.."
"No problem!  Goodnight, beautiful."
"Night, baby."

Danny left, and Jessica had the biggest smile on her face.
Dorothy watched them, and saw nothing but pure love between the two.
In that moment, they both knew that there was nothing to worry about.
Yes, they're young, but the love they have for each other, is so strong.
Everyone has their ups and downs, but they both had a feeling, Danny and Jessica were in for something completely magical.

Jessica was so happy, she turned to her mom and giggled.
"What are you laughing at?" Dorothy smiles.
"I don't even know!"
Jessica grabs her mom's arm and puts her hand on the side of her stomach, so she could hold her as she slept, then rested her head on the pillow and fell asleep with a tiny smile still on her face.
