Narrator: Last time on Sonic X x Male Reader, our heroes made a crash landing on a peculiar planet where they learn of shocking secrets. Not only was it Cosmo and Star's home world, it was also the birthplace of the Metarex. Devastated by this discovery, Cosmo was about to flee when Bokkun broke in with an emergency message from Dr. Eggman. It appeared the Metarex we're meeting to carry out their final mission. Which would end in a cosmic catastrophe. Now with time running out, Sonic and friends must rush to rescue the Galaxy. Will they finally finish off the Metarex? Bokkun got out his TV to give everyone a message from Eggman.

Eggman: I've secretly been working to infiltrate the Metarex and find out what they're up to. But it seems they finally found out I've been deceiving them.

Decoe and Bocoe got on the screen.

Bocoe: Dr. Eggman, a huge Metarex battleship is closing in fast!

Decoe: Its laser cannons are pointed right at us!

Dr. Eggman: Your panicking is pointless. Defeat is inevitable, so let's face it with dignity. The Metarex are on the move, heading towards galactic coordinates 000. One of their legends talks about a time when a thousand-year wait ends, and night and day become one. I'm not sure what it means, but my guess is something extraordinary happens in that region of space once every thousand years, and it's about to happen again.

Decoe and Bocoe started running around, panicking.

Eggman: The Metarex are sending every ship in their fleet to rendezvous there. You'd have to be out of your minds to try and decept them, so I assume that's what you're going to do.

He laughed before ending the message. Then the TV started to count down from 20.

Bokkun: I got away just as they began attacking.

Everyone looked in silence.

Cosmo: I hope you don't mind my asking, but why are those numbers on your TV counting down?

The countdown went down to 6.

Bokkun: I forgot that these messages self-destruct at the end.

Everyone gasp as it was about to explode, but Y/n stepped on the TV, breaking it.

Bokkun: Oh, yeah. I forgot you use to do that.

He looked at Star.

Bokkun: I hope you know, you married a psychopath.

Star: A hot and badass psychopath.

Later.

Everyone was gathered in an empty room.

Knuckles: You can't operate the ship from here. There's no controls.

Tails: There are controls here, they're just hidden away.

Tails pressed a button on his comlink, and a command chair and several screens appeared, leaving everyone except Y/n in shock.

Tails: Me and Y/n built this secret bridge just in case the original one ever got wrecked.

Rouge: But can this beaten-up barge fly?

Chris sat in command chair and types on the computer.

Chris: The ship's engines were damaged pretty bad, but we still have enough power.

Chris pressed a red button and the systems started up.

Tails: Put it into launch mode, Chris!

The Blue Typhoon began to rise into the air before taking off. Shadow watched it fly away and he was about to leave when someone appeared behind him.

???: Hold it, Hedgehog!

With the Typhoon.

As the Typhoon was flying through space, the grew saw a bunch of lights up ahead.

Cream: There's a big fleet of Metarex ships ahead! Their coordinates are 000.

Sonic: That's just where Eggman said they'd be.

The Typhoon continued to fly forward and saw a Dark Oak's Battleship, which wass flanked by countless Metarex Fighters and space crafts, as well as two other battleships and Eggman's old mothership.

Tails: Increase engine speed to full power! Set the course for Dark Oak's command ship!

Chris: Roger!

In Dark Oak's ship.

Dark Oak was talking to his last two Commanders over a video.

Dark Oak: Begin the attack.

Black Narcissus: We'll wipe them out!

Pale Bayleaf: No survivors!

Narcissus and Bayleaf left their ships with Narcissus armed with a staff with a mirror at the top and Bayleaf with two swords.

Back at the Typhoon

Chris: Two Metarex are heading right at us!

Y/n: Not just any Metarex, Commanders.

Sonic: We have to stop 'em before they attack!

Tails: Get to your ships and launch a counterstrike!

Y/n: Don't them lightly, the Commanders are dangerous.

Everyone except Cosmo: Roger!

Chris and Helen in Chris's ship and they took off with Sonic and Bokkun on a wing each and took of with Amy and Cream following after.

Sonic: It's time to go wreck those Metarex!

Sonic jumped off the wing towards the Commanders.

Chris: Sonic, catch!

Chris shoots a power ring to Sonic and he caught it.

Sonic: Thanks, Chris!

Sonic began to Spindash towards Bayleaf, who throws his two swords at him. They bounce off the Sonic, who was swatted by Bayleaf before he summoned his swords again.

Bokkun: Sonic's attack didn't work!

Tails: Fire lasers!

Tails fired the Typhoon's laser at Narcissus who sent the lasers back with his mirror staff, destroying the lasers.

Tails: Rouge, Knuckles, get to the flight deck to stop that Metarex!

