I got to a point somewhere in the middle when I was starting to doubt I'd finish this in time, but I am officially done! And two days before the ONC deadline, so I'm actually ahead of the game. Right? Look at me go.

This was my first attempt at writing non-fantasy, let alone mystery, and I still don't know if I pulled it off. Probably not. But hey, it was good fun trying something a bit different, and I definitely feel like I have a base from which I could expand this plot into something cool. And I have grown a little bit attached to this new gang of characters, as I always do. Tristan has been living in my head for two or three years now, but the rest of the cast are freshly created and I enjoyed getting to know them. Especially Quinn. I love Quinn. I need to revisit this project someday if only for Quinn.

But anyway! Thank you very much to everyone has checked out this book, and I hope my messy, lacklustre mystery-crafting skills didn't overly disappoint. If you're a fellow participant in the ONC, then I wish you luck going forward into the final round of judging :D
