Appearance: Griffin base, 4 legs with clawed toes, long tail with orange and blue metallic feathers at end. Royal blue in colour with hints of yellow on her helm/tail feathers, biolights, down her front and on her claws, with yellow optics. Hints of purple in places. Phoenix traits in design such as a sleeker body shape, feathers on the tail. Two scars on her mid back from where her wings once joined.

Colourscheme:

Personality: Happy and playful, likes to be comfortable and curled up against something warm. Very intelligent and a quick learner. Ashamed of her lack of wings since she's the only one unable to fly. Quick thinking and still capable all the same. Fearful and wary of Autobots. Despite everything is able to escape from dangerous predicaments and doesn't fall easy.

Backstory: When Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus committed genocide by blowing up Shockwave's lab and the new Predacon clones with it, everyone was sure Predaking would forever be the last of his kind. The King was enraged by this, but when he returned to the site to pay his respects to his dead brethren, he was surprised and relieved to hear echoes of his own calls. Quiet calls for aid coming from the rubble that answered his sounds of anger and despair.

In the farthest corner of the lab remains, where Shockwave had the newer clones that were not fully grown gestating in growth tanks, Predaking found one of the clones, saved from the explosion's full force by rubble and being at the back of the lab, just clinging onto her life. But surviving cost the little one dearly. Her magnificent Phoenix wings were crushed beyond repair in the ruins, so much so when Predaking found and tried to move her the dead wings simply fell off.

The baby was so small, premature, weak and helpless. And left without flight, disabled and disadvantaged. In any other circumstances Predaking wouldn't care to help something so tiny. But she obviously had strength in her to have survived so far, and she was currently the only other Predacon alive besides him. So he took her, determined that she would make it.

It was hard at first. She was so small, so weak and fragile, not even having grown her armour plating yet or opened her optics. Worried Starscream would abuse the baby like he did Predaking, the King hid her away in mountain caves but it got to a point where she wouldn't feed at all and once she began deteriorating he had no choice but to take her to the Nemesis to Shockwave for help. Of course Megatron was unsettled by the fact he'd failed to kill all the Predacon clones, but Shockwave was confident that the fledgling wouldn't live long from her weakness and disability. Predaking became her guardian and with assistance hand-reared the little Phoenix, and, to Megatron's annoyance, the little baby Predaking referred to as "Echo" just refused to die.

Even on the Nemises, any attempt to prompt Echo's life towards ending due to her weakness was thwarted by the King's protectiveness and how he would guard her like a treasure. Raising her the best she could, he quickly bonded with her beyond just his duty as a King to her. When he discovered Megatron's betrayal and was thrown from an airlock by he and Starscream, Predaking determinedly and cleverly called Echo to where he could retrieve her through their animalistic calls. After the ship dragged them through the Spacebridge, the two Predacons watched in awe as life returned to Cybertron.

In later life Echo grew to become a scout, a fast runner in the absence of her wings. She kept that strength that she possessed as a baby, that persuaded her guardian to save her. Predaking trusts her deeply, and she lives as his "Ward". And he won't have anyone disrespect her because of her disability. After Starscream murdered Skylynx and Darksteel Predaking and Echo returned to Earth and took up residence in a secluded mountain valley where they wouldn't be bothered by Autobots, Decepticons, or humans.

Predaking never lied about the reason she lost her wings, that Megatron wanted their kind dead. She holds anger against the Autobots for the part they played. She and the others were defenceless and the Autobots killed them before they could be born.

They tried to kill her before she even had a chance to live. They stole her wings. Though she isn't as dark and vicious as her King, forgiving the Autobots is likely something she can never do.
