While I was calling Izzy and Jack inside (Peabo usually just does his business and comes in fast), I usually have to say the word "treat" or show it to them to prove that I am serious about giving them something. I manage to get Izzy in first after fetching a treat and showing her I was serious about giving her something, unhooking her from her lead.

As I was calling to Jack, his attention was drawn upward into the bushes. I followed his gaze as he calmly watched a squirrel until it got closer. Then, he suddenly shot up, getting a bit huffy as he stands on his hind legs and starts barking lightly at it. The squirrel was startled, it quickly climbed higher until it manages to get its tiny paws onto the oak tree's branches before disappearing into the tree itself.

If all three were outside and there were a squirrel or two hanging about, Izzy would bark at it with all of her eagerness. Jack would still do the dance as he runs after them.

As for Peabo, well, being nearsighted, he tends to follow Jack's lead, but has no idea what it is he's going after. Sometimes, he would bark, but other times, he just seems so lost being so small.

Side note: Say the word "squirrel" to Izzy and she gets all worked up, barking and looking around for her furry target.
