Who turn on the lights?

I looked around and saw that the sun was out i then turned to look at the little girl and I notice that her eyes were wide open.

"K-Kirito! Wake up, Kirito!" I jumped up from the bed.

"Morning, something wrong?" He awalked into the room we were in.

"Get over her the little girl is awake!" I looked over at the girl and smiled, "I'm glad you woke up. Do you remember what happen to you yesterday?" i helped her to sit up.

She thought about the question and then shook her head.

"I see," I paused, "what about your name, can you tell us?" 

"N-Name," she paused for a moment, "My name, Yui? Yui. that's my name."

"Yui, what a nice name."  I smiled at her but I was weird to me that she had to guess herself about her name. "My name is (y/n)." I then started to point at Kirito. "And taht is Kirito."I smiled at her.

"(y/n) and Kito?" She looked at us confused.

"Hey, Yui what were you doing in the forest? Do you have a mom and dad somewhere?"I asked her.

"I don't know, I don't know anything." 

"That's awful" I said while looking out the window. 

\Kirito Pov\

I looked at (y/n) and notice that she was upset by her body language.

"Hello Yui." I sat next to her.

"Can I call you Yui?" She nodded.

"You can call me Kirito, can you say Kirito?" I smiled at her.

"Kito?" She struggled.

"Kirito, Ki-ri-to."I explained to her.

"Kito.."I laughed and then started to pat her on her head.

"Maybe it's a little hard. Whatever is easier for you." I smiled at her. She sat there and thought about it for a minute.

"Daddy."

"M-Me?" I pointed to myself nervously.

"(y/n), is Mommy."

\Your Pov\

"(u/n) is Mommy."

I looked at her confused, her face look like she was about to cry.

"That's right," I smiled, " I'm your Mommy, Yui!" I smiled at her. 

"Mommy! Daddy!"She yelled while running to me and started to hug me.

"You must be hungry, Let's tell Asuna if she can cook something for us."I said while picking her up.

"Yeah!" She yelled.

"Here you go Yui, this one is yours."I said while putting the plate down on to the table.I looked over and saw that she was staring at Kirito while he was eating his sandwich.

"Yui, this is super spicy." Kirito smiled at her. She thought about it.

"I want the same one as Daddy!"She smiled.

"I understand. if you think your ready, I won't stop you. Everything in life is an experience."Kirito said while handing Yui one of his sandwiches. She then took a big bite out of it.

This it to hot for her!!!

"I like it." She smiled.  

"You got some guts. Tonight we'll do a full course of extra-spicy." Kirito explained to her. 

"Don't tease her. I'm not going to cook that!"Asuna yelled while walking into the same room we were in.

"You heard her?" Kirito asked Yui.

"You heard her?" Yui repeated back. Then they both started to laugh.

"What do you think,Kirito?" I asked him.

"She dosen't seem to have any memories, but more importantly from the looks of things." Kirito paused.

"It's like she's regressed into a baby." I told him, I felt my eyes starting to water.

"I'm sorry I don't know what to do."I said while wiping away my tears.

"You want to take care of her. Until she regains her memory back, right?" He asked.

"Yes, but" 

"It's a tough problem. If we don't get back to the front lines, it'll take much longer for Yui to get out."Kirito explained.

"Yeah, I guess your right."

"Let's do what we can for now, judging by her gear, I can't imagine she's been fighting monsters everyday. Let's check the Towns of Beginnings, for any parents or siblings she might have." Kirito explained.

"Your right."

"I don't want to say goodbye to her, either."Kirito said while reaching for my hand.

"Kirito?"I asked.

"I don't know how to express it. It hasn't been long, but having her here has made this feel like a real home. It just feels that way."Kirito explained.

"Yeah, your right." I smiled at him.

"But it's not like we''ll never see her again and if she has a family or guardian, they've probably worried right now."

"Yeah your right, when she wakes up, we'll go to the town of beginnings."I smiled at him.

"Get ready to equip your stuff if you need to. That place is army territory."Kirito explained.

"We should me careful."I told him.

"Mommy, Daddy"

I looked over at Yui and smiled.

October 31, 2024 Floor 1: Town Of Beginnings

"I haven't been here in ages." Kirito yawned, I guess he was still tired. 

"Me either." I told him. I looked up at the sky and started to remember what happen on the first day playing SAO.

Let's not think about it right know.

Yui, do you remember any of these buildings?"I asked her. She started to look around the place.

"I don't know."

"Well, the Town of Beginnings is really big. Let's start at the central market."Kirito explained.

"Hey, Kirito,  how many people are here currently?"I asked.

"Hmm, I wonder about 6,000 players are still alive in SAO. Including the Army, around thirty percent are in the Town of Beginnings. Maybe a fewer than two thousand?"

"Well isn't the place a little empty?"

"You're right."

"Give Back The Children!"

I looked over at an ally and heard people talking.

"Kirito we have to see what's going on!" I yelled while running off to the ally where the people were talking from.

"Kirito there over there." I pointed at the group of army people.

"Lets jump over them." I nodded and started to run a bit faster. When we got to where they were We both jumped over the Army guys. I walked over to the kids.

"It's okay now, put your equipment back on." I smiled at them.

"What? Who the heck are you guys? Are you going to interfere with army mission?!"

"Wait a second. I don't know you. You do know what it means to defy the Liberation Army, right!" One of the Army men yelled getting his sword out.

"Kirito take care of Yui for me."I said while walking to the Army guy with his sword out.

I took out my sword then drew it back and hit the guy in his chest.He then fell to the ground, I then hit him once again.cI walked over to him and then I put my leg on him.

"Don't worry your HP won't decrease, no matter what. That's right. There's just a mild knock-back effect.But even still, safe zone frights are terrifying experiences." I explained to him.

He quickly got up.

"STOP!" He yelled.I quickly stabbed him again."Don't stand there do something!" He yelled.I looked at the other men and showed them my sword.They then started to yell and run .I then put my sword back into my Items.

I turned around and smiled at the children. They all looked surprise. I got really worried.

"Wow, that was amazing miss!" One of the children yelled.

"I've never seen that before." One of the boys said.

"Yeah, you were so cool!" The girl yelled.

"Thank you.." The lady said.I looked over at Kirito and smiled.

"Yui!" I quickly ran to her and Kirito.

"Yui do you remember something?"I asked her.

"I-I wasn't here, I was always alone in the dark." She then started to yell out of no where. There was a nosie. I notice Yui falling off Kirito's back. Yui!" I yelled while diving for her.

"Mommy, Mommy I'm sacred mommy. "She started crying.

"What was that?" Kirito asked. I looked at Yui with worried eyes.

"Yui."
