The Blue Typhoon was flowing through space with some Metarex ships following them.

Cream: They're going to attack again! They're aiming straight for us.

Tails: We have to work fast. Chris, you and Sonic disperse the missiles then launch a counter attack.

Chris: Roger. Cosmo, take over for me.

Cosmo: Sure.

Chris ran to the X-Tornado where Sonic was already waiting for him.

Sonic: So what's going down, pal?

They were getting ready to take off.

Chris: Okay, Sonic, here's the plan. Looks like the Metarex are about to launch another attack. We've got to try to fend them off as best as we can and then give them a dose of their own medicine.

Sonic: Sounds good. We'll wipe out those Metapunks in no time flat.

The Metarex ships fired missiles at the Typhoon, but they blocked them with smoke bombs.

Amy: I've got a bad feeling, Cosmo.

Star: Me too. These Metarex attacks just seem to get more and more violent every time.

Star: Not to mention that we literally got one of their Commanders to challenge us directly. This must mean that they see us as the biggest threat to their plans.

Amy: But it's more than that, I just can't figure it out.

Chris and Sonic were finally outside.

Chris: Take off!

Suddenly, the ship began to shake.

Tails: Hey, what was that?!

Amy: I don't know! There's nothing on the radar!

Y/n: Maybe because it's not a ship.

They saw Zelkova holding on to one of their engines. They also saw yellow electricity surrounding him.

Yellow Zelkova: (maniacal laugh) Your time is up, my friends.

Knuckles was seeing Zelkova from the engine room.

Zelkova: The abyss is waiting for you.

Knuckles: Oh, no. Not him again.

Zelkova: Farwell.

Zelkova threw the ship to the planet below them. Sonic and Chris who were still outside ended up falling off Typhoon.

Tails: (Thinking: Pressure is dropping by the second.)

They crash landed on the planet, stopping before they fell off a cliff to a lake of lava.

Amy: Well, this looks like a real hot spot.

Cream: I feel sick to my tummy.

Cheese: Chao, chao.

Star rubbed her back.

Star: There, there.

Tails: That crash disconnected our energy servers. It looks like we're stranded you guys.

Everyone gasped, but their surprise change when they saw Zelkova jump in front of them with lightning surrounding him.

Yellow Zelkova: I see we are together again. Prepare to meet your doom. Prepare to perish. Prepare to succumb to the evil that is Yellow Zelkova! Prepare to... Prepare to...

Amy: Prepare to battle?

Tails: I don't know. Battle just seems kind of weak, doesn't it.

Helen: Prepare to die?

Y/n: That's much better.

Yellow Zelkova: Enough. This is no guessing game, this is the moment of your demise.

Zelkova punched the ship, causing it shake.

Yellow Zelkova: Where are the Hedgehogs?

Sonic: I'm right here.

Zelkova turned to see Sonic and Chris flying towards him.

Amy: It's Sonic!

Chris: Almost there. Ready?

Sonic: Ready.

Sonic had a power ring in his hand and it glowed brightly as Sonic Spindashed towards Zelkova.

Yellow Zelkova: Aluma Shield!

A shield of light appeared in front of Zelkova and blocked Sonic's Spindash, making Sonic land back on the X-Tornado.

Chris: Sonic, what happened?

Sonic: I'm not sure.

Zelkova shot a lightning bolt at them, but they luckily dodged.

Helen: Aw, man. Y/n, he stole your thing.

Y/n: I'll end his life.

Tails: That's the same thing that happened when Eggman put up his Star Shield.

Amy: Maybe it's made from the same stuff.

Yellow Zelkova: You are correct, little one. I, Yellow Zelkova, have been fortunate enough to be equipped with one of the very first of the brand new Dr. Eggman Aluma Shield power packs! And that's not all. As a bonus, I received this Eggman temporary tattoo!

Amy: You geek! You having an Eggman tattoo! Loser!

Star: You're cybernetic. Where are you even going to put it on?

Cosmo: Amy, Star, you'll make him angry.

Tails: Cosmo's right, settle down.

Amy: I will not settle down! That big yellow hunk of junk is going to be sorry he ever met me!

Yellow Zelkova: Hunk of juck? How dare you mock the great Yellow Zelkova? I'll make you pay for that!

He ran towards the ship, but was stopped by Knuckles.

Knuckles: Well, we meet again.

Yellow Zelkova: Perhaps this time, I will finish you off.

Their punches collided.

Knuckles: I'd like to see you try.

Knuckles pushed his fist back a bit.

Knuckles: Ah, come on. You're tougher than that, aren't you? Aren't you going to use your spanking new shield on me?

