Bowie.
I can't say a specific song. Bowie is amazing and will forever be. I'm currently reading a biography of his life. Every chapter is amazing. He may have died fairly young but he really lived his life. He wanted success and that's what he got. He suffered throughout his journey but he didn't let that get him down. He just had that "fuck you, piss off" attitude, which I admire. If he didn't like someone he would just say how it is.
He really didn't care what people thought about him. He had long, blond hair and didn't give a shit if that was "faggy" at all. He didn't care if someone thought he couldn't play the guitar, he was just himself and didn't want to change that because someone told him to.
He liked to have sex and be with anyone he wanted or and even when he was married to Angie (bisexual as well) they had an open marriage. I don't think it ever bothered him what other people thought. To me that's what makes him so influential.
Like most, I go through different points of liking different songs. I love getting home and just dancing in my bedroom because no one's there and it's just me. I'm happiest listening to fame and thinking I'm cool, I'm happy. Reality is the opposite but I'm happy in my bubble.
I can't express how much I love his lyrics but I really do. I'm not sure I have a good understanding of them but I think they're crazy. I think he was crazy. He was just Bowie. That was his persona. When he became Ziggy that was just his ego. When he was David Jones, a mod he was Bowie.
Remember to take your music pills.
