BROKEN UP - PART 2

- continues on the same evening -

"tae! what the hell? baby, are you crazy?" jimin freaks out, gripping tae's shoulders and shaking him vigorously.

jimin and hoseok decided to visit tae but when they had entered the dorm with a spare key that tae had given them, the room was empty.

as soon as tae opens the door, the duo rush up to him, bombarding him with questions.
and that leads to now...

"yes! minnie, i love him. with all my heart and i can't not be with him. so i told him to prove his love." tae giggles, cheeks turning red as he fiddles with the hem of the shirt.

jimin and hoseok exchange glances, noticing how tae spoke about jeongguk with heart eyes and rosy cheeks and the fact that he was wearing one of the jock's shirts.

both the orange head and the red head smile, happy seeing tae with a smile.

"alright bear, and what did he say?" hoseok asks, eyes lighting up in excitement.

"he said that by the fifth day, i won't be able to resist him." the boy giggles, blushing wildly.

"five days? impressive jeon." jimin mumbles, threading his fingers through tae's head that was resting on his lap.

[day 1] – love notes
pushing his glasses into place, the blond jots down the notes needed for biology.
his notebook filled with bright inks of pens and loads of coloured highlighters.

the bell rings indicating break and tae looks up, wondering where jeongguk is.
he packs his bag and slips out the door, the students smirking as they eye tae looking exceptionally showy in his outfit today.

[a/n : ^ shorts]

"don't you have any other shoes baby?" hoseok asks, raising an eyebrow at his shoes.

"m'a broke college student hobi." tae giggles, grabbing his books needed from his locker.

as soon as tae turns around, he's met face to face with the tall, not to mention handsome, ravenette named jeongguk.

"for my love." jeongguk winks, handing the boy a piece of fancy paper before walking away.

the boy is left speechless, rosy cheeks and his plump, pink lips parted slightly.
he looks down at the card in his hands, jimin and hoseok smiling at the younger.

"well? read it!" hoseok squeals.

i still get butterflies
even though i see you
a hundred times.

he squeaks in embarrassment as his cheeks turn a brighter red from reading.
tae's heart fluttering rapidly, holding the more close to his heart and sighing in content.

before jimin and hoseok could question the boy's actions, the bell rang and tae giggles.
he smiles sweetly at both his best friends before running off to his math class.

walking into his math class, tae sets his things onto his desk, keeping the note safe in his bag.
settling down in his seat, he takes a deep breath to calm his rapid beating heart.
that is until, the ravenette strikes again.

"another one." jeongguk whispers into tae's ears, sending shivers down his spine.

tae looks up at the male, nibbling on his bottom lip as his cheeks heart up.
the older chuckles, runs his fingers through tae's soft locks and walks off to his seat.

i used to think dreams
never came true, but this
changed quickly when
i met you.

jeongguk smiles softly, his heart beating at ease seeing tae holding his note close to his heart.
the boy couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and happiness knowing that he's the one who's making the boy smile.

his smile soon turns into a frown from the fact that he has made the love of his life cry his heart out because of his stupidity.

"not happening again." jeongguk mumbles.

- lunch -

walking out to the courtyard, tae hums in delight as the warm sun hits his honey skin.
everyone in the courtyard glances at him, jaws dropping at how he glows with the sunlight.

"tae!" jimin shouts, waving his hand.

tae giggles, rushing over to his best friends.
he plops down and quickly opens his bag, taking out his cling-wrapped sandwich.

"the last one for today." a sudden voice from behind him causes the blond to jump.

"y-yah! ggukie ~ don't s-scare me." tae whines, hitting the older playfully on his shoulder.

"sorry baby, but enjoy." jeongguk chuckles, handing tae a note and walks away.

excitedly, the boy reads the note, ignoring the stares of jimin and hoseok.

you're not just my life,

"i love him so much." the blond smiles, so much love and joy radiates from it.

"i hope he does too." jimin mumbles.

[day 2] – appreciates
the blond smiles at the paper in his hands.
just getting back their math test papers, groans of sadness and disappointment could be heard throughout the room as students got their test papers back.

