"The only boss room is left. Did they use some item to go home?" Klein asked.

"Ahhhhh!"

"(y/n)!" Kirito yelled while running towards the direction of the bosses room. I ran closely behind him.

That guy is such an idiot! Why would he do this to his men!

"Hey are you okay?!" Kirito yelled.
When I looked over the monster started attacking them.
"W-What are you doing, hurry up and use your teleport crystals!" I yelled at them while trying not to look at the monster.

"We can't, they don't work!" One of the men yelled back.
"But there's never been a trap like this in a boss room before." Asuna said.
"The Liberation Army will never suffer the shame of retreat! Fight we must fight on!" The commander yelled.

"Are you stupid!" I yelled at him, " you're just going to let they die!"
"Whats's going on!" Klein yelled while running to where we were.

"Crystals don't work in there. If we rush in, we might able to open a path for them." Kirito explained to him.
"Can't we do something?" Klein looked concerned.
"Men, attack !" The commander yelled.

"Give it up already!" I yelled.
My eyes quickly went to monster and I noticed he drew back his sword and hit almost all the men. One of the them went flying towards us.

"I got him!" I quickly ran diving to the ground to catch the guy falling.
"Got ya!" I then set him down on to the ground.
"Are you okay?" His helmet disappeared, I looked at him in the eyes and he started to cry.
"T-This can't be happening." The man said before disappearing in my arms.

N-No please no not again. Why must I always see people die in front of me!

I punched the ground.

"Ahhhhh!"

"No!" Asuna yelled while running towards the beast.
"Asuna!" Kirito yelled. I quickly looked up and towards the direction Asuna went.

I started to run after her. Asuna then jump in the middle of the air and started to hit the beast on his back.

The monster quickly turned around and hit Asuna to the ground, he then drew his sword back and started to aim it at Asuna.

"Faster! Run faster god damnit (y/n)." I yelled while running to Asuna. I quickly took my sword out and and hit the monster sword so it could go in a different direction.

"Fall back!" Kirito yelled at both of us. I ignored him and when for his back just like Asuna did.

"(y/n), fall back!"

"Kirito, but why were the same level!" I yelled at him.
"I don't care, I don't want you to get hurt. Now fall back!"

"Fine." I quickly ran to were Asuna and the others were.

Just in case I should get the sword that Liz gave me.

I quickly when to my items and got the sword out.

"What's that?"Asuna asked.
"Maybe you'll find out in a few minutes."

Kirito started to fight it one on one.

"Kirito! I'm coming!"
" No (y/n)!" He yelled while jumping back.
Kirito started to look around the room.

His thinking about using it.

"Kirito! Go For It!" I yelled at him while holding both my swords in the air.

"Asuna, Klein Please hold it off for a few seconds!" He jumped back and started to go through his items. I quickly ran to him.
"Are you going to use it?"
"Yes, and that doesn't mean your going to help me." He said while getting the sword.

"Okay, I'm Ready!" He yelled while running to the monster. "Switch!"

Kirito started to fright the monster one on one again Slicing the monster over and over and over.

Kirito did it. I looked over at him and saw him fall to the ground.

"K-Kirito!"

|Kirito Pov|

"Kirito! Kirito wake up!"

I open my eyes and saw that it was (y/n) crying.
"O-Ouch." I sat up from the ground.
"How long have I been out?"

"Just a few seconds, stupid!," she wiped her tears away, "That was reckless! You should've told me to help!" She began to hug me. I smiled at her.

"My HP might hit zero if you hug me so hard too hard, but there's a reason why I didn't let you fight (y/n)." I grabbed her shoulders and pushing her back so she could see my face.

"The first time you saw the monster your face expression was something I've never seen from you before. Your eyes were filled with nothing but fear. And I knew if you you were to help me maybe, just maybe you would've frozen up and stop fighting an just stand there in fear."  Her eyes started to cloud up with tears.

"I-I'm sorry, you were just trying to protect me." I patted her and hugged her.

"Corbatz and two other died." Klein said. We haven't lost a lot of people since what happen on floor 67th." I explained to him.

"How can they even call this a fight? Bloody retards! What good are if you're dead?! But holy crap man, what was that just now?" Klein asked.

"Do I really have to tell you?" I asked.
"Of course I haven't seen anything like that before!"

"It's an extra skill we learned, dual blades."  I looked at (y/n) and she was still crying and holding on to me.

"How do you activate it?"
"If we knew, we would have told you."

"It's not even in the info brokers' list. So it's just you and (y/n)? A unique skill? You both are so antisocial. Why would you to kept quiet about such an awesome skill?"

"About six months ago, dual blades just showed up in are skill window, but if finds out that we have this ability."

"Online gamers are such envious bunch. I'm a pretty virtuous guy, but I see why they would be jealous. but well just consider hardship as another part of training and keep up working hard,kiddo." He smiled.

"Oh please." I laughed at him.
"Are you going to active the next portal?"Klein asked.

"No you can do it, I'm exhausted."
"Okay, get back safe."Klein said while walking away.

"Um, Kirito? When you jumped into help the army guys."

"What about it?"
"How should I put it, I was happy. Anyway see you around." He wave and walked away with the others. I looked at (y/n) and smiled.

"Hey (y/n)."

|Your Pov|

"I was so scared. What would I do if you died?" I looked at him worried.
"What are you talking about, if I died you would have to clear the game for me."

"I'm going to take a break from the front lines." I whispered.
"T-Take a break for what?" He looked at me confused.

"I'm just tired, Im tired of putting my life on the line, hell not even mine but yours Kirito! I can't bear to see this happen to you again. So please let's take a break."

"Okay (y/n)."

October 19th 2024 Floor 50 Algade

"What do we do now Kirito and (u/n)?"Asuna paused before walking into the room we were in, "This Is completey out of hand."

"What's going on?" Kirito asked.
"Oh that's right I knew I forgot something. Well anyways I told Asuna if she wanted to take a break with us, is that fine with you?" I asked him.

"I guess it's fine," he paused, "just don't get on my nerves Asuna!"

"W-Why you brat!" Asuna stormed towards him.

Floor 55 Grandzam

"You wait here (y/n) while Asuna and I talk to Heathcliff." I nodded and watch both of them walk into the room where Heathcliff was awaiting.

I don't know what I would do with out you Kirito.