They nodded and ran off.

Narcissus lands on the runway and looked himself in the mirror.

Black Narcissus: My looks are even more striking than my attacks.

Knuckles and Rouge approached him.

Knuckles: Let's charge him together!

Rouge: Ready when you are!
Narcissus is still staring at his reflection.

Knuckles: Aren't you even gonna put up a fight?

Narcissus sees them in the mirror's reflection.

Black Narcissus: If you insist, but you weaklings can't possibly harm me.

Rouge: You won't think so high of yourself after I knock you down!
Rouge used her Screw Kick to shatter Narcissus' mirror to pieces.

Black Narcissus: You broke my mirror!

Rouge: Be grateful you don't have to look at yourself anymore.

Black Narcissus: This is no joke. Soon you'll be howling in pain!

He swatted Rouge away with what was left of his staff.

Knuckles: Now you're makin' me angry!

Knuckles got out his Shovel Claws.

Knuckles: Shovel Claw!

Knuckles lunges towards Narcissus, who easily blocks the attacks with his staff. Meanwhile, Sonic is still fighting Bayleaf, who swats him away.

Chris: Sonic!

Chris flies over and caught Sonic.

Amy: This is for hurting Sonic!

Amy fires numerous missiles at Bayleaf, but they did no damage to him.

Back at the Typhoon.

Tails, Cosmo, Y/n, Star and Chaos were the only ones not fighting.

Cosmo: I wish I knew what Dark Oak's next move was.

Y/n: Dammit. We can't just sit here like a bunch of cowards!

Star: You're right, Y/n. But what can we do?

Y/n: You go help Rouge and Knuckles, me and Chaos are going to go help that faker.

All three of them nodded and ran outside.

With Narcissus.

Narcissus finally knocked Knuckles over and was about to strike him down, but Star showed up and threw some seeds on the ground the sprouted into vines that restrained Narcissus.

Star: Time to pay you back for what you did to me, my sister and Chris, Narcissus!

Black Narcissus: Ah, if it isn't Lady Star. Let's get it over-

Star punched him in the face before he could finish.

Star: Don't think this is going to go down like last time.

With Bayleaf.

Bayleaf was about to throw his swords, but he was tackled from behind by Y/n in his Thunder God Mode.

Pale Bayleaf: Aah! You! Seeing as you're still alive, I assume Spruce failed.

Y/n: You can ask him about it yourself when you join him.

Chaos: Remember, don't push yourself too hard. Star and I aren't sure if we fully healed your heart.

Y/n activated his bracelet blades.

Y/n: I know.

He rushed at Bayleaf in his lightning form.

Meanwhile.

Team Chaotix ship came out of warp space.

Vector: We're comin' out of warp space now.

They see the fighting up ahead.

Vector: If you need a ride back, we got a round-trip special today!

Charmy: It's a 45% discount off our standard fare!

Shadow gives a slight smirk.

Charmy: He's a tough sap.

Vector: Luckily for you, there's no charge for first-time customers. (whispers to Espio: That's the last time I ever give a lift to a hitchhikin' hedgehog.)

Espio: I'm sick of taking jobs where we lose money.

Charmy: Our business is goin' bust-

Vector: I ain't interested in your opinions! I'm the boss around here!

Vector turned his attention back to Shadow.

Vector: Where do you wanna get dropped off, buddy?

Shadow grabbed the controls and began to steer the ship towards the battle.

Vector: Heeey!

Shadow: You better buckle up. We could be in for a rough landing!

Shadow crashed the ship into Dark Oak's ship and their ship got destroyed on impact.

Inside the battleship.

Team Chaotix ship is mostly undamaged, but the detective house was completely gone.

Vector: At least we made it here in one piece, but now we gotta build ourselves a new detective office.

Shadow began to walk away.

Vector: Yo, pal. Wait! A thank you wouldn't cost ya nothin'!

Espio: You should at least tell us why you crash-landed us on this ship.

Shadow turns to look at them.

Shadow: I have to find Dark Oak and have a showdown.

He zips straight through through a wall.

Vector: Well... as long as we're here, we might as well battle the Metarex too!

Vector walks through the hole Shadow made

Charmy: All right! This'll be fun!

He followed after.

Espio: That depends on how you define "fun".

Espio shrugged before following his teammates while Shadow was leaving fires in his wake.

Back outside.

Sirens appeared in Bokkun's eyes.

Bokkun: Hey, Dr. Eggman is sending out a rescue signal.

Chris: Sonic, I'm gonna fly into the command ship and set Dr. Eggman free.

Helen: I'm coming, too.

Sonic: Okay!

Chris: Amy, continue the attack with Sonic and Y/n.