"who's the highest prof?" a students with blond hair asks.

"isn't it obvious dumbass. taehyung, duh." another students replies, slapping the blond's head lightly.

the professor smiles, tae giggling softly as his cheeks turn a dark red for the attention.
jimin, beside him peers over to tae's test paper and gasps loudly in shock.

"how the fuck can someone get a 98 out of 100 for a math test?" jimin shouts in disbelief.

the entire class was now silent, jaw dropped in shock at the statement of tae getting a 98.
jeongguk, however, smiles as he overflows with pride of his love getting such an amazing result.

just as the bell rings, everyone packs up and rushes out the door to the next class.
jeongguk quickly walks over to tae, placing a folded but wrinkled piece of paper on his desk.

"good job on the test baby." jeongguk winks.

tae giggles and mumbles a soft 'thank you'.
once jeongguk slips out of class, the blond unfold the paper as he makes his way to his next class which is just next door.

tae could feel his heart beat quickening and his cheeks burning harsher than ever.
smiling wildly at the note, the boy stuffs it into his bag, neatly, before settling in his seat.

"um e-excuse m-me." a soft, nervous voice calls out, snapping tae out of his zone.

"y-yes?" tae squeaks, cheeks pink.

he looks up to find a male the same height as tae, with soft pink hair.
a nervous yet friendly smile playing on his lips as he shifts from one leg to another.
the boy nibbling on his bottom lip.

"c-can i sit there o-or is the s-seat taken?" the boy asks, tugging on his bag strap.

"of course, are you new here?" the blond asks, showing off his boxy smile.

"i am, i just arrived in seoul from thailand last night. i have a super long name, so bambam will do." the pinkette smiles gently, his cheeks a soft pink.

"o-oh! you're korean is so good! m'taehyung, kim taehyung. taetae is good." tae giggles, very amused by the adorable thai male.

"well, i've lived here for about three years before moving back to thailand for a few months to visit my family. and i also h-have a k-korean b-boyfriend." bambam blushes profusely as he speaks about his lover.

"oh ho! bambam! you little cutie! is your boyfriend in seoul right now?"

"he actually goes here, but i haven't seen him since i just arrived in time for this class. principal talks a lot because i took online classes while i was away. maybe you'll meet him later." bambam giggles.

as the two adorable boys talk and giggle, learn about each other, the sound of heels clicking the floor is heard and everyone goes silent.

the teacher walks in and immediately begins to teach, not bothering about introducing bambam to the class.

- lunch -

"i can't wait to meet your boyfriend bambam! he better be treating you good." tae warns, their arms interlocked happily.

"of course he does. we've been together for about two years." bambam smiles.

just as the boy step out into the courtyard, jeongguk appears in front of tae, smiling gently at the blond.

"for you baby." the tall ravenette smiles, eyeing the pinkette beside tae.

"t-thank you g-ggukie." tae whispers, cheeks flushing a bright pink.

jeongguk nods and walks away, disappearing from sight as bambam stares in shock.

"who was that and what is that?" bambam asks, his eyes filled with excitement.

"t-that's jeon jeongguk, a jock who was my boyfriend. he broke up with me claiming he lost love but he said that he was wrong and now he's trying to win me back. well, it's working tremendously well. and he said five days." tae gushes as bambam looks at his new friend with his eyes sparkling.

"that's so sweet! taetae! you're so lucky. but what's written on the paper." the pinkette squeals loudly as he shakes in excitement.

tae giggles and opens up the folded paper, not caring that bambam could look over.

unknowingly, the blond lifts up his hand.
his fingers grazing over his soft lips as he nibbles onto his bottom lip cutely.
his cheeks flare up and turn pink as bambam squeezes the boy tightly.

"he truly does love you if he can describe his feelings so poetically and with such detail." bambam says softly, squeezing tae's shoulder gently.

"i know, i love him too." tae smiles.

"now, where's your boyfriend?" the blond looks at bambam, smiling as he sees the blush growing on his cheeks.

