After Nibi continued to soothe Lucario and tried to calm her down for a bit, Lucario eventually quieted down and then fell back asleep.

Once Lucario was asleep, Nibi letted out a small sigh and then lied Lucario back down on the bed.

But, before Nibi was about to tuck Lucario in, he paused for a moment and stared at Lucario's sleeping figure.

Then, without thinking, he quietly shutted the bedroom door, turned the lights off, got into the bed with Lucario and then tucked himself in (along with Lucario).

Once he did that, he wrapped his arms around Lucario's waist and pulled her close to his warm chest before falling asleep with her.

Before Nibi fell asleep, he leaned in close to Lucario's ear and whispered, "I love you, Lucario..." .

-Next Day-

As daytime came the next morning, Serenity began to wake up.

As she sat up on the bed and stretched, she letted out a small yawn before looking around the room.

"It wasn't a dream...What happened yesterday was real. I just happened to realize that because I'm still here in the very same room I woke up yesterday..." Serenity thought to herself as she looked at the bed.

But, as she was about to move and try to get off the bed, Serenity suddenly felt something wrapped around her waist.

Curious, Serenity looked over her shoulder and noticed that it was the pokémon trainer who saved her yesterday.

And he had his arms wrapped around her waist.

Serenity blushed a little and tried to move the pokémon trainer's arms off...only...the pokémon trainer's arms didn't budge.

Serenity letted out a small sigh and just hugged her knees out of boredom.

"Oy vey, how long is the pokémon trainer gonna keep his arms wrapped around my waist?" Serenity mumbled to herself.

Then an idea popped in her head, making her silently giggle at the thought of it.

Serenity looked over at the pokémon trainer and with the spike on backs of her paws, she lightly poked him by the backs of his hands.

"Ow!" Nibi said as he suddenly shot up on the bed.

As he sat up, Nibi started to rub the back of his hand gently, massaging it so the pain can go away.

As Nibi looked up, he noticed that the female Lucario (he rescued yesterday) was awake.

"Oh. Lucario! You're awake." Nibi said as he smiled.

Lucario smiled a little and nodded but she still didn't say anything.

"Is she mute?" Nibi thought to himself.

Then Nibi looked over at Lucario and decided to ask her that question, due to the fact that it's been nagging him for just a few minutes.

"Lucario?" Nibi began. Lucario looked over and rested her gaze on him.

"Are you mute?" Nibi asked.

Lucario shook her head.

Then, surprisingly, Lucario replied to Nibi from her mouth.

"No. I'm not mute...I just don't talk a lot. And my name isn't Lucario....It's Serenity." She spoke.

"Oh my Arceus...She's literally talking to me!" Nibi thought to himself.

Then he shook that out of his head.

"Serenity....That's a really good name for someone who's so cute, sweet, kind, and pretty like you." Nibi said as he rested his head on Serenity's shoulder.

Serenity blushed a little at that along with the compliment that the pokémon trainer said to her.

"Th-Thank you...No one has ever complimented me like that before..." Serenity replied.

"You're welcome..." The pokémon trainer replied back as he lifted his head from her shoulder.

"Now, I got a question for you..." Serenity began.

"What is it?" The pokémon trainer asked.

"....Who are you?" Serenity asked.
