Star-Splosion Week Two Review (Hosted by xanderwrites and FireFox5001)

Note: Like last week this was written in days not hours, to ensure quality.

I call this episode of February Star-Splosion in order.

Welcome back my cohost, FireFox5001.

Week 2 prepare to be reviewed.

And now all rise for this weeks theme song,

That's Closer by The Chainsmokers.

I know, but it make sense to put it in because, Starco.

Fair Enough!

Monday:

So this episode, "Mathmagic," was weird.

think the entire episode spoofed the 1993 movie, "Groundhog Day."

Mainly star goes back in tome a few minutes before she gets picked to do a math question. Oh Math, I love math.

Pfft, Nerd.

Shut up, anyway, there's always little differences to every repeat, mainly Janna's hat and punch line to that chicken joke, and Marco saying he needing it for, first a test, then an exam, then homework, what's next, so he can graduate in 36 seconds?

I wish high school is like that, except it's like how Wendy from Gravity Falls puts it.

That's true. Although yo can tell something is up when Miss Skullnick goes from Goblin back to human in a matter of seconds.

I also thought that was weird. Especially since Star, accidentally made her a goblin.

Yeah, also after Star, *cough, cough* borrowed Marco's scissors, she see's father time who is back being played by comedian Jim Gaffigan, aka the man behind those Hot Pockets jokes, and also being the father to 5 Kids!

5 kids?

Yep, 5, still less than the family in the Loud house, which is 11.

Anyway back to the subject, Star then meets, Omnitraxis Prime, voiced by Carl Weathers who is best known for his role as Apollo Creed in the Rocky Movies.

Any way he shows up and tells Star about the infinite amount of parallel universes. Which best explains everything. There's also infinite Stars including some from past episodes and some new and somewhat clever ones, such as Cat Star, Baby Star, Donut Star, a Star/Tom hybrid I guess, and one where she's dressed like Sailor Moon, which makes sense because star was based off Sailor Moon, if she were to gene splice with Mabel from Gravity Falls.

Oh My God That's so true, WHOMP, WHOMP!

Nice one, also the final answer was.........7.

What was the question 5+2?

I honestly don't know, cartoon math is hard to explain.

Thoughts on Episode 5:

It was weird, but the theme song warns you about that.

I related to star the most this episode, mainly because I hate math, no offence Xander

Its okay, its an acquired taste.

Tuesday:

Now to go to, "The Bounce Lounge."

Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy!

First off the episode started with some, extremely ugly crying.

Also apparently all Unicorns, including their disembodied heads, cry rainbows.

Basically the club they love to go to, The Bounce Lounge is closing.

*Pony head Cries*

They go there to see its closing, and found a photo wall of old photos of themselves.

Also it shows Star also had braces, I relate to that. Because I have braces.

Of course, she's trying to forget that night which was a junior prom I guess.....I don't wanna know what happened.

Same, lets not and say we did talk about that, agree.

Agreed.

After looking at an old photo of the old bounce crew, they got everyone together, two characters we met before, which was Kelly and her vegan boyfriend Tad from the episode Goblin Dogs, and two new ones, one who's a, whatever, and one that's a dolphin.

*dolphin noice*

*Looks disturbed*

I Like dolphins.

Narwhals are better. Anyway, the real reason the Bounce Lounge was closing was because, the owner Milly Sparkles, was like, a gazillion years old, then turns the disco ball into a wrecking ball.

Don't make any jokes involving Miley people.

Yeah wrong place at the wrong time.

Thoughts on Episode 6:

I thought it was a good episode, kind of brought in some new characters who may or may not come back.

I'm glad Marco is part of Star's old group and got to meet her old friends.

Wednesday:

"Crystal Clear."

Okay this was a weird episode with an incredibly stupid character.

Remember that Crystal dude from the episode they took Glossayck from Star at the worst time, well guess what, he's an Idiot.

No surprise here.

Yeah, apparently there is some dimensional fritz happening, like the building in said episode I mentioned a second ago.

But there's muffins in the lobby.

Oh Muffins. Anyway he got in trouble by, THE MAGICAL HIGH COMMISSION!

Was the all caps really necassary?

Yes, but my god this guy is stupid like for real man what the hell man you need to think before you do man.

He's literally blaming star for no reason.

Then, surprise surprise, he freezes everyone in crystal. Also cries crystals which Star turns two into earrings.

Pretty, Gross but Pretty.

Now at the end Star got everything settled and fixed up, basically the crystal dude is an huge idiot.

I think Patrick from SpongeBob is smarter than him.

Thoughs on Episode 7:

Weird but still enjoyable, kind of creates more questions than answers like a Japanese horror movie.

I like how the crystal dude rips his nipple off and gives it to Star. Like...couldn't he have just made something? XD

Thursday:

Now to end the week, *Flips on Sunglasses* The Hard Way!

Really CSI:Miami?

Well excise me for being funny.

Anyway this kind of had elements from last Wednesday's episode, "Baby," because of the apple.

And at the end bringing more of a reference to the episode, "Page Turner," because of the forbidden page.

And lastly well you know how Lu do was talking to his wand most of the season, well it turns out he wasn't crazy.

What do you mean?

You wanna know what the voice was?

Yes.

*Points Down to conveniently placed video clip*

DUH! DUH! DUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH!

Toffee's back.

Well was he ever gone?

*Confused*

Look at Ludo's wand, the skeleton hand has part of its middle finger missing, and who doesn't have a middle finger.

Gee I wonder how he lost it.

Haha nice!

Thoughts on episode 8:

I honestly think this is the best way to end the week off. I thought the Bounce Lounge was going to be my favorite episode of the week but nope, its this one.

The fact that Toffee showed up on the end kinda made me angery/worried. And Im kinda confused on Glossaric. Idk if he's stalling or if he's actually going to go evil.

Final Thoughts on Week Two:

I thought this was an awesome week, and kinda showed that there's more to come in the next week + the 27th.

It was an okay week. We learned that Toffee isn't dead, which kinda sucks, but I was expecting it.