"baby!" a voice calls out, causing the entire courtyard to stop what they're doing and face the direction of a ravenette with a bright smile playing on his lips.

"yuggie!" bambam squeals and runs towards the male, jumping into his embrace as he wraps his legs around the taller male's waist and arms around his neck.

tae smiles gently, walking towards the couple who was in their own little bubble.
the blond could hear the soft cries of his new adorable friend and the loving whispers of his boyfriend trying to calm him down.

"i m-missed y-you so m-much." bambam wails, peppering kisses all over yugyeom's face.

the courtyard coos in amusement of the couple smiling brightly yet crying in happiness.
sharing one last passionate kiss, yugyeom gently places bambam down onto his feet.

"oh hey tae." yugyeom smiles as he gently wipes the tears off of bambam's cheeks.

"y-you know e-each other?" bambam asks.

"of course baby. we're good friends." the ravenette chuckles at his lover.

"yet he never told me he had an adorable boyfriend." tae grumbles.

- time skip -

"bye bammie! see you tomorrow." tae hugs bambam tightly before letting the boy and his boyfriend go to their shared dorm.

as tae reaches his own dorm, he smiles at the sight of a piece of paper stuck onto the door.
he yanks it off gently, unfolding the paper.

smiles to himself, tae presses the paper close to his chest, happy with the beautiful words.

[day 3] – flowers
feeling extremely pretty today, the blond giggles as he twirls in his new skirt he had just purchased a while ago.

completing his outfit with a simple lace top, his normal casual shoes and his glasses, the boy grabs his bag and heads out his dorm.

as soon as he steps out of his dorm door, he gets showered by baby pink rose petals.
a smile carved itself on his lips as he notices the ravishing ravenette in front of him.

"g-ggukie?" tae questions as he stares in awe at how handsome jeongguk really is.

"a little flowery surprise for my pretty baby." jeongguk sings, gesturing to the rose petals surrounding the blond beauty.

tae giggles lightly as his cheeks heat up generously before he spots bambam stepping out of his dorm opposite his own.

jeongguk follows his gaze to see bambam and his boyfriend that jeongguk knows as one of his close friends, yugyeom.

"let's head to class?" jeongguk says, tae
nodding right away as the duo head out.

"taetae!" bambam squeals, his boyfriend chuckling at his adorable baby.

"hi bammie! yugyeom!" tae smiles.

- time skip -

"im jaebum! is whatever you're saying to youngjae much more important then my class?" mr park glares at the boy, crossing his arms and huffing in annoyance.

tae, with his head down as he writes notes, giggles softly at his professor's face.

"now, could you so kindly tell me the answer to question three?" mr park smiles sweetly, his eyes holding a glint of mischief.

but before jaebum could say anything, a knock was heard at the door and everyone changed their gaze towards the door.

"come in."

in comes bambam, with a sweet smile on his face and his cheeks a pretty pink colour.
an immediate smile takes over tae's lips, but he tilts his head in confusion at the beautiful bouquet of white roses in his arms.

"how can i help you bam?" mr park asks.

"a special delivery for taetae." bambam giggles, placing the bouquet on tae's desk, smiling at the boy before bowing and heading out.

the entire class freezes as tae blushes wildly at the pretty flowers, he takes the card from the flowers and reads it.

the boy couldn't help but to blush even more, hugging the bouquet to his chest, he gestures for mr park to continue the lesson.

the sweet smell of the gorgeous roses fills his lungs, a smiles engraved on his lips.

- lunch -

as soon as the blond steps out of class, he's swamped with questions of the bouquet in his hands by hoseok and jimin.

"tAETAE! ROSES FROM JEON?" jimin squeals, shaking the boy lightly.

"GET SUM TAETAE!" hoseok erupts with excitement, squeezing him.

the boy simply allows his best friends to fuss of it as he just giggles and blushes happily.
as they continue their journey to the cafeteria, they notice a ravenette with a smile on his lips and a single red rose in his hands.

