Marinette sat in her room, working on the hoodie. She worked on the detail for the design and sighed. She pushed away from her desk and rubbed her eyes. She missed her kitty. She wanted, needed to see him again. She wanted to apologize for kissing him. Sabine knocked on the trapdoor and Marinette turned to her.
"Marinette, someone's here for you." Sabine smiled and Marinette nodded and turned back to her work. Adrien walked up to her room and smiled.
"Hey Marinette." He waved his hand a little.
"What do you want, Adrien?" Her voice broke. She never wanted him in her room, ever again.
He shied at her voice. "Uhm I-I thought we could work on the project today. Get it done today you know." He sheepishly smiled at her and she put her pencil down, balling her hands into fists on her lap.
She couldn't find her voice. She tried to speak but only a squeak came out. He held the strap of his bag and bit his lip waiting for an answer. She let out a shaky sigh and let go of her fist, facing him. "F-Fine. Sit down." He happily smiled and sat down in another one of her swivel chairs and pulled out his papers. He already wrote the paper he just needed to type it and print it. He sheepishly smiled at her while she worked on the design.
"Can I, use your computer?" She nodded and he went on it. His picture was there, it was now a picture of Ladybug and Chat from the LadyBlog. He typed up the assignment fast and looked at her again. "Do you think I should print it now or later?"
"Later," she answered and finished the sketch. "Who's going to wear the hoodie?"
"Why don't we both wear it." He smiled and she rolled her eyes.
"Why don't you wear it. I don't look good in anything."
"Marinette I'm sorry. My father, he's just a mean man. I didn't intend for you to look bad on TV."
"No, Adrien. I won't believe you anymore. You might think you have this all solved and that your money can fix it but it can't! You hurt me and no one will stop talking about it!"
Adrien flinched as she raised her voice. "Marinette I'm sorry-"
"Sorry won't solve it!" She yelled and balled her hands into fists. She wanted to punch him. She didn't care if she still had a small chance. He punched her heart into a thousand pieces and left them on the ground. He didn't know Marinette, the girl under the mask, could be so ruthless and, cold. "Get out of my room!"
He parted his lips. He then furrowed his brow and his lips formed a fine line. "No."
"What?" She spat out.
"No, I'm not leaving. I'm sorry for what happened but I'm not leaving you alone. I want to fix things. I'm sorry for denying your feelings but it's how I feel," he put his hand to his heart. "Maybe one day I can return your feelings but not today. Can we just get this project done?" She pushed her lips into a line. He wanted her to like the real him.
"Fine." She spat out and did the last details of the design and jot down some notes. She got his measurements and started to work. She finished the hoodie in a hour and he smiled, even though they didn't talk during that hour.
His phone rang and he answer it, then hung up, sighing. "I have to go. Later Marinette." She hummed in response and he sighed and left her room. She broke into tears after he left.
