This is basically a part two to the last chapter.

After the movie, we decided to go up to my room to get ready for bed, as it was getting late and Chrissy was tired. Once we got upstairs, I let Chrissy change in my room while I went to the upstairs bathroom to get ready.

When we had both finished, we laid down in bed together. I started to play with Chrissy's hair, and a few minutes later I could tell she had fallen asleep when her breath evened out. I laid there for a while just staring at the wall, thinking of ways to ask her to the school dance.

A few days later, I had it all planned out. I would take her out for ice cream at the mall, give her a bracelet I had made myself, and then ask her. I thought the bracelet was a good idea, as it had blue beads the same color as the eyeshadow she always wore, and I thought it would suit her. I just hope she likes it and that she says yes.

"Thank you for taking me out today," Chrissy said as she ate her vanilla ice cream.

"Yeah, no problem," I replied, getting a little nervous. The time was coming to give her her gift and ask her to the dance.

"Hey, uh, I have something for you. And there is something I wanted to ask you," I trailed off.

"Yeah? What is it?" Chrissy asked, looking at me with her beautiful blue eyes.

I took a deep breath before reaching into my bag and pulling out a small box with the bracelet in it. I handed it to her, and she gave me a quizzical expression. She took the box and opened it, eyes lighting up at the sight of the hand made piece of jewelry.

"Awh, (Y/N)! You got this for me?"

"Actually I made it. For you. I mean, duh, of course it's for you I gave it to you. I'm sorry I know I'm rambling I-"

She cut me off by grabbing my hand and squeezing it tight.

"It's beautiful. I love it. Thank you so much, (Y/N). Now, what was it you wanted to ask me?"

"Oh yeah! I um, I wanted to ask you if you would go to the school dance with me?"

"Of course! I would love nothing more than to go to the dance with you, (Y/N)," she said as she smiled at me, a smile I'll never get over no matter how many times I've seen it.

The day finally came, and I was so nervous. The girls on her cheer team insisted that Chrissy get ready with them and we would meet at school. They've known about us ever since they walked in on us kissing in the girl's locker room, and thankfully they were very supportive.

Tonight, I decided to go with something simple; a short black dress with long sleeves and a plunging neck line and a black lace choker. I really like it, and I hope Chrissy would too.

I was so excited that I sped all the way to school and ended up getting there early, so I sat in my car and hyped myself up a little before going in.

The gymnasium was set up beautifully for the night, with streamers and fairy lights hung up all around. I immediately headed to the table with snacks and beverages to get myself a drink. As I was pouring, I happened to look up and glance across the room to see Chrissy standing there, and she looked absolutely stunning.

Chrissy was wearing a beautiful green velvet off shoulder a-line dress that absolutely flattered her figure. Even from here, I could see that she was wearing the bracelet I had given her. I set my drink down, knowing I'd never come back for it, and made my way through the crowd of bodies towards her. Once she spotted me, she smiled her beautiful smile and started walking towards me.

Once we met, I took her in fully. The bracelet was matched by her iconic blue eyeshadow and blue earrings. I smiled slightly and bit my lip as I looked at her.

"You look amazing," I said.

"Thank you," she said. "You look amazing too."

"Are you hungry? I saw they had macarons over at the snack table."

Her eyes lit up and she nodded, so I took her hand and led her around the outside of the room to the snacks. We filled a plate up with macarons and went to a secluded part of the room to eat.

Once we had sat down, Chrissy took a creme colored macaron and held it up to her lips.

"What flavor do you think this is?" she asked before immediately taking a bite.

"I don't know. You tell me," I laughed.

"Vanilla," she said and held the rest of it up to my lips for me to take a bite.

"It's good," I said once I had finished chewing. "How about this one?"

I picked up a yellow macaron and held it up for Chrissy to take a bite. She smiled and obliged.

"Lemon," she said. I smiled.

This went on until I heard a familiar song start playing.

"Oh my gosh, Chrissy, we have to dance to this," I said, standing up and holding out my hand. She smiled and nodded before setting down the now empty plate and taking my hand.

I led her out into the middle of the dance floor and swayed with her as 'Dedicated to the One I Love' played over the speakers.

"Each night before you go to bed my baby
Whisper a little prayer for me my baby
And tell all the stars above
This is dedicated to the one I love," I sang along quietly and looked into her eyes. She really did look beautiful in the dim light.

We stayed like that, swaying in each other's arms until the song ended and we decided to step outside to get some fresh air.

"Tonight was wonderful," she said as she held my hand and looked at me.

"I'm glad. I had a good time too," I smiled. She smiled back at me before looking at my lips and quickly back up to my eyes. I leaned in slowly and she met me halfway. After a few seconds we pulled away. Her eyes shone so brightly in the moonlight and I leaned in to kiss her again. Her lips were pillowy soft and warm, and I savored every second of the kiss. Once we pulled apart, she glanced at me before putting her hand up to my face, wiping away some lipstick that had smeared. I smiled at her.

"I love you, you know?" I said, sighing and leaning into her.

"Yeah, I love you too," she said. Tonight had been a good night.