Sonic leaped on to Amy's ship.

Amy: Roger! Sonic and I will conquer those Metarex using the invincible power of our love!

Inside the command ship.

Shadow was surrounded by low rank Metarex.

Shadow: Chaos Spear!

Shadow threw his spears at the Metarex and destroyed them.

Shadow: Where's Dark Oak?

Meanwhile.

Espio looked both ways and saw he was in between two groups of Metarex soldiers, so he turned invisible, causing them to crash into each other.

Espio: Now that was a smash.

Meanwhile.

Chris and Helen found Eggman and destroyed the Metarex that were guarding him.

Chris: It's all clear.

Eggman: Great. With those Metarex gone, we can break free!

Chris got ready to shoot the bars.

Chris: You'd better stand back.

Dr. Eggman: We can blow up these bars. Decoe! Bocoe!

Decoe and Bocoe: Yes, Doctor!

Decoe: Now we finally get to show our explosive side!

Decoe stretched his body so it's taller, and almost fell forward, but Bocoe caught him.

Decoe/Bocoe: Begin Merge!

Bocoe: Assuming headshot position!

Decoe's chest merged with Bocoe's body.

Decoe: Decoe Bocoe Brain Bazooka, fire!

Decoe's head opened and it fired a shell at the bars, destroying them.

Decoe: That was awesome, but I do have a bit of a headache now.

Bocoe: We are cute on the outside, but on the inside, we are mean machines.

Eggman: it was very brave of you two to come here.

Chris: Thanks, Doctor.

Helen: That's unusually nice of you.

Eggman: You've both got a lot of guts for a couple little kids.

Helen: There it is.

Eggman: Now, let's hack into their system.

Eggman began hacking into a computer on the wall.

Computer: Destruct code verified. Detonating Corridor D.

A bunch of explosions went off, destroying some Metarex soldiers while Eggman, Chris, Helen, Decoe and Bocoe made a run for it.

Eggman: I altered this ship's evergy output. The ship's main power circuits are overloading now.

Decoe/Bocoe: Brilliant idea, Doctor!

Outside.

Bayleaf and Narcissus watched as the ship exploded, and that's when Cream came out of nowhere.

Cream: Surprise!

Cream fired a pair of missiles at Narcissus's face.

Cream: A bullseye!

Cheese: Chao-chao-chao!

The smoke cleared and it showed the missiles didn't do much.

Black Narcissus: How dare you try to damage my perfect face!

Narcissus went after Cream while Knuckles, Rouge and Star watched from below.

Knuckles: Quick, give me your hand!

Rouge: What an odd time to suddenly get romantic.

Star: Screw you, bat. Throw me instead!

Knuckles grabbed Star's hand.

Knuckles: Hold tight!

Knuckles spun around and threw Star as hard as he could. When Narcissus got in front of Cream's ship, it turned out she was in Sage Mode.

Black Narcissus: What?!

Cream: You seem a bit dirty, let me help.

Cream spread water at Narcissus which sent him into Star's punch that knocked him into Bayleaf and Y/n with Chaos topped it off by shooting Chaos 1's water blast with Y/n's lightning, shocking the Commanders.

Back in the ship.

Shadow held a decapitated Metarex head.

Shadow: Tell me where Dark Oak is!

He looked to the side to see another army of Metarex.

Shadow: Never mind.

Shadow threw the head away and ran rushed the new army.

With Chris, Helen and Eggman.

They were still running when the ship began to shake.

Bocoe: The ship is falling apart!

Eggman: They're wrecking their own ship, just to get rid of us!

The floor broke apart, and all of them fell into the room where the Chaotix were.

Vector: You okay?

Back with Shadow.

Shadow continued destroying Metarex until he was sent out by the ship's destruction. Everyone who was there made it out and turned to see something the ship's part were floating around. In the ship's place was a giant tree that Dark Oak was standing on top of and he was joined by Narcissus and Bayleaf.

Sonic: You guys went to all that trouble just to make a tree house?

Dark Oak spread his arms and it created a giant light.

Tails: Somethin's distorting the gravity in this part of space! It's expanding rapidly! What's going on?!

Dark Oak: The thousand-year wait ends! Night and day become one, and two worlds come together!

Two ripples began to form and glowed and it made a big blue planet with a yellow Planet Egg in the center.

Cosmo: That's a Planet Egg... The thousand-year wait ends. Night and day become one, and two worlds come together.

In the Chaotix ship.

Eggman was in the ship with Team Chaotix.

Eggman: Of course! Once every thousand years, a space-time rupture must occur in this part of the galaxy. That light is breaking through from an entirely different universe. We're all doomed!

Chris was talking with Tails and Y/n over video.