"ggukie?" tae squeaks, still giddy from receiving the bouquet from jeongguk.

"i hope all this is working baby." jeongguk smiles fondly at the shorter, giving his the red rose and walking away before tae could answer.

"it definitely is." tae mumbles.

[day 4] - kisses
strutting down the hallway, the blond is accompanied with his pink cheeks as well as a pile of books in his hands.

although the boy looked like he really needed help, he still amazed everyone with his visuals.
wearing a simple outfit today, the boy couldn't help but feel giddy as today is the fourth day.

tucking the front part of the oversized white shirt into his skinny jeans, tae smiles as he sees the adorable pinkette standing by his locker.
not forgetting bambam's boyfriend, jimin and hoseok.

"hey guys." the boy smiles, huffing loudly when he dumps all his books into his locker.

"jeon's shirt?" hoseok guesses.

"yeapers." the boy smiles sweetly, hugging the life out of bambam who looked so utterly cute in his fluffy baby blue oversized sweater.

"speaking of jeongguk, where is he? he's usually all over tae by now." jimin teases the already blushing blond.

"and right you are." a voice chuckles.

jeongguk smiles his signature grin, showing off his sweet bunny smile that radiates joy.
the younger couldn't help but to smile as well.

"good morning my love." jeongguk leans down and places a soft kiss on tae's plump lips.

that simple taste of jeongguk's lips has tae driven crazy as he wants more.
however, jeongguk walks away to his class before tae or anyone could say anything.

he could still feel the ravenette's lips lingering on his plump, pink lips.

- time skip -

the blond smiles sweetly as he sees jeongguk waning against a pillar in line with his sight.
an excited grin carves onto jeongguk's lips as he yanks tae by his slim waist, bringing the shorter closer to his lean body.

"hi baby." he whispers.

"h-hi." the shorter stutters, loving the amazing smell of jeongguk as well as his safe, loving arms around his small frame.

"i see you're wearing my shirt." the boy points out, amused at that.

tae, too embarrassed, just nods with his cheeks a bright pink as he thinks about the simple peck from the ravenette earlier today.

not noticing, tae's eyes widen greatly when he feels soft lips occupying his own ones.
he soon melts into the kiss, hands tugging at jeongguk's arms lightly as a sign that he was enjoying this beautiful moment.

pulling away, jeongguk smirks.

"there's more where that came from my love."

- after school -

"i saw the kiss taetae!" bambam squeals, jimin and hoseok nodding is excitement as well.

the blond could do nothing but blush and hide his face into the pile of books in his arms.

"jeon." he hears jimin say.

"jimin." jeongguk says, sighing as he offers the group a small smile.

"i hope you know me and hoseokie are still pissed off at what you did to our baby before. but we're giving you a chance because taetae trusts you and bammie here has convinced us that you're really trying." jimin says, crossing his arms and tapping one foot.

"thank you jiminie, hoseokie. and thank you bambam." jeongguk smiles, his bunny smile that has everyone exchanging soft chuckles.

he then turns his attention to the blond who was silently watching the exchange of words.
worry filled his system when he saw the fiery glare of his best friends onto jeongguk.
but it was soon washed out when everything went smoothly.

"tomorrow's the day baby." jeongguk mumbles as his lips ghosts over tae's plump ones.

he presses a soft kiss on the luscious pink flesh before waving at the group and walking away.
the blond's cheeks never failing to sprout the pretty pink blush.

"i'm so fucking excited." hoseok says with a straight face causing jimin, bambam and tae to burst our laughing.

[day 5] - the day
excitement filling his veins, the blond ruffles his hair nicely before grabbing his backpack and heading out the door.

"damn tae." he hears a whistle behind him and immediately turns around.

"m-minnie! hi!" tae giggles.

"i love the jeans." he compliments, wrapping his arms around the shorter's waist to bring him into a hug.

"t-thank you m-minnie. where's h-hobi?" he asks, pulling away from the hug and looking behind jimin for the older."

"he went ahead first. something about helping a new student." jimin explains.

