I bet 25% of you said 'the heavier ball will hit the water first.' Sorry, you're wrong.

It been a proven fact for 400 years that they will hit the ground at the same time. 

This is because gravity accelerates the objects at the same rate.

To father prove this, an astronaut dropped a hammer and a feather on the moon. They hit the ground at the SAME TIME.

"Why?" you ask? The reason a feather falls slower than a hammer on Earth is due to AIR FRICTION. However, on the moon, this varible is removed, because the moon has no air.

Gravity on the moon, although not as strong as Earth's gravity, still is a constant dispite weight. Therefore, both objects hit the ground first.
