I sat down on floor reading the same topic for the 12th time. He shouldn't have done this! Now my mind isn't focused on what it needs to be.

"Anagha?." His mom called me. I looked up to find Dr Amogh standing beside her.

"Beta, it's 4 in the evening. Will you sleep for sometime or take a break?." She asked.

" I will go for a walk. Alone." I stressed the last part as my mind needs deviation from his split personalities. My exams are just 3 days away. Everything I read till now seems alien to me, words repluse me now. All I want is unending amount of holidays, a good bed, food and lots of peace of mind. I wandered around the area inspecting every house. Dr Amogh's dad is pretty big guy during his time. One would always consult him before starting any surgery, it's a loss for him personally as well as budding doctors like us too. What I never liked about him is the way he took decisions for his son.

"Watch where you go!." I heard someone shout pulling me with them. I turned around to find a guy around my age and some woman with him. They looked scared af .

"Are you dumb and deaf?." He asked me using sign language.

"No. " I stated.

"Then what the fuck are you doing in the middle of the road? I seriously don't understand your generation! Either you are lost in phone or in your head!." He shouted making me go angry.

"I am sorry. It caused you lot of trouble. I will keep in mind to learn walking from you daily, only if you are available to take bridge course on it. Please charge me less, I have to use it on my wounds if I don't learn walking properly." I said with extra sweetness. The girl beside him laughed looking at my expression.

"Dhruv! Now come on! She is lost somewhere. Be calm." She chimed.

"Shut up Varna! You have no idea what could have happened! That Scorpio car is nothing before this petite woman." He scolded her.

"Hello? I am not petite, I am just preparing for my exams so lost weight. I am 5'8." I argued. He was about to bring the fight on but the great, almighty and every problem solver arrived at the scene. I apologized to Dhruv guy and bid goodbye to Varna who just winked at Dr Amogh.

Ladies!

" What was Dhruv saying to you?." He asked looking at me. I rolled my eyes not giving him any answer.

"How do you know he's saying something to me and his name too?." I asked him.

"He's general surgeon. His wife Varna she is a dentist. I know them since my childhood. Was watering plants when I saw you two arguing over there." Dr Amogh said trying to hold my hand.

"Look sir, it's inappropriate of you to hold hands of students. Especially the ones who are studying in your college. Nothing happened between us. I am not a child! Stop worrying sir. Can you please leave me for 20 min alone? I just wanna be alone. Do you know meaning of it? Leave me alone! Or better send me back home!." I shouted in the middle of the road. He just gave me a small smile and walked backwards until he no longer sees me. Holding my head in my hands, I looked around to find small Childerns park. Warm setting sun relaxed my body as I reflected on what all things I said to him.

" You really need to control your anger and emotions!." I whispered bending down picking at wild flowers. Slowly rainy season is shifting towards winter which isn't felt much in Mumbai but I like the feel of it. Mid October is something I hate as we get unexpected storms or heavy rains or extreme sun with lots of humidity throughout the year. My sticky hair moved a bit as breeze flew by me. Deciding to leave my peaceful time, I walked back to his home. A place where I feel belonged at the same time I realise its not about belonging somewhere, it is about getting accepted feeling loved in the place you live.

"Took you so long!." Yug shouted running to me. I hugged this cute little human, who means world to me.

"Now, tell me, who is your favorite character in this?." He asked. I saw Dr Amogh sitting on other side of the couch.

"I like Hulk." I declared to which Yug asked why. Looking at Dr Amogh, I smiled at his brothers stupid questions.

"He shows us, even if our anger is not controlled by us, if we are good at heart we won't do any harm no matter how much we try to do it. Also, he's big softie inside. " I stated. Yug being a kid completely forgot why we even started talking. Dr Amogh smiled at me before joining his brother.

I sat with my books, frustration, helplessness around me. Who said we need to pass exams?

"Worried?."
I heard Dr Amoghs voice. Nodding my head I made space for him to sit down.

"I will help you. " He stated. I laughed at his stupidity. What can he do at this hour of my exam??

"Let's revise last paper. " He said sitting infront of me. Taking respective subjects in hand, he listed out questions which he saved in his phone. Mentioning page no. and book name along with edition, he started discussing topics question wise. By the end of 2hr we almost completed half of last paper.

"It is 11.45pm. Do you want to sleep? We can discuss tomorrow too." He said.

"You have college. I will carry on from here." I said.

"No, I took leave for 2 days. Just sleep now. We will sit again tomorrow for revision. Meanwhile, I am taking this textbook for paper 2 reference. I quite don't know about your subject." He said getting up from floor. I stood up with him not understanding his sudden interest in my subjects. Silently walking behind him,  I entered his bedroom after many years.

"I..I ." Not knowing what to say.  He gestured for me to sit down and went away with books in his hand.

"Here, take this. There is summary of paediatric medicine and recent advances." He mentioned moving back to his cupboard again. I walked behind him to see that he has stocked up books of my department along with his.

"Why?." I asked him.

"I need to know about your subject, how can I help you?." He said.

Nodding my head, I walked out of his room.

Laying down on the floor,I recollected all the moments we had with eachother. Never in all those instances he mentioned about my subject nor took interest to question about it unless it's related to his case.

Am I being delusional or he's actually attentive towards me?

Holding the bracelet in my hands,I slept with thoughts of him.
