**** Sai = Yejin ****

Sai had spent the past 2 days nonstop working. She hadn't slept a wink; during the day she helped each member record the songs and learn the choreography, and during the nights, she trained independently and went to the fitness center in an attempt to work off the excess stress.

She knew it was unhealthy, what she was doing, but she was desperate to do the best she could; maybe if she worked harder she would convince the manager to reconsider and let her remain as the leader.

She didn't even know if that's what he meant; but it could've been.

"Yah! Yejin!"

Sai froze when she heard Cho's distinctive yell through her headphones.

There she was, trying to select the potential title track of their mini-album, and Cho was yelling at her like she was a child.

She pulled off her headphones, setting her phone down calmly before she sprung up and grabbed Cho, who was laughing out apologies.

"You think you're all grown up now, stupid?! Even Jiyeon doesn't even say yah to me, who do you think you are, going off like that?"

Sai smiled, theatrically smacking the back of Cho's head.

"Ha! Now all of our fans will see how much of a violent leader you are! You've been exposed-"

Sai glanced behind Cho, where their camera man was recording them.

Quickly smiling and waving, Sai let go of Cho.

She was about to leave when Cho muttered something under her breath.

"Now you act all sweet, two faced - "

She immediately kneeled down when she saw Sai's glare, holding her hands in front of her in a pleading, apologetic fashion.

Sai smirked, kneeling in front of her before slipping her hands under Cho.

She briskly picked up Cho and threw her on the bed before walking out laughing.

Ah, it was nice to forget about the stress for a moment.

Maybe the manager knew what he was doing when he had Sai and Cho room together.

She was walking down the hall when she ran into a couple of boys outside of the fitness center.

She intended on slipping past them, not wanting to interrupt, but they turned towards her, so she quickly bowed a greeting.

"Hey, you're Ahn Yejin, right?"

Sai nodded slowly.

How the hell did they know her?

"The manager told us about you. You're the leader of the new group, right?"

She nodded again, and they seemed to notice her confusion.

"We're part of Monsta X."

Her eyes widened in understanding, and she felt embarrassed that she hadn't recognized them, though she'd never seen them before. They'd recently been doing a tour around Asia and hadn't been around.

"I'm so sorry, I've been focused on my debut so I haven't had much time to listen to much of anyone but my group." She let out an awkward laugh, relieved when she saw that they didn't seem to be bothered by her lack of knowledge.

"Yeah, you guys are debuting next month, no?"

"We will, if I work harder to prepare my group." Sai bit her lip, hoping that she was doing a good enough job of preparing them.

"You sound like Shownu," the blond boy nudged his taller friend. "Do all leaders talk like that?"

"Minhyuk, our group is our responbility."

"That's what being the leader means."

Shownu smiled softly at her, and she found her face heating up.

She looked like a mess who hadn't slept in ages. But to be fair, she hadn't.

"Well, I hope you guys do well, good luck."

"Remember, you need rest too. In order for your group to be at it's best, you need to be at your best."

Sai nodded, a grateful smile on her face.

"STAR fighting!"

She grinned at their sweet encouragement, and then they were on their way.

Yeah, she was going to take a nap.
