Hey queenies! I'm finally back from my long hiatus (fr this time 😅) Entirely sorry about being away for so long, real life matters took over so I had to put wattpad on hold. I hope you've all been well, despite corona being a pain in our ass. Things are finally starting to go back to normal here in Norway. How are your respective countries fairing with this?

I am so happy to see that I've almost reached 2.5k reads, which is insane! Thanks to everyone for checking out my work, coming back to that number of reads is quite exciting and uplifting.

My main focus is graphic designing. It's been long since I created a piece and I want to get back into it. The only GD related thing I've done in my absence is make some YT thumbnails for a friend's gaming channel. I've received positive feedback thus far and he's also experienced an increased amount of viewers/followers so that's exciting.

For my plans:

1 | I will be joining some non-commiting contests, if you guys have any good recommendations please comment in-line I'll be sure to check em out.

2 | I've decided to open a shop so I can finally start taking orders on my personal account. I'll also be uploading some premades there. If you're interested, please check out my first graphic shop! (Coming soon)

On a more serious note, I want to address a critical topic. As everyone has probably heard by now, news broke of the latest police brutality incident in the US, the victim being George Floyd. His devastating death is mainly what's sparked many BLM protests across the world. This is unfortunately a recurring theme, he isn't the first to have died due to police brutality and this isn't the first time people have protested. Though, it appears to be a bigger movement this time compared to the latter years, because people have had enough of this bs and want a change soon. This has led to rioting, which I don't necessarily condone but we have to understand why it has escalated to that point; as Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "rioting is the language of the unheard".

Throughout this month I dedicated my time to that by showing up to demonstrations, signing petitions and just raising awareness of the situation. I hope you've all been actively participating and showing your support towards this. This is something that concerns everyone, as we all want to live in a world with harmony and equality. (I have added some useful links in my bio so do check them out when you have the chance!)

As such, I have decided to give black people a chance to shine by centering my graphic designs (for contests) around them. The real truth is black people, or just people of colour in general, need more recognition in the graphic designing community, so I hope all you designers out there can try to be a more inclusive. This goes out to writers too. That is one way to contribute to the BLM movement.

May we meet again
~ Tammy