Tails: (Over video) There's a huge amount of energy that's coming from that thing! Our sensors overloaded when I tried to get a reading!

Chaos: I think I can feel Chaos Energy from there

Chris: This must be what the Metarex were waiting for! Sonic, Y/n!

Sonic: We better end this before Dark Oak ruins the galaxy forever.

Y/n: Right behind you, Sonic.

Sonic Spindashed towards Dark Oak while Y/n turned into his lightning form to strike Dark Oak as Shadow watched.

Shadow: I've got to stop them before Forestation starts!

He leaped towards Dark Oak.

Dark Oak: You fool. We are on the verge of a galactic transformation! No one can stop us!

The tree's branches were holding the seven Chaos Emeralds and their power combined with the Planet Egg's sent the three hedgehogs flying back. Chris and Helen caught Sonic and Y/n while Amy caught Shadow.

Pale Bayleaf: Planet Egg is water.

Black Narcissus: Chaos Emerald is light.

Pale Bayleaf/Black Narcissus: They both give us power.

Dark Oak: (Spreads arms) This water and light that make all plants grow will now give birth to... FORESTATION!

The trees roots began to spread all over the planet.

Dark Oak: The Metarex have long awaited this moment. We will now bring perfect order and peace to this galaxy, and to the entire universe! Forestation has finally begun!

Pale Bayleaf/Black Narcissus: Long rule the Metarex!

Their metal armor began to break as the two Commanders and their leader changed forms. When it was done, the leading Metarex became gaint dragon heads with Dark Oak having the seven Chaos Emeralds in his forehead. Everyone looked on in shock.

Tails: What are they?

Eggman contacted Tails over video.

Eggman: They are in the last stage of the Metarex forestation project. The galaxy will be taken over by plants, and all animal life forms will be wiped out.

Cosmo: We have to attack!

Tails: All ships launch missiles now!

The ships launched their missiles at the planet, but it did nothing. Y/n, Sonic and Shadow jumped into action. The planet used gaint roots to fight back and even though the roots were easy to cut through, the heads were still going strong. Sonic grabbed onto Dark Oak's head.

Amy: Let go, Sonic!

Dark Oak slammed Sonic into the Blue Typhoon and shot a mouth beam at him. This caused great damage to the ship as Dark Oak kept firing.

Knuckles: They're after the Master Emerald!

Sonic: We won't let you take it!

Sonic jumped onto Dark Oak's head to make him stop firing and that gave Y/n an opening to shock him. Dark Oak backed away from the ship, but the damage has already been done and the Typhoon began to go down.

Chris: Tails! Cosmo!

Amy was getting hit by the debris.

Sonic: Hang on, Amy!

Sonic got Amy out of her ship before it exploded and they both landed safely on a root, panting.

Amy: It looks like we're losing.

Y/n got Cream's ship out of the way and laid Star on the wing.

Cream: Big brother?

Y/n: Yeah, Cream?

Cream: Holy cookies, they're strong.

Star: Yeah, this is definitely not what I imagined.

Dark Oak stared at them all.

Dark Oak: You pitiful animals. Now that you are vanquished, you see the true superiority of the Metarex! But you still have one last chance to save yourself from certain destruction. Come to your senses, Sonic and Y/n! Join us, and we will bring order and peace to the galaxy!

Sonic was still panting a little.

Amy: Sonic!

Sonic: I'll never join with you!

Dark Oak cocked his head to the side.

Amy: Don't fight them, Sonic! They're so powerful now, you'll be destroyed for sure!

Sonic: Sorry. I can't let them take over the galaxy without a fight. If you wanna rule, you'll have to get rid of me first!

The three dragons stare down at him

Dark Oak: So be it, Sonic. If you wish to be eliminated, we will be happy to help you. Farewell, hedgehog!

A bunch of small geysers of water gush up around Sonic and Amy.

Sonic: Just don't hurt Amy!

Sonic threw Amy out of the way before a giant geyser sent him into Dark Oak's mouth.

Amy: Sonic!

Everyone looked on in shock.

Amy: Sonic, no!

Sonic fell into the water like planet.

Dark Oak: You have lost, Sonic. Water is your weakness, and our strength. We will now spread across the galaxy, and there will be no one to stop us!

Y/n: That's where you're wrong, Dark Oak!

Dark Oak: What?

Y/n: Even if Sonic is defeated. I, Lord Y/n, will not stop until you Metarex are stopped.

Dark Oak: Why do you fight so hard, Y/n? We can bring peace and balance to the Universe.

Y/n: A universe of only plant life isn't balanced.

He grabbed Star's hand.

Y/n: Only a universe where plants and animals live together can be truly balanced. I'll end this madness even if it cost me my life!

Dark Oak: I'll take you up on that.