Chris and Sonic were still flying around.

Chris: We might be able to knock Zelkova out with a Ring Tunnel. Right now, anything's worth a try. Ring Tunnel!

Chris made a tunnel of power rings leading to Zelkova.

Sonic: Let's go!

Sonic dive through the tunnel towards Zelkova, but he and Knuckles got blasted away by a burst of lightning from Zelkova.

Yellow Zelkova: Aluma Shock!

Zelkova used a lightning bolt to sent Sonic and Chris away.

Amy/Helen: Sonic/Chris!

Knuckles got up, but was pretty injured.

Knuckles: Oh, yeah.

Yellow Zelkova: (laugh) You porcupine pip squeak. You will never beat me. With my Aluma Shield power pack, I am virtually Unstoppable.

Knuckles: You big wimp. Got to rely on some stupid Shield. Too afraid to fight me with your own two fist, huh? You're nothing, but a big baby!

Yellow Zelkova: What did you say?!

Knuckles: We'll see if that Shield helps you now. Get ready, pal.

Knuckles ran at Zelkova, but he knocked Knuckles back with his lightning.

Amy: We need to stop this.

Y/n: Couldn't agree more. Chaos, were going out.

Star: What? But darling, you still need rest!

Y/n: I'll be fine. You're in charge of Team Thunder until I get back, Star. I love you, bye.

Y/n kissed her forehead and ran out to Zelkova who stepped on Knuckles.

Chaos: Hey, eyes over here, you piece of crap!

Chaos shot a water blast at Zelkova who blocked it with the Aluma Shield.

Yellow Zelkova: That water blast was a mere squirt gun compared to my awesome power.

Y/n: Hasn't anyone told you that strength isn't everything?

Yellow Zelkova: Now you're starting to sound like my fellow Commander, Bayleaf.

Y/n: Well, you would have been a lot better off had you just listened to him.

Yellow Zelkova: Why you-

Zelkova shot a lightning blast at Y/n who countered with his own. Y/n's light blue lightning going against Zelkova's yellow lightning which ended in them canceling each other out.

Y/n: Chaos.

Chaos: Right away, My Lord.

Chaos extended his arm to grab Knuckles and pull him over to them.

Y/n: Knuckles, you okay?

Knuckles: I'm fine. Thanks for the save, guys.

Chaos: We're not out of the woods yet.

Y/n: Our best option right now is to work together. But we're gonna need a little extra power first. Chaos, power up!

Chaos absorbed Y/n's bracelet Chaos Energy and became Chaos 4 while Y/n entered Thunder Mode.

Yellow Zelkova: Don't think a few puny transformations will help you.

Y/n: We'll just have to see.

Y/n ran full speed at Zelkova with lightning dragons in both hands.

Y/n: Twin Dragon Palm!

Yellow Zelkova: Aluma Shield!

Y/n punched the shield in multiple places, but it wasn't making a dent.

Chaos: Chaos Wave.

Chaos sent a wave of energy, but the shield was still unaffected.

Knuckles: My turn!

Knuckles jumped at Zelkova who didn't even bother to block him and just let Knuckles punch his head.

Yellow Zelkova: you are giving me a headache. Cease your humbling!

Zelkova tried to punch him off, but Knuckles dodged, making Zelkova hit himself.

Knuckles: I'm not done.

Knuckles ran at Zelkova again, but Zelkova struck him with lightning. Knuckles still wouldn't give up and grabbed onto Zelkova and began rapidly punching his leg.

Yellow Zelkova: You are in for a shock, my tiny friend.

Zelkova sent electricity through his leg, shocking Knuckles.

Knuckles: Some shock. Is that all you got, pal?

Knuckles kept punch Zelkova's knee, until he finally broke the metal on Zelkova's knee, but unfortunately also broke the two spikes on his knuckles. Both screamed in pain.

Y/n: Wait, Chaos, I've got an idea on how to break that shield and what to do after we break it.

Y/n whispered to Chaos.

Chaos: Nice plan as always, Lord Y/n.

Y/n: Take more Chaos Energy and wait for the signal.

Chaos: Right.

Chaos took more energy from Y/n's bracelet and hit somewhere. Meanwhile, Zelkova fell to one knee.

Yellow Zelkova: You think you're clever, don't you?

Y/n: Oh, we don't think. We know we're clever. At least more clever than you.

Yellow Zelkova: What was that?

Y/n: I mean seriously, how can someone as brainless as you be a Commander?

Cosmo: Uh, Y/n, what are you doing?