"jeon would go crazy with them jeans baby." jimin laughs as the duo make their way towards the main building for classes.

- lunch -

"taetae!" a voice squeals from behind tae, jimin and hoseok, startling them.

turning around, smiles break out as they see their adorable, energy-radiating pinkette, bambam skipping down the hallway.

"hi bammie!" tae giggles, the two hugging each other tightly and pulling away.

"them jeans are scandalous tae!" bambam giggles, huffing loudly as he shoves his books into his locker, presenting the trio with a smile.

"also, where's jeongguk? he's usually doing his deed of wooing tae." hoseok asks.

"true, i haven't seen him this entire day. partly because i don't have any classes with him for today." tae points out, adjusting the straps that go across his slim torso.

"kim taehyung?" tae head snaps up to where a boy was standing with a single red rose.

"that's me." tae smiles sweetly.

"for you, from jeon." he says and walks away.

the blond's cheeks burn a bright red as he examine the rose silently, noticing a piece of paper taped onto the stem.

courtyard

just that single word has the boy's heart thumping loudly and quickly against his rib cage that's holding the excited organ.

"well, let's go!" jimin laughs and runs to the courtyard with hoseok and bambam, leaving tae in the dust.

seems like only he doesn't know what's going on around here, hmm...

as he jogs to the courtyard, his feet come to a halt at the trail of rose petals on the floor leading towards the courtyard.

stepping foot into the courtyard, he notices that everyone has their eyes on him with soft smiles causing the boy to blush.

the sweet, melodic voice causes the blond's heart to jump and squeal in excitement.

'Cause you are the reason

the soft strumming of the strings of the guitar that tae had presented him for his birthday years ago fills the atmosphere.

I'm losing my sleep

the boy notices a male with raven hair leaning against the large tree in the middle of the courtyard, his favourite tree, the old oak tree.

Please come back now

his breath hitches when the latter walks away from the back of the tree and towards him.
a small smile decorating his face as he sings to his heart content.

There goes my mind racing

the boy also glances around the yard to see his best friends, bambam now added to the term along with jimin and hoseok.

And you are the reason

he shoves a small, heart warming smiles towards jimin, hoseok and bambam before facing the ravenette again.

That I'm still breathing

he could feel tears building up in his eyes as he feelings of jeongguk now overwhelming.

I'm hopeless now

his feet seem to have a mind of its own as they drag the blond closer to jeongguk.

I'd climb every mountain

he couldn't help but join in, the words of the song that jeongguk was singing with all his heart, touching the boy greatly.
jeongguk's eyes brightens once he realises that his baby's was singing along.

his deep, emotion-filled voice strikes everyone immensely, their eyes teary and in awe.

And swim every ocean

Just to be with you

And fix what I've broken

Oh, 'cause I need you to see

the duo harmonises beautifully causing the entire student body to smile brightly.

That you are the reason

once the singing stops as well as the soft, gentle strumming of the guitar, tae throws himself into the warm embrace of the ravenette.

obviously once he places the guitar on the ground beside them.

"baby, these jeans are an absolute sin." jeongguk huskily whispers, one of his hands travelling towards the rip right below his ass.

"it sure is." tae giggles, he arms wrapped around the taller's neck.

right after the 'show', the duo hugged the life out of each other wit jeongguk mumbling sorry's and tae giggles as tears stream down his soft, bronze cheeks.

walking away from the crowd, tae forgave the ravenette, pressing his lips gently against the taller as his cheeks blossom beautifully.

right now, jeongguk was leaning against the lockers as they wait for their friends.
arms wrapped around each other, jeongguk couldn't help but to rub the skin showing at the rip of the jeans.

"hands off my ass until we're in private mister." tae warms, sliding jeongguk's hand away from the rip and to his waist.

smiling softly, jeongguk connects their lips together, a gentle kiss.

"i love you baby." jeongguk whispers, lips ghosting over the other's.

"i love you too ggukie." the shorter whispers.

"yah, lips off each other. let's go now." jimin says, laughing at the pouting face of tae.