Y/n: Come on, Cosmo. He needs to hear he's a pitiful failure. Otherwise, he'll never be able to improve. And trust me, there's a lot he can improve on.

Yellow Zelkova: (loud growl) You light blue welch!! You shall pay for your mockery!

Zelkova shot a strong blast of lightning at Y/n that almost sent him into the lava.

Star: Y/n, no!

Cream: Big brother!

Helen: Hey, he's not in danger. Y/n wanted that to happen.

Star/Cream: Huh?

Y/n: Your electrokinesis is quite powerful, Zelkova. But I will always be inferior to mine. And it's all because of one simple reason.

Yellow Zelkova: Oh, and what is that?

Y/n: My electrokinesis is far more versatile. Meaning I can do this.

Y/n moved his hand forward and not only sent Zelkova's lightning back at him, but mixed it with his own lightning.

Yellow Zelkova: Aluma Shield!

Zelkova put up his shield, but the lightning managed to crack it.

Y/n: Now, Chaos!

Perfect Chaos appeared behind Y/n who jumped onto his head and dropped his limiters.

Y/n: Go for the cracked spot.

Y/n put his hands together.

Y/n: Thunder Dragon!

Y/n shot a dragon made of lightning at Zelkova's shield while Chaos used his mouth beam and it actually broke through the shield and broke up some of Zelkova's metal body.

Y/n: What? He's still standing?

Yellow Zelkova: Of course I am! I am the mighty Zelkova!

Helen: We get it! You're the mighty Zelkova! You've only said like 10 times!

Y/n looked to the sky and saw the lighting in the clouds which gave him a new idea.

Y/n: Chaos, go protect the Typhoon. And take Knuckles back for healing!

Chaos: Yes, Lord Y/n

Y/n got off Chaos and contacted Tails.

Y/n: Tails, you got something that can absorb energy?

Tails: Yeah, why?

Y/n: Get it ready.

Chaos grabbed Knuckles and put him back in the Typhoon, then surrounded it with himself.

Amy: Chaos, what's Y/n's plan?

Chaos: Not sure, but I'm sure it'll work.

Y/n got up on a big rock.

Y/n: With this next move, you'll be gone with a thunder clap.

Y/n raised his hand to the sky, having the lightning take the form of a mighty beast.

Seeing it brought shock to everyone's face.

Star: I don't believe it.

Knuckles: Y/n has tamed lighting!

Y/n: This is your end, Zelkova! Thunder Might!

Y/n brought down the beast, making it strike Zelkova as everyone was being protected by Chaos. When the light had vanished, the ship was charged enough to take off.

Tails: That amazing lighting attack charged our engines.

Cream: You did it, big brother!

Helen: As always, he's three steps ahead.

Zelkova's mechanical body was all broken and began to fall apart.

Yellow Zelkova: What- What is happening to me?!

When all the mechanical parts on his body broke off, it revealed Zelkova was some sort of dinosaur creature underneath.

Y/n: Uh, okay, what the hell are you?

Zelkova roared as he began to grow twice his height.

Y/n: Well, that's invalid answer.

Zelkova tried to smash Y/n, but he ran out of the way and manifested Grand Dragoon. They began to push each other in a test of strength until Y/n began to push further. He let out a battle cry as muscles and skin began to form on the skeleton of Grand Dragoon. This allowed him to push Zelkova into the lava. When it was all over, Y/n dropped to his knees and panted heavily as blood leaked from his eyes and his Dragoon disbursed. Helen and Cream ran to his aid.

Helen: Are you okay?

Y/n looked at her and gave a weak thumbs-up.

Chris: He thought he was indestructible.

Star just stood there with widened eyes.

Elsewhere.

Green Spruce bowed to Dark Oak who was sitting on his throne.

Green Spruce: Master, I am saddened to report that Yellow Zelkova is no longer with us. It seems that invention of Eggman's was useless in the face of the Thunderhog brat.

Dark Oak: I see.

Green Spruce: I think it would be wise to dispose of Eggman right now, for I am not sure his motives are the same as ours.

Dark Oak: Eggman hasn't done anything against us, yet, Spruce.

Green Spruce: Are you doubting me, Lucas?

Dark Oak stood up.

Dark Oak: I have not been called that in a long time. I have no doubt in you, Thorn. I need you just as much, if not, more than the rest of my Commanders. For you possess the Dragoon Eyes and I...

Dark Oak pressed a button, showing the seven Chaos Emeralds in glass containers.

Dark Oak: ... Possesse the seven Chaos Emeralds.

Dark Oak proceeded to laugh evilly.
